    • @metalmamasue3680
      @metalmamasue3680 3 місяці тому +2

      No, there shouldn't have been live ammo on the set but that does not absolve anyone of having to exercise basic gun safety.
      You never point the gun at someone you don't want to shoot. You always assume the gun is loaded with live rounds, and check it when it gets handed to you.
      Standing on the action of the armorer alone isn't good enough for a safe environment when firearms are involved.
      Like someone else mentioned, what do you think Baldwin would have done if he had a suicide scene where he had to put that gun to his own head and pull the trigger ? Do you think he would have assumed it was fine ?

    • @ifv2089
      @ifv2089 3 місяці тому +3

      @Donna_Evilson Just proves he was negligent, if there was no live ammo wouldn't have been a lethal incident
      This wasn't a range and even if it was incidents happen even on them, its the job of real safety professionals, not diversity hires to guarantee they don't happen through procedure and redundancies.

      @Donna_Evilson Anyone issued a firearm on set must be given training and guidance in its safe handling and use, but all activity with firearms on a set must be under the careful supervision and control of the professional armourer and the employer.
      All this just proves Alec was negligent, if there was no live ammo wouldn't have been a lethal incident
      This wasn't a range and even if it was incidents happen even on them, like you said its up to real safety professionals not woke diversity hires to guarantee they don't happen through procedure and redundancies.

      @@metalmamasue3680Yeah, maybe. If Hannah was right there and handed it to him and said "Go ahead. It's cold guaranteed." What a little lot of yolks just aren't getting here is the trust factor. This is going on a few basic assumptions: 1) he knows Hannah, knows her dad, watched her grow up. 2) she is a very knowledgeable armorer with no agenda (given). Even if he knew someone he didn't know was on the set out to get him, he knows she wouldn't let it go down that way. He trusts her to not let it happen.

    As this trial continues, it’s showing me Alec has a lot to do with this. Yes, Hannah is guilty to a degree. But these videos showing Alec being extremely arrogant and using the firearm as a pointer WITH HIS FINGER ON THE TRIGGER, really speaks volumes. The video showed Alec absolutely rushing Hannah making her scramble around because something doesn’t go Alec’s way. Alec created a very unsafe environment and violated so many basic gun safety rules.
    And because Alec can’t maintain firearm safety practices, his negligence killed Halyna.

He is literally taking over control of the filming and pressuring the armorer and others to hurry things up. Additionally, if Baldwin had been careful to keep the gun pointed away from other people, even a live round wouldn't have been deadly. Even the state's witness mentioned that she gave warnings about people being in front of the gun when Baldwin was waving it around.

She was rushing and fumbling to grab bullets out of her Fannie pack to load that gun hastily. She ran when swit hung guns or doing something. And ran while holding guns. And ran while holding multiple guns. And ran while holding multiple guns in a very unsafe manner. It doesn't matter if they are loaded or not, have real bullets or blanks, if it's a real or fake gun..........you treat any gun like it is loaded at all times. This firearms expert has been right on the money so far with everything he has said. Excellent work by him. I'm only part way through this video but watching the footage so far infuriates me. Imo. So far I do think some of the blame is on her. Maybe she did have the training. But she wasn't following it if she did have the training. It's the armored responsibility to make sure gun safety is the number one priority. No matter what the director says. The armored can shut the whole production down if they deem unsafe practices and insubordination by cast, crew or directors to follow those safe protocols. I really don't know what to think but by watching her run and holding guns unsafe and hastily trying to reload a gun with bullets she's fumbling around trying to get out of a fanny pack that has several pockets.........I dont think she's had much training. Or has been around guns her whole life. Those bullets should have been in a box, a well labeled box from the manufacturer. Were the other pockets in that Fannie pack holding different types of rounds? If so that is so irresponsible. And by putting her under pressure to hurry up, if she did have different types of ammo in each pocket she could have accidentally grabbed the wrong one...I think most of the blame goes on Baldwin. A jerk, acting like a jerk and a tyrant. Making people hurry up and rush handling guns, and then using a gun as a pointing tool aiming it all over the place. I'm sure there were people in the line of that barrel as he was pointing it around. (My opinion of course) just a complete jerk, controlling a$$hole. Making people scared of him. I think she was afraid to speak up because she was afraid to keep her job probably and that is proven when she tells the crew to get out of the way of the idiot swinging a gun around the set. OK. Sorry about the ramblings. That's my speech for the day. Lol. I hope he gets blacklisted from making movies. As well as whatever this court decides.

    They both need to be held responsible.
    No excuse Alec Baldwin has control issues we've seen his behavior in the media with his temper.
    H 25:20 e has many years in the business and thinks he knows everything.
    She is young naive with a very big job on her shoulders and also the need to make her father proud.
    She is not going to stand up to Alec Baldwin on her second big movie.
    The two women cops that were interviewing Baldwin did not have control, and he took over that narrative as well

      It’s what you’re “not expecting” that makes following basic gun safety essential when handling a firearm. Baldwin is responsible, no matter who gave him the gun, or what condition he “thought” it was in.

      @@forrestsmith9235It was the armourer's job to teach Baldwin that a real gun, prop or not, should never be considered harmless.
      While Baldwin should have been more safety conscious, I do think the 1st AD and Armourer failed in their jobs to keep him in check. And then the producers failed the Armourer, who probably didn't have enough experience or confidence to know how to push back and properly deal with these people. Of course none of this film set protocol has much bearing on the legal culpability.

    Note how she is loading the gun. It is designed to be held in the LEFT hand, open the gate and load the rounds with the right. She is doing it entirely backwards.

    It's really easy to blame one person for what happened here.. The truth is several people had to make several mistakes for this to happen...
    It's very simple folks.. Stop using guns that can fire live ammunition.... Movie Makers need to design / retrofit movie firearms so that they can NEVER EVER accept, let alone fire live ammunition.. THAT'S JUST COMMON SENSE... Make the gun's Breech/Barrel/Magazine a unique shape so that real bullets cannot be inserted into a prop gun and used to KILL A PERSON on set. WHY HAS THIS NOT BEEN DONE ALREADY? Here's another novel idea: DON'T ALLOW/BRING LIVE AMMO ONTO A MOVIE SET!!
