Him and Stephanie are just different kinds of actors. There's all sorts of ways people can act, and none of them are mutually exclusive.

I used to have a pretty high voice but when I started practicing a deeper raspier voice (mostly cause I really like Dempsey’s voice from zombies) that shit made my throat sore the first few times. The throat is like a muscle where the more you do something the longer and more range you can have. I can totally believe that she did not have that shit figured out at the start of the show. And she didn’t. At the start her voice was way higher than towards the middle and end. Very impressive range honestly in my experience at least.

Past examples include... --Steve Urkel - There's a video of him doing legit, gangster wrapping in a commanding voice! --Stevie from Malcolm In the Middle - off camera, you see him walking around and talking normally! --Emily Blunt is British, but pulls off an American accent perfectly! --Katie Sackoff showed up in heels and a skirt, but got told "you're supposed to be an ace pilot" for Battlestar galactica!
I think the weirdest thing is that she was basically the only one who changed their voice for that show. I also know she originally tried out for the role of Amy Santiago

If u notice in the early episodes she sounds very sweet,alkost sounds like the fake friendly super high tone,then she brought it more to the character
