@@adriennehollaway5988 Yeah, I agree. They have their fair share of one off seasons. I think I've always viewed Fox as worse, whether or not it's accurate. Honestly, a lot of networks are too risk adverse. Picking up a show that already has a base is a safer venture for filling a vacant timeslot.
I thought Fox dropped the show because it started licking the boots of identity politics? I mean, the show was always in thrall to identify politics, but when it started prostrating itself, it was just too much.
I never understood how Stephanie is able to talk as Rosa comfortably.
Almost as if she is some kind of... actor? ;)
@@alamunez I think what she means is that it's not comfortable to talk in a voice that's so much lower than your own for long periods of time, it's quite straining for your vocal cords

@@alamunez OP commenter wasn't referring to her acting capabilities. Consistently talking in a deeper voice with a rasp or growl can damage the vocal cords which can potentially lead to a hoarser voice.

I can’t believe it’s over.... The show that made me fall in love with sitcoms all over again. I still remember the quote “all my bleeding was internal. that’s where it’s supposed to be” as the catalyst that made me watch the show. Now, it’s over, and I’m grateful for all the laughs it’s given me. Nine Nine!!
It didn't really feel like a sitcom, I guess because of the lack of the laugh track. Great show though. Sitcoms still unmatchable for me really but I get why others watch them more now.

She is an amazing actress, that instant Rosa she threw out there made me laugh hard, just because she didn't even need half a second to get in character, amazing!
Seth really is a wonderful host. Polite, soft spoken, and respectful. His way of interviewing was very nice. Also, an really gonna miss B99. 😭. It helped me through some really tough times. Love to all cast and crew ❤.

Idk I felt like he’s friends with Andy Sandberg so everytime he asked a group question he just went straight to Andy, instead of getting the rest of the cast involved more.

All I wanted to hear is Holt telling Peralta that he’s the best detective he ever knew. But instead I got that he would be proud had he had a son just like Jake which made the waterworks pour more than I thought possible
Such a rarity when such a great cast with such good writing and well-developed characters are brought together into a great sitcom. B99 easily could have been just a star vehicle for Andy, but it immediately became so much more. Nine Nine!

Probably bc it wasn't as political/ACAB-y, like I know its a cop show and I support BLM as a concept so of course, I knew they had to address the real issues with cops but the finale was just pure joy with everyone we loved back and a bunch of throwbacks and the perfect ending to this show!

I'll never be able to fully articulate how much b99 means to me. It's so much more than just a show. It's been always there for me for the last 5 years. A constant throughout. My heart can't take the fact that it's over. I wish it'd never leave my side :)

I felt the same about Psych before the fan base gave it new life in the form of multiple movies. Hopefully that can happen again. Both shows were resurrected by their fan bases so I still have a lot of hope knowing it’s something NBC has already done in the past. I could easily see A B99: The Movie as a Peacock Original three years from now.

That moment between Holt and Kevin on the penultimate episode genuinely surprised me. I was expecting a handshake or at most a hug. It was really beautiful.
True but it's amazing how just those few words that were exchange between them was everything. Really shows how powerful it was

The final 2 episodes were jewels. Laughed, cried, tears of happiness for sure. It was just so perfect .. Every moment the cast members reappeared, The twists, the heist .. every bit of it was awesome

I'm gonna miss the show. Andre Braugher was hands down the funniest part of the entire show. I feel like his presence was very underrated.

Exactly even after he was referenced so many times in the show, I just don't get why he couldnt do it. At least we got to see Reginald veljohnson in one of the episodes..
The final season was absolutely perfect. I cried when Kevin and Holt kissed in the rain and absolutely bawled on the final episode

Man, the final season seriously knocked it out of the park. But then, I don't remember a weak episode in the bunch. Congrats on a great run!
The Boyle Ep was kind of meh. I don’t think this was among the best seasons of the show but even a relative lower quality B99 season is better than 99% of other shows, pun totally intended.
This last season was the worst the only thing worse then it is the episode with the Swedish police

Brooklyn Nine-Nine was the first show I'd ever binge watched. I started around the end of Season 4, and immediately fell in love with it. Its light hearted and very silly, but lovingly so. My family wasn't a huge fan of it, and I can see why it might not be for everyone but Brooklyn Nine-Nine was there for me whenever I needed it. I remember having a season 6 marathon with my friends, I remember watching every new episode come out at 8pm. It was the only time I ever used satellite TV. Like anyone, I have had some pretty tough spots in the years through high school and whenever I was feeling worthless, or alone or just shitty in any way Brooklyn Nine-Nine made me smile no matter what. I've probably watched Brooklyn Nine-Nine about 30 times now, no lie. I know this sounds stupid but it's so important to me, and I will continue to watch it over and over again for the rest of time. I have posters and mugs and other Brooklyn Nine-Nine Merchandise everywhere. I guess what I'm trying to say is Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a genuine, huge part of my life. I'm sure it is for many people. Thank you, Andre Braugher, Melissa Fumero, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Lo Truglio, Terry Crews, Chelsea Peretti, Joel McKinnon Miller, Dirk Blocker, Craig Robinson, Bill, Marc Evan Jackson, Dan Goor, Michael Schur, Jason Mantzoukas and most of all Andy Samberg(and many others, pretty much anyone involved in the show). Pretty sure I unconsciously base part of my personality off Jake Peralta lmao.
This show is the single reason I discovered my love for comedy and introduced me to so many more escapades like snl, parks and rec and especially ANDY SAMBERG i feel like I have adopted his personality as mine over these last few years. All that I can say is that I will miss this show wholeheartedly and it was a huge part of my life. NOINEEE NOINEEE

I've been watching the squad for 8 years and I can't describe what this show has meant to me. The finale was absolutely perfect and heartwarming though I know we all hoped for a Bruce Willis cameo that didn't happen! My heart is so heavy but I'll always shout at the top of my lungs: NINE NINE!

They are really great actors, people, and an ensemble. I wish they've made this with an audience, and wish the season didn't encounter covid. But, they still gave us great 8 seasons. I am not sad that it is over because I am actually excited over the next possible reunion. Nine-Nine!!!

I just finished rewatching the entire series and the finale hits so much harder now. I miss Andre Braugher.
can't believe I've never seen this. and now I'm seeing it months after Andre Braugher died, which just sort of makes things even more wistful. Brooklyn 99 was the last, great, long-running sitcom I've seen (I've heard Abbot is good, but it's still kinda early in its life). and a _lot_ of that was the casts' performances really capturing the writing so well. just a great, endlessly rewatchable show.

I've ALWAYS loved Andre Braugher in anything he's in. I remember seeing him play in Glory along with Denzel Washington when I was in middle school. His acting in that movie had me in tear in front of god and everybody in my class lol
Anyone else heartbroken to realise that when singing along to Lin Manuel Miranda's lyrics, you now have to sing "Andre Braugher ruled". The switch to past tense is so sad😢

I find it so odd people are always shocked by Stephanie’s voice cuz she used it in all the first season and kinda got the Rosa voice by mid season two.

I never even watched the show and probably won't but I always love the family feeling of a long-running cast. Good on them, and in all their future endeavors.
