Being a Ford guy, I respect the redesigns of all makes by the owners (example: the Buick skirts). It has to be remembered that pickup's and other utility trucks were just built to work and scrapped. They had basic needs and those barely worked, maybe a heater, no radio, power steering was how strong you were and you knew when you hit a bump...not at all a luxury item of today's trucks. The fact many still exist is a tribute to those milking out the lives of those vehicles and a good dry desert or barn doesn't hurt.
Yes , what is it about classic cars that really grab our attention ? The variety ? The character ? The nostalgia ? You American's certainly knew how to show off your car design skills back in the day , just marvellous to see those beauties and hats off to their proud owners as always for having the love and dedication to care for them . Also i could never work down that mine at 3200 ft deep , i don't like heights 😅 .
I'm impressed with your knowledge of the old cars Hannah, I'm sure the stories your grandfather told were an infuence to your love for old cars. Listerning to my dad and uncles talk about how great the old cars that they grew up with definately put me on the path of owning and restoring the old ones I have. I'm guessing you have a Mustang that you're working on. Can't wait to see what it is here someday!
My stepdad would have loved this video he LOVED CARS. Unfortunately he passed away in November due to the dreaded cancer. Thanks for posting this, it reminds me of him. He was a great car salesman. Won awards. R.I.P Pops
When I was growing up I had a paper route, cut lawns in the summer and shoveled snow in the winter. I worked in my dads warehouse as I got a little older and saved as much money as potentially possible. When I turned 16 I bought a 1968 Camaro SS with a 396. I am 35 now and still have the car.
Hello dear Dr. Hannah Straight,
A nice video of some very nice vintage cars (The Ford Edsel is a stunning and very beautiful car, a gem on four wheels!)! Thank you for letting us be a part of these beautiful car shows.
From what you've asked, I'm pretty sure this orange car is a 70's Chevrolet Camaro!
I'm guessing your dream car is a Ford Pick-up or a Chevrolet Astro Van, i´m not pretty sure?!
My dream of a classic car, although I'm not sure if it's more of a youngtimer, would be a 1986 Ford Taurus Sedan with a beige interior!
Many Greetings from muggy and thunderstorming (that´s a typical European summer 🇪🇺, haha!!) Styria, AUSTRIA 🇦🇹, Christoph Grail 🤗👌🚙🚗🛻
Awesome video! The stock F250 was my favorite
the old milk carrier vans were pretty nice. Thank you for sharing the classic cars and trucks with us, Dr. Hannah, I always love seeing your vids.
You always have some of the best videos Dr.Hannah thank you for sharing your videos with all of us. Those beautiful vehicles would not want to touch the snow anymore. It would hurt their beautiful paint jobs. The sun makes them look as beautiful as you. That is why the car shows are held in the summer. Looking forward to next weeks video. Take care, Stay safe, Keep smiling, and have fun. God Bless you and your family.
1937 Chevy four door, what a great mod and restoration - and paint job 👍
I still own my 1965 Ford Mustang hardtop 289 K-Code Hi-Po V8, 4 speed manual. I have owned it for 23 years and counting. It came from Arizona and I am the second owner. Gone In 60 Seconds came out shortly after I bought it. I drove it to the movies with my Military buddies and when we came out there was a huge crowd standing around it. It was the only thing like it or close in the parking lot.
Beautiful old cars 😮. Watching them like backing old days by time machine 😊. Thanks for sharing ur videos, Hannah.
I think that was a '70 Camaro. Split front bumper's very distinctive. Need to see more!
I’m more of a Firebird guy, so not as familiar with the Camaros, but I’m guessing that’s a 70 1/2 Camaro RS. I’m more impressed that you knew what a 427 cammer was, even if you were more interested in the paint. Very rare and only available over the counter for racing. You’ve got quite the eye!
❤another Pontiac!!! We need more of them at these shows!
Its literally the SAME car...you dont know cars.
@@aaronpatterson2369Thankfully my sense of worth does not depend on how tall my truck is, how long my thing is, or whether Aaron Patterson from the internet thinks I know anything about cars. But in case you haven’t noticed, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a snarky or negative comment on this site. I find her attitude toward life refreshing and inspiring, and if she happens to show up in yoga pants or a bikini, who am I to tell her how to dress? 😂Please watch some more of Dr Hannah’s videos to recenter your chi, or take your negative energy somewhere else. G’day! 😘
@@mauricedelarosa6083 OK , I agree with you on the point about being snarky but aaronpatterson is correct, they are basically the same vehicle on the same frame and chassis!!! 🤔
@@joekhatib3798wasnt snarky OR insulting...just facts.
Good Sunday Morning !
Dr. Hannah. Thank you for taking all of us along to see some awesome classic cars at the show. I am thinking your classic vehicle is a Ford for sure, as for the model, possibility it is a early Mustang ? or maybe a 1976 - 77 Ford F-250 4X4 . Take care girl !
Your posts always move me to a better mood. Thanks and hope to see you.
Thanks for the car show. I'm hoping you have a vintage Mustang that you are working on. You are the perfect woman with your interest in cars, camping, trucks, motorcycles, fishing, pizza and exploring. Just amazing. Stay well and be safe.
Thank you for sharing all the beautiful places this great country has to offer.
Those bib overalls be still my heart ❤️
I can't wait for hot August nights! Awesome vid
Great video Doc! Really hit me with nostalgia. That old F-250 looks like the one my dad had back in the 70s. He put a cabover camper on and we took the family from California to Vermont and back. And the mystery car is a nice Camaro,a buddy of mine in high school drove one. Lost him in a motorcycle accident a few years ago. 🙏
I think my favorite was the old Willys. Motor pool had a old one they kept around after the army updated to Hummer.
Almost feels strange not seeing a cooking lesson lol
dont worry another one coming soon=)🍕🙃
Hannah it's a no brainer. Hands down you place best of show ! ❤
Really enjoy this video on classic cars. There are some really nice ones at that shows. I really like classic cars so thank you for sharing your adventure Hannah.
Ha ha ha 🥰❤️you are such a wonderful host. And my favorite part was popsicle break 😁. Thank you so much. My little sister is your biggest fan. We enjoy your videos together. And we try some of your recipes. And she thinks you have a car like mine a classic 1963 Corvette. ✌️
My Grandfather worked at a Ford dealership for about 30 years as well he was the assistant manager when he retired. The Orange car was a Camaro. The long antenna on the Police car was because the radio reception was so bad it took that long of antenna to get a good signal.
My Grandfather was a GM dealer in our town with my father then me for 25 years. Sold in 2001. But cars and trucks are in my blood forever. My favorite was my 58 Chevy 4wd short bed stepside !!
Nice video! I love looking at classic cars, too, Hannah.
August 20 here in Springville Utah, they have a pretty good car show. Sunday in the park usually has about 350 cars that show up. Plus a bbq and a band, and it’s up the canyon to help the view.
My favorites are the Mopar B Body cars. Roadrunners, Chargers, Superbee's of which I have one and a 1973 Roadrunner. Still havn't finished them enough to get to a car show. Oh and I have a 1986 4x4 Silverado. Not done. Almost. I think your classic is a Ford 4x4. Oh and that long antenna are called whip antennas' for CB Radios. Keep on truckin.
My dream car... 1933 Duesenberg SJ Boattail Speedster.
Cord 810/812: 1936 Cord 810 Not only was it the first to have pop-ups, it was also the first American car to be front-wheel-driven.
The orange car is a 1970-1973 Camaro. Not an RS but it has the RS split bumpers. A true RS would have round turn signals inboard of the headlights instead of the more rectangular ones below the bumpers and it would also have a body color extension around the grill.
Gotta love those old classics! Especially the orange Camaro!
Loved the orange Camaro and Ford F-250. Thanks for the show.
hey, Hannah! thanks for the show....cars and you, whoa🤩 let's see, one car.....oh hell.....i want all of them......i guess, the '55 Ford convertible......had a '55 Ford 2-door hard-top in my youth.....sure wish i had it now.....
always have a good time on your channel, no matter what we're doin'......see ya next time, Doc😘
Awesome video!
Orange was a split bumber camaro. Very rare as they where only made for 1/2 a year and few real authentic models still exist. Lots of forgeries though.
The orange Camaro you pointed out was a 70 1/2 Z-28. My friend had a blue one that had the skinny centerline wheels in the front and big-ole meats in the back. I'm a Ford guy, but I always liked that car.
Cool vid. In Europe shows take place in the summer because winter weather is too bleak to hang outside and most owners don't want to get their creations dirty. I guess California could hold shows in winter - but this is probably the time owners are working on their rigs ready for the summer show season. My choice would be either the Willys for a little off-road action, or maybe one of the Mustangs as a daily driver. If I've got this right you've got a Sprinter, an Astro 4x4 and a classic on the go. You're gonna need a bigger garage girl!
Good Morning Hannah, so many beautiful cars. tough to choose a favorite . I'd go with the 75 dentside, so clean just add a slide in camper and that's the perfect rig .
I'm guessing that is a 70 1/2 camaro.
We recently attended the 2023 Tri Five Nationals Car Show at Beech Bend Raceway and Park, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Over 2,600 Chevys from 1955, 1956, and 1957. Cars, trucks, with a few GMC's and even the Corvettes. Show cars and drag race cars - all Tri Fives ! The attraction includes a big amusement park with a roller coaster and a big swimming pool. A huge campground is located along a river which winds around the amusements and the drag strip. Bowling Green is the home of the Corvette Assembly Plant, the Corvette Museum and Raceway, and the Holley Corporation. It is a Hot Rod City. Even the baseball team is called the Hot Rods !
The Metro in your video is not a Hudson. Look it up to find the maker !
Ford bronco would be my guess..Thanks for the tour hannah, they all tell a story and keep the past alive..Cheers my friend 🍺👍🧡
Good morning Dr.Hannah another great video with great cars and your beautiful smile to make my day !😍 My favorite hotrod is a 31 FORD Victoria and hopefully I get mine finished sometime soon. Love the popsicle looks refreshing and I thank your classic car is a 1969 mustang.
GREAT GREAT PLACE , BEAUTIFUL CARS 🚗 , AMAZING , THANK YOU HANNA 👍🇲🇽
On the last weekend in June in the Twin Cities, we have a Car Show called "Back to the 50s." It's put on by the Minnesota Street Rod Association. It's almost impossible to see all the cars there. I've heard there's somewhere between 5000 and 8000 classic cars there. Those folks who don't buy tickets will put out a folding chair and sit with a cooler and watch the cars go in and out of the State Fairgrounds.
3:08, beautiful F-250. It's nice to see older vehicles in this condition and restored. It's like a moment in an era of time that can be remembered instead of forgotten.
That was great! Love all the classic cars. ❤❤
Thanks for sharing this video. Definitely gotta love a car girl.
I used to be into shiny but spending my time cleaning and polishing vs driving and enjoying got old. Sold the hotrod and bought an '86 Ramcharger 4x4 about 15 years ago. It's had many upgrades in that time, including the old school 410ci stroker small block mated to a modern 8spd automatic. It has plenty of power for fun and is 100% daily driver/road trip/offroad capable.....and no Mother's polish required.
I do agree, I'm a proponent of getting enjoyment out of the things you love!
Good morning from Kansas City Hannah. You really hit one of my sweet spots today! (you ALWAYS do...) I currently own a 1995 Chevy two-tone Silverado pick-up and a 1994 Ford F150 in all black... I just sold an all black Dodge Ram because I just did not have time to drive all three. And - I got an offer I couldn't refuse! These old gems only gain value if taken care of properly. Great vid as always Hannah - hope you are happy and well today wherever you are traveling.....
I’m from the KC area as well, you should check out Wills Wheels for car shows each week. Hoping to get to some shows this year with my 65 Ford Econoline👍
@@nickelvan Thanks so much for the advice Sir... I will check out the Will Wheels. I wish I had much more time to devote to my "babies" - too busy at work! Take care Sir...
@@manwithclass09 I know the feeling about no time, seems like I can’t get enough done on the weekends and go play as well😩
There was just magic in the old cars. My second car was a ‘71 Chevelle SS. I loved that car.
Always a great way to start my Sunday, with a little Dr. Hannah! Car Show season it is and there’s plenty of them. My favorite? I’m partial to the old trucks as long as they’re RED…and seems like there were a few of them. The mystery “bonus” car, that was a Chevy Camaro, early 70s maybe? Your favorite…I’m going to say Camaro also, let me know if I’m right! And that loooooong antenna on the cop car, that was for a CB radio! The license plate floor mats, over the top! Thanks for this fun stroll down Automotive Memory Lane 🤗
I loveee the old trucks, they're my favorite to check out, I had no idea the antennas used to be that long but it makes sense. the Camaro is definitely a good looking car, my brother used to have one!🥰
Very cool cars and trucks. Btw, you rock those overalls! Gorgeous
I love the car shows especially Hot August Nights.
Classic cars and the Doc in the house... what could be better
Thank you
This is fantastic.
Good morning Hannah. You should check out Russell’s truck stop in New Mexico on I-40 near the Texas state line. They have a classic car museum there and it’s free to the public
Car shows are in the summer mostly, because of better weather. Classic cars don't go well in winter snow, salt and corrosion . And, more people vacation in the summer. Great video, keep them coming!
That 5700 was mint! love old work trucks
I love the Mopars! You walked past a few of them twice. Any of those would be great. High desert in Nevada -- yeah, it can still get plenty warm there when the sun is shining directly on you!
Don't come to Phoenix yet -- way, way too hot!
I spent 7 years building a 4dr '57 Chevy Bel Air I pulled from a junkyard in Box Elder SD. Frame off, all the rubber body to frame isolators were replaced, the frame stripped and repainted. All new suspension, brakes, etc replaced. I scavenged a 1962 283 CID that was rebuild also, but with 0.30 over bore and a set of "double hump" heads with new valves and springs... basically an NEW engine that carbureted and cammed made 302 BHP a reworked Powerglide transmission with a higher stall converter and shift body to a floor shift. Painted Cadillac "Fire mist red" metallic with micro metal flake gold mixed in. It was Coke can red in the daylight and would flip flop to brown or purple depending on the street lights. Chevrolet "rally wheels" on BFG tires and Oh yes a set of NOS never installed fender skirts (I got in Nebraska). I taught myself how to restore all the stainless, and hand formed the rocker panels, No "bondo" either welded or "leaded" the seams and HUNDREDS OF HOURS in prep, color sanding and long boards to get me satisfied it was ready to paint. SADLY, I sold it and all the equipment in North Carolina as I was sent to Germany (USAF)
I love all the classic cars....❤❤❤ your videos
The blue Apache in your into is my favorite body style.
Absolutely Beautiful !!
Hallo Dr. Hannah Straight !
Wunderbare Autos ! Sehr gut !:)
Du bist wunderschön , dankeschön ;)
Good afternoon Hannah. Seeing you and some classic cars was just what I needed after a tough day at work.
My favorite has always been the Ford Mustang (prefer the red but both cars looked nice). The mystery car… I’m thinking a Dodge Charger. Not sure though.
Great video as always and safe travels.
I always enjoy your car show episodes.
Good morning Dr.Hannah..that look like a 69 Z28...😊...Thank you for the walk thru at the car show ✌👍✌🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🎣🎣
Thank you for the car show! Always fun to see classics and muscle cars. I must admit that I'm new to your channel and truly enjoy your free spirit of adventure. I've got a trip scheduled in a month to rent a camper van or a truck camper and curious as to which way you would go. I've watched your camper van video and agree about some of the nice to have's but your main point regarding true 4x4 offroading and winter driving makes me think the truck camper may be a better option. Thoughts?
Hey Dr. Hannah.
I have a 2007 Ford Mustang, so I will always have a soft spot for the old classic Mustangs from the 1960s. My Mustang is red, so I liked the red one that you showed.
Also even though you didn't show one, I would kinda like to have a 4 door 1967 Chevy Impala because of that show Supernatural. That show gave me the appreciation for classic cars that I have today.
Nice to see you again Angel.
I also prefer red, just not the speeding tickets🙃❤
@@DrHannahStraight
This year marks 10 years that I’ve owned my Mustang and never got a speeding violation until about two years ago when I got pulled over for speeding in North Carolina when I was on a road trip.
I had a 68 Chevy Impala 2 door , why 4 door?
@@Jerry-up8bk Did you read my full comment?
Good morning sunday doc, great way to wake up. Thanks for sharing and as always the sights are sensational, but as far as brand choice, i would have to pick the best of the worst and go with the bow tie.
Really enjoyed your Barbie tribute. You take my breath away. Stunning.
70 Chevy Camaro. Thanks for another cool video!🌻
Great Video Hannah😊
the cammer in the yellow and black ford is so ridiculously cool
All those classic only come out in the Summer when there is no chance of rain. Plus we'd only cruse Main Street, or the Loop or the Ave during the Summer. Go to the movies in Fall and Winter.
Car shows are fun 🤩
Hannah, you need to do Hot August Nights in Reno, it's a 2 week car show and it's big!!!!
Love the car show vids Hannah. We used to have a show the last thursday of every month in the summer but they stopped doing it some years ago. Crazy cause it was a revenue generator for our small town
Whhhhat why did they stop?! Was it around 2020=/
@@DrHannahStraight they cancelled it something like 10 years ago now. Wish I knew why. It was an awesome night
That orange car is about a 70 1/2 Chevy Camaro. My favorite model of that car. Out of all of the cars there I’d take the Shelby AC Cobra. I’ve always wanted one. Thanks for taking me along with you my friend.
oh
and that car had an old motorola 8-track in it
with a built in power booster
and two 6x9 jensens under the back window
if you pop the giant trunk lid...............instant rock concert lol
i went through a few skynyrd street survivor tapes for sure
I can’t imagine what classic car you would be restoring, because your tastes are so broad and varied. The orange vehicle at the first car show was an early 70s Camaro. The bumpers would normally give the year away, but I didn’t see any on that car. There was a 37 chevy. Now I could see you in the back seat of that ride parked going for a ride, because they have lots of room in those back seats, or perhaps a cop car for the hand cuffs. And nobody would come knocking if that vehicle is rocking. I get the impression that you’ve parted ways with your Chevy Astro van.
Classic Cars are just a dream for any owner. I love different Classic models. My all time favorite model is Hannah in cowboy boots. Perfection
Ooh, yeah!
Thanks for the look around the classic car show.
My favorites are the Ford trucks.
I’ve owned a number of them, and they were all excellent vehicles.
Happy Trails!
7:26 That Chevy 2 would make my Dad crazy. He loves the box Nova.
Awesome Episode Hannah !
I sure do love them ol' Napcos!
I'm a C4 Corvette guy, just as of recently. Because there made mostly of fiberglass, and that don't rust nearly as bad.
Where I live they salt the roads so bad in the winter that the ONLY classic cars there are in existence here are the absolutely immaculate trailer queens, and there's just no way I can afford one of those.
And you got to admit, there's just no denying any Corvette....
Greetings from Steel City UK. Loved the video and a special shout out to your amazing reflexes catching the Popsicle.😃
Very beautiful cars❤😮 enjoying fr Jamaica 🏖️
I always enjoy classic car shows. We have several popular ones in the Charlotte area every year. The car at 1:44 is likely a 70 1/2 Camaro. Although they had similar styling thru 72. My favorite would be a 1970 Dodge Challenger. Gorgeous in Plum Crazy.
My favorite classic ar is the 34' Ford four door sedan. Rear suicide doors. Even though spoke wheels are a pain to clean i would have to have them also. The car would be black with just enough chrome with red interior.
The orange car was a camero i dont know the year though.
Thanks again Hannah for sharing another cool video. My only guess as to your classic vehicle it probably a truck. May you have a good one. Have fun take care
I love the 57 Chevy 3100 with the big block you looked at. My wife has one also.
Good morning Dr. Straight, hope all is going well. Thank you for taking us to the classic car show, looks awesome! To answer your question, my all time favorite would have to be a '76 Special Edition Pontiac TA. Stay strong and healthy, be looking forward to your next adventure.
David! Thank you so much for the comment and for stopping by=) Sad I didnt see many trans ams at this show, hoping that changes at the next🙃
@@DrHannahStraight I will have to say that all of the classics you showcased in the vlog are very impressive. Maybe one day I'll be able to purchase one.
Epic cars thx
If I had to choose the C 10 but they all looked like fun!!
Thanks for another interesting video.👍
Oh yeah, the starburst with the gummy ball. Kind of like a tootsie pop, only opposite. What was the orange ones with creamy center? I liked those. I think what we could do is drive up to Lake Tahoe in our Shelby Cobra and knock up over the weekend. I'd take care of you afterwards baybee.
Red C2 vette. That’s my guess. Also great at show! Never heard of it but wanna go now lol
That Ford Sunliner was stunning! The two tone coloring in a convertible is classic beauty. Thanks for the fun Sunday AM vid Hannah. That Sunliner got nothin on your classic beauty 😉! #classic
very cool vid - thanks!
Glad you liked it!
