I cry every time I see these videos. I cry tears of hope. I have been suffering since I was 10 years old. Bullied, eating disorder to try and get rid of it. Now at 56, I have continuous pain, but I finally know what it’s from and there is help. I am just starting my journey and am going to see a specialist at the end of October just to get a formal diagnosis so I can begin treatment and hopefully, eventually surgery. You cannot begin to imagine how life changing this surgery will be, so thank you for doing this for women!
This is ABSOLUTELY life changing surgery. I only just recently found out about lipedema, at age 43 (peri-menopausal), but I know I've had it since I hit puberty at age 11. Like other replies, I was teased my entire life by peers. Health care professionals were perpetually condescending, though I know they meant well. They wanted me to be healthy, but they stopped diagnosing because of my weight. It's definitely frustrating when you tell someone you don't eat, that you exercise, but you can't lose weight. No one believes you. I have cried so many tears of relief over the last few weeks. I am still processing the understanding and realization that it was NOT MY FAULT. I'm going to get myself into some proper compression garments ASAP. In the meantime, I am doing everything I can to educate myself and my health team, while spreading awareness to everyone I talk to. Every time I see legs that look just like mine in these videos, my eyes well again. What a cruel and deceptive condition. Thank you for helping to save so many of us.
Hi Joshua ! When I learned about lipedema I was already wandering whether my cellulitis was actually lymphedema and was very excited when I discovered your clinic is only 20 miles away ! I’ve been viewing ALL your videos and visited your website many times to have a better understanding of my condition. The weather is still too hot to be trapped in compression garments and I have to practice having them on 24/7 😳🙄 I’ll be in touch soon !
Thank you so much for sharing this. I relate to this case and I am very hopeful to follow in her footsteps. I am looking forward to living with less pain. I have just started wearing the compression leggings the past week and I find them very helpful.
I’ve been active for 3 years and I’m 27 and i can’t seem to LOOK like the gym rat that I am because my legs look too fat! It makes me cry how unlucky I am! I should look better than I do now😭

I've always had large lipedema arms since 11 yrs old. I had a crush on this guy but he will call me Popeye because of my arms....

I'm glad you found this helpful!
Her results look fantastic. I had lower legs, upper legs and upper arms done last year and I haven't noticed any regrowth, thank goodness!
Thanks for sharing!
