I offer PAL and traditional SAL only.
Do you know of any surgeons in Australia who follow your method?
I don't have a specific method I follow. I would look for a board certified plastic surgeon and ask if they have familiarity with lipedema.
What about the manual extraction of the fatty nodules like Dr Schwartz does? Do you do this manual extraction of the nodules?
I don't find this is a necessary part of the debulking surgery. Manual extraction also requires more numerous and larger incisions for what I perceive as no improved benefit.

Does Medicare pay for the liposuction?
It depends on if the patient meets the criteria for medical necessity. It will also depend on the reimbursement rate. Sometimes medicare will approve the surgery but the payment for the services causes surgeons to have to lose money on the surgery and they won't move forward. Tough situation!
If a person has progressed to lipolymphedema, can they still get this procedure?
