I love the peak district but only done the Monsal and high peak trails, which I did last Easter, when I used to do a lot of cycling in the Peak District in the 80s it was all road cycling including straight along the A6 and not sure on the road but bloody busy even in 80s straight across the M1 junction at Kegworth,
I was up on the high peak trail yesterday morning with my dogs, the wind was howling, As for my favourite trail I would have to say it depends on the time of day the Tissington trail is stunning in the morning with the sun coming over the hills. and the high peak is the same when its going down but there is something about the Monsal trail I love.
Hi there, yes the pro-standard grill mount. By far the best versatile mount you can get for an action camera in my opinion! It's great for capturing POV, not so great for talking through but I've been known to do that too - must get out that habit!
You can see the route here : www.strava.com/activities/8312541489 - Beresford Lane NCN immediately afterwards, back lanes to Hartington, the steep climb was at Pilbury which lead us back to High Peak.
Tissington trail is my favourite, for the challenge High peak. Love the peaks
Yeah, nice ride Richard... We enjoyed the Peak District and will go back for more sometime.👍
You should! Happy New Year Wheelers!
Очень красивые места. Уверен, что летом там просто нереально круто!
I have never been to the Peak District so to see the views it make me want to now.
Great content ! You got yourself a new subscriber :)
Welcome aboard! Glad you enjoyed it.

It's the tunnels!
@@BikepackingAdventures. I do love the tunnels. My favourite section is between Millers Dale and Blackwell.
You got the route to see on ride with GPS or similar?
I will have to start sharing my rides in the description, here is the one:

Great video mate. Is that one of those camera mounts you put in your mouth that you're using in a few parts of this video?

Richard, what path did you take after the manifold trial back up toward the high peak trail ?

@@BikepackingAdventures thanks Richard. i have seen the path at the end of the high peak trail loads of time but didn't know where it went to.
You could have rode all that on your sander and saved yourself a lot of money
True for the trails, but I didn't get the NukeProof for just this kind of terrain, I have other events in mind over the next year.
@@BikepackingAdventures I can understand that but if things get heavy a mountain bike is the way to go
