Most people underestimate north east Lincolnshire. It’s bloody marvellous gravel/road cycling country. I compare it to the Dordogne without any French.
As ever Richard great show of the stunning Lincolnshire countryside. And just on a side note your nice straight enjoyable bit is a section of the old roman road from Lincoln to Skegness.
Ah thanks for the reminder.... there indeed was a sign at the far western end of that route that read Roman Road. Yeah it was interesting that section, definitely do again (in that direction) before the wet weather arrives.
Cracking video Richard, even though I was moaning about my gears all the way! it was still a fantastic ride round, smiles and wonderful views of the wolds - can’t beat it.
Great route was out on some of those tracks myself a few days back in fact I came of my bike going through the Ford at Biscathorpe didn’t see the slippery slime just under the surface and was going to slow and my bike just went sideways! Bent the mech hanger but luckily I had spare with me. Anyway great effort chapo 💪👏👏

Lovely video. I’m heading out that way for a bikepacking overnighter next weekend. Riding from Boston up to Mablethorpe then inland to Louth and then down through the Wolds to Horncastle and back Boston. Do you have a GPX for your route? Be interesting to see if I end up on some of those trails. Any must see POIs?
I haven't added any POIs as it's just the route they sent, but if you visit this video again I've updated the description and pinned a comment to the route on RideWithGPS - you can export from there however you please. =) Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you have a great trip!
