I own an 8(a) business, certified since December 2021. I have no 8(a) awards. However, I do work for GSA. They will not do an 8(a) sole source? Why??

Who knows? I have the same standard answer though... because they don't care about doing sole source contracts. It's not bad or good, it's just them. I would definitely pursue agencies that already do a ton of sole source and get in there to grow. I've done a ton of training on that.

@@neilmcdonnell thank you for your response. I gathered as much. Concerning your Govcon In a Box "Check-up," I scored an 87. The two reasons for that score include: (1) My DSBS Capability Statement sends buyers to the SBA instead of my website." I do not see that. My web address link sends me directly to my website. Will you please explain this? (2) Keywords issue. Again, I have keywords listed on my SAM profile and on my DSBS profile, maxium number at all locations. What am I missing. Thank you for your help.
