      Hey I have a quick question about the spacers does it only have one spacer that goes on the left side where the belt is and on the right side does the arm that extends out of the caliper considered as the spacer for that side?

    • @TwoWheelRocco
      @TwoWheelRocco  3 місяці тому

      Take a moment and look at the video at 8:35 and you will see us slimmer, spacer, and the caliper arm. The slimmer spacer goes to closest to the wheel and then the caliper on usually you wanna install the caliper arm and then slide the spacer in there. It's like a quarter inch thick check it out on the video. Hope this helps. Let us know how it works out.

      Take a look at the video at 8:35 and you will see the thinner spacer that goes closest to the wheel. Then your brake caliper. usually I install the brake caliper, Then slide that skinnier spacer in there. Hope that helps. Let us know how it works out any questions just ask.

Love them all :) You have a clear concise way of teaching that even this regular average C+ southern boy can understand. I feel way more confident in success after watching them. I enjoyed them all.
    Questions :
    a) You said the one axle nut (?) is a 35mm. Is the opposite nut the same 35mm ?
    b) Have you ever noticed a headlamp lens or windshield that wasn't so clear anymore ? What would you suggest ?
    c) Is it hard to change a kickstand ? Any pointers / cautions ?

    • @TwoWheelRocco
      @TwoWheelRocco  5 місяців тому +1

      Happy to help. You need to really check if it's the old style bearings and you're torquing, let's say like a new bike. you're going to have problems. Needs to be a little tolerance. On those older bikes with the old school bearings. What year wheel did you buy. Usually what I do is measure everything out. Is there a spacer in there you have to think about it if it was a new bearing the steel tubes all locked up you can never have a problem if it's an old style bearing you can have problems it will bind. I hope that helps. Let us know how it works out, thank you for watching. Ride safe and have a great day. Solid bearings have a talk of 110 pounds on that retire but it's a 1 inch axle. What is yours probably 3/4 or you do is set the old-school bearing and put the car pin in the axle to hold the nut in place.

      Happy to help, I have noticed that before. On the older bikes. But as long as that rotor on your disk is where it needs to be that everything is fine. But it should be centered. Things happen over the years I would take a look at older bikes, the next time you see one, but truly it should be centered so I would think your fender. Somethings going on. Thank you for watching all your support Dudley.. Ride safe and have a great day. Let us know if you figure it out.

      @@TwoWheelRocco Thanks for the reply. I'm also rebuilding the starter solenoid on the 2000 Road King. In the process of removing the starter I had a starter bolt that twisted off, leaving about a third of it in the case. I'm not sure the best way to remove what is left or how much trouble it will be.
