It must be such a great feeling to have your generator and other gear delivered, as well as buying a tractor too! The tractor will make a massive difference for you moving forward with the renovations on your land. The veggie garden is looking great and the little house looks so much better without the concrete render 🌱🌞🏡🌞🌱
I can’t agree more regarding render, it looks ugly, and seals the walls, so all the moisture stays in, even we have to wait for more then a month until we can do any structural work on the cottage I decided to take render off as soon as I can, to get the walls breathing 👌😊

I am a great believer in the straw mulch, I find it improves my soil and discourages the weeds. I am glad your preference is to not use the black plastic, we gardened without it in my childhood.
We too believe that mother earth has got everything we need, there is simple no need for plastic in our garden

AND A GARDEN ON THE WAY, PLENTY OF POSITIVE THINGS HAPPING IN SPRING IN PORTUGAL!!!!.. BE BLESSED. MAYBE YOU CAN ADD SOME FOOD PREP CONTENT. ALL THE STONES ON THE FRONT OF THE TINY HOUSE ARE GORGEOUS... I ALWAYS LIKE EXPOSED GRANITE!!

Hello, discovered you from watching Theo prepare to hand off the tractor to you. I'll subscribe to your channel too. if at all possible take the extra step and have your water tested so you know what kind of filters you need and why the water has a metallic taste. It may have been a really long time ago when your neighbor learned about his water and other things could now be in the water. Be safer for your own health.
The other thing I was thinking about, maybe we should let the water to run off for a few hours, god knows when this borehole was used last, but yes there is a place in Castelo Branco were we can get our water tested, we will do the borehole and one of the wells as well 👍

I think you got a good tractor from Theo and Bee, they always took care of that tractor..it was like his baby..lol...you guys are doing a great job and you were asking what people like to watch..I kinda enjoy pips way of doing it having one during the week awnsering questions from mail and describing what they have done..maybe show a little then once a week show the work you did or what you have done that week...just a thought anyway...and that tractor for sure will make some things a little better for you..have a good week...good channel

Videos that focus on a project would be interesting, but day-to-day videos are good, also. Maybe you could go back and forth or just insert a project video as often as you complete another one or reach a place where part of a project is completed.

beautifull video, what i would like to see...... building and redecorating of course with in debth explanations of what is needed in prodject planning license/permit applications for every project if any/needed, and every day work and improvements on the farm
Regarding licenses and other legal stuff check our “how much did we pay” video, as the time goes in if we will apply for any other stuff we will put it on youtube of course. It’s our first stone building project we need to learn a lot, but definitely will share our experiences with you 👍

As far as feedback, I’m just interested in how you deal with your building. I have a stone cottage in Spain and am planning to use lime based mortars to fix, point, insulate etc. it’s great to see what others do, and we all learn something. Garlic, I always just plant the cloves, get good results in this climate, I love the green garlic and make pesto with it. Impressed with how fast the garden is developing. Wish you all the luck, get ready for thousands more subs 😉🍀
We done lots of research and it seems lime is the perfect material for stone buildings, as it allows walls to breath, don’t lock moisture inside unlike the cement 👍

It’s cement render, stone walls have to breath, we will take render outside/inside of the building out, and point the walls with lime, also use different grade of lime to do some repairs on the walls as well

Well, I would’t say that being you tuber makes you a lazy person who doesn’t want to work and just begs for money from others, for us personally, a youtube becoming and income stream to realize our dream of the lifetime, we sold everything we had and moved to Portugal without any source of income, you might call us dreamers but thats what we done, and now when our channel met the criteria for monetization( getting paid for the adds showing on our videos) we gladly going to accept that money from youtube, regarding viewers supporting youtubers it’s completely up to each individual, some people enjoy spending their hard earn money at the casino, drinking at the bar, betting etc.etc.. and some wants to support someone who is doing something different and have a clear goal of building their life the way they want, peace and love to you and your family 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
