Katanka cars are Chinese Foday CKD kits. Imported without paying tax. Go look at the Google Earth image of the Katanka factory, and compare it with other car assemblers or manufacturers in Africa. If the Ghanaian manufacturer exports these vehicles to the West and the United States, I bet they would apply heavy tariffs and customs regulations to keep African auto manufacturers out of their markets. Also, the Europeans and the Japanese auto manufacturers will muscle in their dollars to block them out. That is why Black Folks should support their own and always buy Black.
Our business men don’t want to lose at the beginning and win big at the end, I hardly even see Ghanaian celebrities or public servants use this cars. In fact I’ve never set my eyes on one yet. they need to focus on African continent first. If they sell this in the western nations it will fail. Black Americans used to have their own car brand many many years ago, but it didn't succeed mostly because they are living in a white's man country.
