Yeah, growing up where the new market (Dubai) is, used to be the lorry station full of taxis, ovan trucks etc cars loading and heading to various destinations. The Kumasi Central Market was located at where the construction is currently underway. My family had stores there at "Booter3 line and Duku line" so it was second home growing up. It was open air and way bigger than the lorry station

In Ghana,if you talk about business, Ashanti is very much more oriented than Accra. Central Market was the biggest, but now under renovation. Kajetia was bus station to all destinations in Ashanti,however, the former president Mahama tur it to be market,which the Asantes complain about. So that brings about the new Central Market to involve car stations there to be the biggest in Africa
