Thank you so much for the review. I am happy to hear your perspective. Thank you for supporting Ghanaian owned business. Hope you are loving Oyarifa. I truly appreciate 🙏🏿 your honest review of the truck. I don't know a lot about the company but I believe they are pretty new to the car business so there will be hit and misses. l am glad you are happy with the truck . Once again thank you for taking the time to do the review for us. Have a wonderful day you two. 👍🏿🙏🏿👍🏿🙏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
@@TheBodleysJourney2Ghana I think that will happen when the vehicles are price competitive, reliable and warranty backed as those coming from Asia, Europe and America. People wont be buying vehicles for the sake of patriotism, they will demand more than that.
You should write the Company a review. So proud that a black man from Ghana is building a car brand👏👏. I think you should move the set back when driving to get that space you need.
Thanks for the review. Kantanka... It's OUR truck! Have you support so each generation gets better and hopefully they'll keep an ear out for good owners feedback and reviews.
Imagine I were the one to own this truck from him, I would be like the truck is 200% okay knowing that it has a lot of work to be done to make it complete simply because it was made by my own man and also freeing myself from naysayers to say that this dude wanna spoil market for Kantanka 😂😂😂😂 thanks for coming out boldly to say what I wouldn't do🙏🙏 Kantanka to the whole wiase
I am 5’5” about and I think this pickup truck will be more than perfect for me. Maybe it can use an extra 50-150 horsepower and make it a turbocharged diesel which usually means better fuel economy depending on how it’s setup. We have a family ranch truck ford f-350 diesel with a manual but sometimes I can’t always scoot the seat up to engage the clutch pedal. I have to lay down to start the truck lol.
This truck is not meant to be compared to f150 😅. Maybe Ford raptor or hilux or Nissan Navara is a closer comparison. F150 is a heavy duty pickup truck.
Hi there! It was priced at less than 32K USD. We actually shot a video entitled “We purchased a vehicle in Ghana” in that video it shows a lot more of the specs inside. Thank you so much for watching!
What type of engine and transmission is inside the truck? Because I’m hearing it’s not manufactured in Ghana it’s just assembled in Ghana 🇬🇭. There’s no issue with because even the US does this with some brands. I’m just concerned about the type of engine and transmission for longevity and service parts. I’m hearing it’s actually a Chinese manufacturer.
The parts are shipped from China and assembled in Ghana. The manufacturer is Foday. You might spot some glaring similarities between Foday and Kantanka models.
No Most likely the engine was not made in Africa. I think a company in Ethiopia is making engines; maybe Ghana could parner with them on engine manufacturing
say it again. I had a Chevrolet 2010 pick-up, one of the best ever. That's a used price one in the US if you can find it. You can't compare them to Toyota and others. It will take time. They are black own and we need to support them. Remember Hyundai , now look at them. I have the SUV Tucson sport limited, can't touch that. When I get to Ghana I will buy. I am not going to ship. Thanks for sharing. Good to know. Shalom

As long as we keep supporting Kantanka as black owned, it will get there Because it started manufacturing not long ago..Great reviews 🇬🇭✊🏿🇬🇭
It is actually a Chinese car that is assembled in Ghana under the owner's name

Good review, katanka is a work in progress, fairly new black owned car company
I can appreciate your journey. I’m Malone Derrick’s uncle. Great details stay focused. 🙌🏾
Derrick and his wife are good people my wife and I really enjoy their company.
I honestly think that if we have cars made in Africa, the continent should buy them to support home made.
I agree

Exactly
Honest review. For the price compared to the Toyota hilux, it's still a good choice.
Glad you are supporting a local brand. Wish our political leaders would do the same.
Discovered your channel yesterday and subscribed. Thanks
God bless you bro for support Ghanaian made truck . That’s a wonderful great move and it’s about we African made products. Congrats once again bro 😎.

Nice review of the Katanka pickup 👍🏿
Do you have to put DEF in it? Does it have a DPF and other related emissions equipment like US diesels? How much was it in US$?

This isn't about boldness, it's a review...a way to help Kantanka enhance their products.
Since I already have a newer truck I'm gonna have to just ship mine
I think that would be a good decision.
Do some research on what the Customs tariffs are going to be. It can tend to be an important variable in making the decision to ship.
To ship to Ghana and the duty to receive is more expensive than purchasing Kantanka Trucks in Ghana 🇬🇭
The company is still working on in progress ,so in due course they will get better with their cars. Thanks for the honest review family.
Nice truck.. could you give us an update on the truck in like 6 months etc.?
Now that you've had the truck for a year, how do you feel about it? Is it handling the rough roads well? @TheBodleysJourney2Ghana
Very nice truck and great that you brought a locally made vehicle. I’m shocked that didn’t have the Toyota truck you wanted
They did the Toyota, it was the price I didn’t like. Much more expensive.
What!!! MADE in Ghana?? I need one in Uganda!
@@NurseSusanthe name of the company is Kantanka, you can search them and order online
Kantanka Obrempong is a bigger pick up truck in case this is small for the customer
Yeah this would be more comparable to a Ford F150 or Toyota Tundra - ua-cam.com/video/FyQm96r9f3o/v-deo.html
The price is what matters. I think their prices are unbeatable.
It is a great overview and I suggest Kantanka automobile should take all the corrections seriously and work on it thank you.

Nice review and great truck
Well done👍👍.
how many L or cc does the engine have? 2.0L 3.0L? and is the engine turbocharged? probably not otherwise you would have more power
Another great video. Hey, family I reached out to you both but not sure if I have the right number.
For the price of $22,000 total, I'll definitely buy that over Toyota Tacoma, which costs $55,000 plus shipping and duty. Likely to cost about $70,000

What’s the cost in cedes ?
Multiple the dollar price by $11.30
Please how much is this vehicle going for?
How much for shipment to 🇿🇦??
Reach out to company…Kantanka Ghana…the trucks are well built and cheap…I will buy one when I move to Ghana.
Is it a manual or an automatic transmission car?
I would like to know the real price of that pickup truck, all taxes and duties included.
I'm interesting and am hearing all kinds of prices.
No duties. It’s not being shipped to Ghana. It’s a local car company, made in Ghana truck.
How may I get in touch with you regarding your car's. Thank you
It’s a nice mid size truck, should not be compared to a full size truck.
How much was the truck?
Right I want to know
Thanks bro.
Displacement of engine in cc or liters, horsepower and torque ?
How much does it tow?
Sounds like Kantanka needs to make a few tweaks.
How much did you pay for it
How much ??
Great
Hey you forgot to mention Chevy lol
Im a truck girl myself, i had a Colorado
Yep. You are correct. But I’ve never driven a Chevy
But your Kantanka vehicle cost a fraction of the F150
