I have finally found time to make the first audio of 2024! Renovating my room took more out of me than I'd like to admit, but while recording and editing this audio, one thing is clear: I missed creating!
Also, if it sounds a little different to you, I apologise! I recorded and edited this in the living room so I've done what I can!
Many of you were likely expecting this as I'd said the first audio would probably be Xanthus. But what surprised me was how fresh it felt writing something that didn't belong in the main storyline, but instead, in another universe. It opens up so many more opportunities with other characters; you'll see what I mean when you listen!

This is so cute. But I can't believe they are having the talk about turning. I remember the elder vampire saying that even if the human partner of a bonded pair turns into a vampire, they still have to die in the process and the bond will be severed and Xanthus will lose a part of himself. That thought has been on my mind ever since that episode.
Damb imagine if xanthus loses feelings for us and this turns into angst ha aha jst kidding

While this story is lovely and adorable in so many ways, I can't help but think about what this means for our "actual" timeline. Why give us such a happy ending now with what's going on in the other timeline and where we last ended up in Xanthus' last video? I don't, maybe it's just the pessimist in me and paranoia, but I'm scared with what's coming for us next. But again, incredible content on your part as always Saku!!🫶🏾✨
