  • Here's a quick review of the Sabrent M.2 SSD to 2.5" SATA/USB 3.0 Enclosure, which is a perfect SATA/USB drive for the ATOMOS NINJA V HDMI recorder. With this enclosure, you can also upgrade any device that uses SATA HDDs to an M.2 (SATA) NGFF SSD. It's a perfect solution for those who already have a spare NGFF SSD or if you need an enclosure with both SATA and USB ports.

Hello, I bought an Xbox Series X console. It has been a week. When I turn on the console, it stays in the Xbox logo for two minutes. It enters the menu and then enters the game. I reset the console and thought the problem was solved, but I saw a problem installing a game. It has the same problem again. What do you think is the problem with the console?

have you tried it with Ninja V+ or Ultra at 8K, or 4k 120fps. Keen ti see if this is a viable fast option.

There's no difference in speed between this M.2 NGFF SSD and a full-size 2.5" Samsung SSD. They will still have the same speed, and there are no better solutions at the moment. The only difference is the convenience of using a built-in USB port in that adapter. So if Atomos claims Ultra at 8K or 4K 120fps support on a SATA III port, I guess it will work somehow. I didn't have an opportunity to check it yet.

There are two types of M.2 SSDs: NVMe or PCIe drives and NGFF, which are regular SATA drives but in the M.2 form factor. You can use only NGFF drives with such adapters, and they don't tend to get as hot as the super-fast NVMe drives. However, you can always apply some thermal putty on top of the drive, and the aluminum case of that adapter will act as a heatsink. The same cooling process is used in regular 2.5" SATA SSDs.

The m.2 sata is just same sata ssd 2.5 right?
And because the m.2 nvme in my country is same price sata ssd 2.5 thats why I think about it but that problem what I afraid about it
And do you mean thermal putty like what use it in cpu block or like what in motherboard at m.2

so are you saying nvme just isnt support at all? or do you mean you wont reach the speeds of an nvme drive

There are no adapters for NVMe drives, and I don't think they will ever exist. However, you can use any NGFF SSD, they are not expensive and provide the maximum speed at which the Atomos is capable of working.
