do you know if those Sandisk drives are fast enough to perform well with the V? they're $50 for 1tb atm and I picked up three for my new Ninja V, wondering if I should grab a couple more while they're so cheap.

Works great on mine, no problem so far. I bought mine for $60 for this video~! $50 is a great deal. 4K should be perfectly fine.

@@Ricardo-ic8pi for 4k 60p you have to use the approved drives. My SanDisk Pro will work, but after a few seconds you get the warning that the drive can't keep up with the recording.... so make sure to get the approved one to not have to deal with that.
Curious about that SSD when using it with Sony A7Siii especially 4k slow motion footage.
I'm sorry, this channel is mainly Canon and Nikon specific.
Does anyone makes shorter empty cheap cases for those SSDs? Usually those 2.5" drives are mostly empty

I think that the Lunchbox III was a bad design choice . Now they block the air vent of the atomos just like the normal ssd brackets . No reason in getting it at all !
They should have just redesigned the Lunchbox II and make it extend slightly more so that it can accept the 4tb 870 evo or even the crucial ones and done ! The whole meaning of having the Lunchbox was that it helps prevent overheating and now they did a really bad design choice .
No overheating here. Im in the studio still filming with it in 2024.
@@theCameraVille Any idea of the ANDYCINE Lunchbox 2 is compatible with the atomos ninja 2023 model ? That one looks similar in size to the ninja v but no info anywhere .
