We could use Brother Kwame's powerful voice today. What he would have thought of the rebelllions today would probably similiar to his thoughts of the rebellions of the '60s.
Today's generation of warriors need to hear the voices of those who came before, who laid their groundwork. ✊

It amazes me that a people who have been the perpetruators of so much violence; expect for the victims of that violence to remain nonviolent.

can someone answered this question for me, what so important about being nonviolent? Why do we favor nonviolence as oppose to violence? American Blacks are the only people who love their conquers.

I was listening to Oliver Stone the famous director talk about the Vietnam War and he said "the American consensus was that if they keep killing the Vietnamese, they would eventually be eradicated. But after the American's kept bombing them they kept coming. Man, they were really fighting for their country!" I paraphrasing it a bit, but I just found that interesting. Now I know America isn't Black American's home land but the idea to fight against those odds is amazing to me.

What a powerful moment in history, there was stark contrast between the ideological movements of MLK and Kwame yet they were always so closely intertwined. I think it’s important for all of us in today’s time to revisit these movements and moments in the 60s

The Death of Dr. King also Became the birth of the Black Panthers.

It was actually the death of Malcolm X, because they modeled there teachings and some of his teachings after him. And the Black Panthers we’re started after his death in 1965 so almost a year later.
