Catching our first LOBSTER was as exhilarating as it was delicious. Join us this week as we spend a day underwater, searching for our next meal. Because let's be honest, our food is running SUPER low aboard Seawind. And after that Wahoo mishap...
We hope you enjoy this ocean to table episode of Sailing Seawind from the beautiful Exumas!

My uncle was a 90-day wonder in WWII. He commanded a PT boat in the Pacific theatre. He always told us that he didn't fear sharks. But barracuda were totally unpredictable. I haven't found that to be true. Barracuda are inquisitive, but respectful. They might be more aggressive if you are holding a lobster.

Having grown up on boat I find your naivety refreshing. A few points though, use the lobster antenna to clean the pool tube. Don't worry about the baracudas

Sorry I hit post accidently. I was going to add that although barracudas do rarely go for shiny jewelry they are like puppy dogs and will follow you around. Use the lobsters antenna to clean out the pool tube. Lastly put on underwear before filming your morning coffee

We double checked and she definitely has underwear on! We always watch the episodes from beginning to end, and sometimes more than once before uploading to make sure!

I can't believe that so many channels throw the best part of the loster/cratfish over the side. Guys the legs & antenna have the sweetest meat.
So please, next time honour the beast. A nut cracker is great for breaking the legs, if not available a tap with a hammer. It's also fun.

I was about to type about the legs and antenna. Also, the other non eatable parts can be use for bait when fishing/sailing.

... not a diver using a suit ... had never thought of that aspect that a suit could be crooked, pulling skin or even muscles in the wrong direction. Guess there is more to putting one on than meets the eye. Can ust imagine pulling it on and then standing and the suit wants to twist you into a pretzel .... that lobster sure looked good .... have also done that using a calculator for something easily computed in the head .... I liked the reasoning from Katie "you must still have saltwater in your ears" .. had a chuckle over that .... what a great lawn, can imagine cutting it and letting ones mind drift .... thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, ust dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....

Stick a lobster leg in rear end to clean vein out, those lobster legs do have tasty meat in them . Enjoy your videos very much ! Put your thumb in the rear end of the tail and push the tail out of the shell ,I steam my tails for 5,6,7,8 minutes depending on size of tail. I also grill the tail ,18x1 equals 😂😂😂😂😂

We've started cooking the legs too on the bigger lobsters! Taking out that vein is always weird 🤣

Everytime 'muricans start going about their measurements, we metric peoples mass palmface. And dipping lobster in a "VEGAN butter"...it's a slippery buttery slope
