Years in the making and finally these are the results. That the farm itself was engineered properly could be seen by what you have shown over the past few years but the fact that you managed to present it this nicely and go into the finer details for those less talented than you is really worth a lot. Very well done!

I've played minecraft for year and always wanted self sustaining tree farms. I knew that nether trees were the answer but don't know math or how to design. Many designs I saw were either too slow or need a bone meal farm hooked up to them to make them work. I'm a farm perfectionist, which is why your farm fits perfectly my criteria. I was using comparators facing into droppers triggered by two observers facing each other and it would only drop 8 into each composter at a time. I had 12 composters. I had to use 20 stem growing spots just to keep it going for a few hours because I wasn't getting the extra bomemeal from a roots farm! This is pretty amazing!

happy to have built this in my hc world a few weeks ago, might not be the fastest but definitely fast enough for singleplayer thats for sure. i did have to spent a couple hours removing the storage and adding my own waterstream and composting switch solutions as its connected to a central storage system but i got there in the end, very satisfying to watch it run tho i gotta say
