Wow hi thanks for watching and commenting that's so awesome, I doubt this video would have been anywhere near as polished without your replay mod tutorials :)
@slicedlime Why don't mojang gives a way for bedrock players to mine or destroy blocks automatically without player input like java has tnt duping? Why does mojang expect players on mobile to build a complicated wither cage using bedrock blocks instead of using tnt duping or an alternative?
It's funny and fascinating that technical Minecraft has reached a point at which writing papers on certain aspects of the game wouldn't even be a joke anymore.
that's what i half-jokingly plan on doing sometime in the next 12 months (edit: maybe more than 12 months, keep discovering new nuanced systems within playerless farm cores)
The editing alone is incredible, let alone the amount of work you put in designing this bad boy. Truly incredible work ncole, you should be proud of what ya got here!
While I most likely won't be building this farm, you sir deserve high praise for the work you have done. Your scientific, methodical approach is fascinating and results speak for themselves. Can't imagine the amount of work you put into this and hope you'll find another project that will keep you occupied for next few years. We the viewers will be waiting for another scientific paper level presentation from you. Hats off.
thanks so much, i got 2 more videos similar to this planned but that's for the far future as both farms aren't fully designed yet and will both also take months to plan, record and edit
It feels more like a research for world development than just a wood farm for Minecraft ( btw the video is so well made with furnished finishing, pin point details u deserve more recognition)
Years in the making and finally these are the results. That the farm itself was engineered properly could be seen by what you have shown over the past few years but the fact that you managed to present it this nicely and go into the finer details for those less talented than you is really worth a lot. Very well done!
that's awesome, I totally agree that math can be quite bland but with purpose, a practical application, it's like the most intriguing thing in the world
@@ncolyer 100% agree. I was always good with numbers and equations/math in general throughout school. Giving it a purpose makes it actually enjoyable to do instead of just mindless equations. Schools should learn from stuff like this and maybe sometime in the future
A true master piece of Technical Minecraft. The amount of time, dedication and effort are truely stunning. You outdid yourself and this level of TMC is to be looked up to.
I've played minecraft for year and always wanted self sustaining tree farms. I knew that nether trees were the answer but don't know math or how to design. Many designs I saw were either too slow or need a bone meal farm hooked up to them to make them work. I'm a farm perfectionist, which is why your farm fits perfectly my criteria. This is the first ever video I've seen from your channel, but you earned a sub.
Nothing to say. You are the absolute god of nether tree. The farm is perfect, the math is perfect, the video is perfect, you are perfect. Thank you so much for your contribution to Minecraft technology.
I’m a data analyst and I dabble in data science. I’m blown away by the amount of work that you’ve put into this on the probability calculations and statistics. Reminds me of a big project I did this year regarding complex forecasting algorithms. I need to find myself a cool rabbit hole like this to fall into.
It is insane how people like you build "machines" like this, I can't even imagine how much time must have gone into designing it. Especially if you consider all the customization options and safety features. Respect man
This is of the quality you would expect of a masters or full blown research project, this is ridiculous. Hats off to you for everything you did with this project, absolutely phenomenol!
20:35 Flow chart. The more I watch this, the more I'm amazed by the design. I was using comparators facing into droppers triggered by two observers facing each other and it would only drop 8 into each composter at a time. I had 12 composters. I had to use 20 stem growing spots just to keep it going for a few hours because I wasn't getting the extra bomemeal from a roots farm! This is pretty amazing!
