  • Mike from ‪@ReelLifeWithMike‬ and i go out in search of a couple different fishing areas located in the city of Winnipeg. It was a great time catching different species with time to kill while visiting down south for a few days.

I see a lot of people fish north of the beaver dam a little closer to Saskatchewan or even under the train bridge there. There’s a mink down at that end so there must be some fish. The only thing is it seems like there’s a lot of overgrowth along the creek this year between Saskatchewan and Portage ave and it’s hard to get down there. Good luck fishing. Maybe we’ll see you out there one of these days!😊

@@staggontheline I’m sorry I don’t know. Unfortunately I cannot fish. I’m deathly allergic to fish. I just really love to be outdoors. We do a lot of camping and hiking. We take advantage of the excellent pathways up and down the creek. It actually saddens me to know that there are kids in Winnipeg that never get to see things like deer or hawks or even foxes that we see everyday. I’m glad to see you guys out enjoying our resources. It’s also really nice to see other families out there fishing together too. I’m enjoying your videos, keep it up.
