Jay, what a great video. I always feel like I'm actually there with you, that's how good the quality of your content is. I feel blessed to live in the province of Manitoba and have such great fishing everywhere, I hope it never gets lost on me.
A quintessential part of Canadian fly in fishing lodges is the deHavilland Beaver. Never pass up an opportunity to fly in one if you get the chance. Great video Jay! Thanks!
Your encounter with the giant Canadian pike is truly exhilarating. Your skill and perseverance in capturing such a majestic fish exemplify your passion for angling and respect for nature's wonders. Here's to more thrilling adventures. And I am Floating Village Life.
I'm from Wisconsin and my grandpa use to fly into to the north woods of Ontario and Manitoba for monster pike. Its always been a dream of mine to do it myself.
19:01 this supports my crazy idea to send hot water down to the bottom when ice fishing (propane shower with battery pump). I don’t know if it’s legal or if it works but I comes out at 130°F so I would think a 20” radius might be noticeably warmer to fish. Thoughts?
Jay you are one of the happiest guys on UA-cam . You should team up with kids fishing for a cure out of Selkirk . They take sick kids out fishing for a day . Did it when I was a kid was something I’ll always remember .
Absolutely awesome video Jay!! Love watching your videos. I want to do a fly in trip one time, that’d be so fun. The fishing looks incredible, that pike was sweet 👏🏼👏🏼
Jay I gotta hand it to you and Josh, I tried Catch & Cook Original for the first time on some Crappie a week ago and it was delicious. I have eaten plenty of fish and many many different coatings over the years. You guys have yourself a great product. The re sealable bag is really nice too, thanks for making our dinner that much more enjoyable 👍
I believe those are not lice, but scars from digging out mayfly larvae from under rocks. You'll see those scars on a lot of walleye if it has a rocky bottom, always right on the top of the head around and after the eyes.
I was there last year in June and it has to be the best big pike fishing and number walleye fishing ever. Super awesome place I’m definitely going again.
I mean he's fishing in 5 fow in a bay he planned to goto anyway. I think it's more for our entertainment than to find/catch the fish. He'd probably catch most of the same fish without it 🤷♂️ I use live scope and you fish most of the places you would anyway before you had it. It's just fun to watch them
This lake reminds me of when I worked at a camp in Saskatchewan. All there was was pike because they over ram the lake. We used to take kids out fishing on the barge and when they would reel in one, no matter the size there was always a bigger one chasing or latching on. Was so cool
Hey Jay, Love the videos. I have been following you for a long time now. Question. Could you please explain how you have your Livescope mounted with that clamp? Seems like a simple idea!
June first we went to Clark’s fly in fishing on Kamungishkamo Lake Ontario. We were taking baby walleye and hooking them and having northen come up and smoke them! Swallowed em whole twice
I'm glad to see pike are doing better up there.in the late 80s I can remember people letting large numbers of huge pike die for a few pictures or a visit to the taxidermist.
Okay so I was fishing at Lake Shetek on the same day when I caught that 21 inch 17:33 Walleye and a Northern Pike followed my jig head and I was using Fat Head Minnows and that Northern Pike snapped my line
Lvs32 stern mounted is worth the weight. Those boats aren’t fast so you can rig em pretty easy to read on plane. Huge factor for safely navigating new unmapped water. Worth it just for navigating safely.
It helped with the walleye, but definitely less of a factor for the pike. I think most important is having something that gives you the water temp on these northern lakes.
"I'm used to fishing with both hands -- I'm from WI". Not only is this accurate, it's necessary. We don't have any fish, so the best way to CATCH fish, is to get as many rods in the water as possible.
Great vid as usual, Jay.... A challenge for you from alberta... let's see if you guys can break 50 inches on Pike.... my p.b. is 51.75... so challenge issued....LOL... Keep at it... you have the best fishing vids on the tube. From my overtaxed/UNDERSIZED/OVERPRICED IGLOO ON THE MOUNTAIN IN ALBERTA CANADA 🇨🇦
Gee, you and Sam have been married 5 years already? Hardly seems possible that time has passed so quickly. Here's to 50 more years for you two lovebirds.
Wow! Sam’s Mom can Fish! And she raised Pretty Babies! The Only other Canadian Fella I know who married a Beautiful Blonde was a Guy named Justin Bieber. You should be so Proud! A guy could do worse! Great fishing video, JS. Well done, Y’all.
Love waking up to Jay, now I know how Sam must feel !
🤣
These videos just get better and better! This is how youtube should be! Looks like a blast Jay! Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
@JoeHollandFishing you're not too bad yourself
Uncle Mark is low-key funny as hell.

The bite is on, DH fly-in, Family, Beauty camp and great fishing! Makes me want to go!
“Blind casting” lmao. Back in the day we used to call that “fishing” put that thing away every once in a while young man
The lard is actually way more healthy than other oils, banger of a episode 😊
Lard or tallow is the way to go
Better than peanut oil?
100%

Remember the green wooden rowboats and oars, wooden plugs, Now that was fishing!!
😂 "this is going to be unfair". Love your videos, keep it up Jay!
Jay you are one of the happiest guys on UA-cam . You should team up with kids fishing for a cure out of Selkirk .
They take sick kids out fishing for a day . Did it when I was a kid was something I’ll always remember .
Those were some well built Ferry Rock pike! That looked like too much fun! Great video!
oh bro I have been on so many of those flights for work lol . Another awesome video! Thanks man, Cheers from wolsely
You’re the reason I got my dream tiller! More fly in for sure
Absolutely awesome video Jay!! Love watching your videos. I want to do a fly in trip one time, that’d be so fun. The fishing looks incredible, that pike was sweet 👏🏼👏🏼
Watching you and Aaron on youtube is getting me through a tough breakup. We appreciate the effort you put into these videos

I would bet there are 25,000 + moose bays in Manitoba alone :)
I believe those are not lice, but scars from digging out mayfly larvae from under rocks. You'll see those scars on a lot of walleye if it has a rocky bottom, always right on the top of the head around and after the eyes.
Interesting if true. Actually super cool.

Great video ,love watching you 👍
Great video. . I can't believe you did the Hot sauce. I thought you learn your lesson from the Winnipeg Ice Fishing show 😅
Jay is very entertaining and knowledgeable. Sam takes it to the next level.....haha Jay
Well I'm gonna be staying at Fairy Rock after watching that lol. Thats some bucketlist fishing right there.
What would Jay do without livescope what happened to just going out fishing I'm with Aaron
It is kind of pathetic and takes away most of the appeal/mystery. I hear you 100%

Gotta get me some of that "green flaracarbon"!
Great video. I was wondering what size of motor and length of boats you were using?
I caught a 25 lber in southwest Michigan. Once in a lifetime fish. Absolute giant for that part of the world. But numbers not like Canada.
As someone from Michigan that is crazy!
bro got more fish in less than 20 minutes than what I've ever gotten in 5 years of fishing 🤧😤
Great video Jay! How did you attach your live scope pole to the boat?
Great video jay
You should try a fly in lodge far north in Ontario it’s called makoop lake lodge great pike walleye fishing
Hey Jay, Love the videos. I have been following you for a long time now. Question. Could you please explain how you have your Livescope mounted with that clamp? Seems like a simple idea!
Hi jay been fan for a while
Just have to say I love your content
What an epic episode Jay‼️Incredible quality of fish there. What is your PB pike if those weren’t it?
June first we went to Clark’s fly in fishing on Kamungishkamo Lake Ontario. We were taking baby walleye and hooking them and having northen come up and smoke them! Swallowed em whole twice
This new camera guy has got some new angles I like
Jay, you are joking. Sam is the best thing you have in your life. She's a jewel.
I really need to learn how to catch pike, born and raised in ontario, and I think I've been able to land 5 in my whole life!
Hayden is killing it on the camera! Still don’t think he should’ve won that 3v3 hockey tourney in march though
see you at sail in oshawa, loved meeting you jay
Awesome videos jay, went out last weekend got skunked. 😅
Hey Jay, what kind of jig head are you using for those swimbaits? I am heading to Ontario in September for northern pike!
"There's the pike, get our jigs back."
Wish it was that ez :D
I'm planning on purchasing the portable Garmin live scope plus, I'm curious what pole mount are you using to mount and remove from any boat? Thanks
Mark's hooksets are satisfying.
Can you go through how you mounted your livescope for a boat like that?!
Love the vid! Keep them coming
What kind of trolling motor was that at the end of the video that you pulled off the side of the boat? Thanks
I'm glad to see pike are doing better up there.in the late 80s I can remember people letting large numbers of huge pike die for a few pictures or a visit to the taxidermist.

Nice video, do you have a link to the transducer pole?
Nice video, is there a link to the transducer pole?
This is peak Canadian fishing. What pike rods are you running?
Jay - can you compare and contrast a fly-in with and without live scope? I need to make a big decision here soon😅
Lvs32 stern mounted is worth the weight. Those boats aren’t fast so you can rig em pretty easy to read on plane. Huge factor for safely navigating new unmapped water. Worth it just for navigating safely.
Thanks Jay and Uncle Mark
Next destination….Lake Powell!
Mark mark mark, good man he is!
Love me some pike fishing !!...
😎👍☘️🍺
How big was that last one?
How much for the imaging?
Unreal how many fish you caught but I’m curious how many you would have caught with out the scope/fish finder
It helped with the walleye, but definitely less of a factor for the pike. I think most important is having something that gives you the water temp on these northern lakes.
Thanks for responding great video
Just yesterday I caught my pb pike at 31 inches and looking at it you would think it was smaller because of how skinny it was
"I'm used to fishing with both hands -- I'm from WI". Not only is this accurate, it's necessary. We don't have any fish, so the best way to CATCH fish, is to get as many rods in the water as possible.
I took it as one hand is for fishing and one hand is for drinking. That’s the proper Wisconsin way.
Randy told me too! Classic lol!
What livescope mount are you running?
"I'm used to fishing with 2 hands, I'm from Wisconsin" 😂 if that ain't the truth idk what is!
Great vid as usual, Jay....

Hi again I’m the guy you met at falcon lake
Gee, you and Sam have been married 5 years already? Hardly seems possible that time has passed so quickly. Here's to 50 more years for you two lovebirds.
Finally cookin with lard!!! It’s the only way
Nice video,
What’s your favourite walleye rod to use
I thought you broke your pike PB on Reindeer Lake coming back from Brochet?
It’s crazy to see someone in a puffy jacket and toque a few weeks ago when I’m sitting in my house with the ac blasting cause it’s 93° out.
Please put that you are using a livescope to catch fish. That way i can watch fishing videos, and for those who enjoy livescope can watch this.
Canadian Pike? Wooow the size of that thing
Can’t go wrong with a good old zuzuki 😂
100 walleye day !!!?> i just want to catch one fish jay idc if its a cat fish or carp just 1 fish ! thanks for showing us your lure !
I need to win the lotto and catch a big fish for once
Look up Jodie Comer. She's Sam's Hollywood doppelganger.
Never knew Uncle Mark was a fellow Wisconsinite.
Lmao you’re so right! Looks exactly like Sam.
Wow

I know how he feels with the hot sauce..... That stuff is ridiculously hot.
Hey jay make more pike videos in Ontario

Wow!
Sam’s Mom can Fish!
And she raised Pretty Babies!
The Only other Canadian Fella I know who married a Beautiful Blonde was a Guy named Justin Bieber.
