I like the fact that the CEO of Polestar was previously a Design Director. You can see whenever an engineer gets an executive position the business thrives. Whether this is AMD or Polestar. The days of running a big business with a Harvard Business degree is over.
Exactly. I agree with that you need an Engineer for an CEO. You see that also at Tesla. You don't need a CEO that has nothing with technology and design, because it will only focus on money. And that is short-term thinking. No connection with customers, no passion for going forward and giving the customers what they really want. (Yes, im look at German Electric cars..... they should really get rid of whole Volkswagen management)

Its a ridiculous statement to say that CEO's need to be Engineers since many Engineers know jack s*** about the holistic efforts it takes to run a business and to be successful. Engineers have specific skill sets and Business leaders have different skill sets that complement each other. For every Elon Musk there's thousands of Engineers with great idea's who thought they could go it alone and build something to find out that vision is only a piece of the pie. Elon had tens of millions of personal wealth to through at a project in the beginning and it took most of it to even have a shot at success. That's like saying that the CEO of an airline must be a pilot. Nope, actually, most pilots know jack-s*** about running an airline, but they know alot about flying a plane and vice versa.
Bright future maybe they certainly have to be alot quicker in getting new models out. Alot of if competition coming lucid air and other new startups and the old line car companies are coming too

Really fascinated at how you have taken the topic of sustainability and applied it to every aspect of the car, not just the fact that is electric-driven. Honestly Polestar, You should carry forward this design with only minimal changes to satisfy safety regulations perhaps. You have a true design winner here that's best left untouched when put into production. It's a very beautiful car. I especially liked the horizontal strips in the steering wheel on either side of the central logo. It really adds to the whole space-like starry theme of the brand; they are like comet tails on either side of the logo. Loving It!
Polestar is truly the vision of the future. This is how the future should look like, and this is how clean and simple engineering, design, architecture should be in the coming years. If only they can understand that the world is squeezing the middle class into poor class, and that not all of us can afford expensive cars anymore. I would guess that over 70% of the world have a budget not higher than $30,000 for a car. In all cases, I'de love to live in a world where masterpieces like the Polestar is the new normal in the world. Thank You

As a Tesla Model S owner, I’m glad to finally see a good entrant to the EV market. Helps legitimize EVs. Will help boost overall EV sales. This is slick. I’ll be curious on the price. I really like the wheels too. The screens certainly remind me of my Model S. They Taycan price and range are kind of a joke. Along with all those tiny screens. Glad polestar is using their brain and have a large central screen. Not sure about the buttons only showing up when hand is close. In my car, I look to see where the button is and then move my hand to that location. Hopefully there isn’t too much of a delay. But even with mine, can use voice commands for most things and the steering wheel controls for almost everything else.
Look, the Taycan was Porsche's eager attempt to break into a market they didn't understand. Its a good car, spec wise, the pricing and range do need improvement. I'm just here cuz the 1 was in NFS

Excellent, informative video. As a Volvo owner I’ve not been disappointed in the brand. My issue as with many if not most will be the type and power of the batteries involved in the launches of this Polstar day in and day out…period. Beautiful work of art…simply Beautiful.
I hope they develop such a harmonious sound generator as Porsche did with the Taycan. Especially with an EV, such a generator brings sportiness and safety with it, as it conveys a feeling of speed.
I loved this presentation. I hate that I didn’t see it sooner. It is so interesting that a design can make you reconsider what you wanted in life. This car is beautiful and I cannot wait to see these design elements throughout all of your cars.
One of my friends is a famous DJ and music producer. Back when TESLA first launched, I was extremely excited. I had always been a fan of electric vehicles and was happy about the rise of the Prius. When I posted about TESLA on Twitter and he insulted it. He said NO ONE would ever choose an electric car over a gas car. He basically said they were lame. Years later he shot hip hop video and they were driving around in a TESLA. Electric cars and expensive, luxurious and cool. TESLA and others paved the way to where we are now. Not many will own a Polestar, Tesla, Rivian, etc yet. But these cars are spearheading the new wave of cool electric vehicles. And once the price drops, all the people who were smiling at these vehicles and frowning at their because of their bank accounts will jump at the chance to own an electric car.

Precept looks to me like a good design rather than an unrealistic concept car. I hope this makes production. It has its own identity and a lot of clever answers to design challenges 👏🏽👏🏽
