Game 139: Ronald Acuna is UNREAL! He adds 2 more home runs to his total to make it 34 on the year. Olson extends his lead over Ohtani with number 47 of the season. Iglesias gave us a bit of a scare at the end but Atlanta ultimately came out with the win. Series against Pittsburgh next, lets go Bravos
I think Olson will get to 50. Doubt he can reach 60 because it's early September, but it will certainly be interesting.

The Braves overall looked great in this game. Acuna is just on a tear right now.
Also wanted to mention that Iglesias made this a lot more adventurous than I care for and that last out catch by Eddie made my heart skip a beat but he held on to it making a truly spectacular play, also these 16 second ads by YT are quite annoying.

It was too good to be true that the Cards would sweep the Braves. The fact it was close is astonishing considering how awful Waino is nowadays and how insane the Braves are offensively. Great series overall by the Cardinals!

As a Cardinals fan we woulda taken the series L if we coulda traded this one for a W for Waino. All we got this year left is getting him to 200 wins and he deserves it. GGs.

Nice bounce back win for atlanta, maybe a little scary at the end but glad atlanta gets it done. Lot of homers today as olson, harris, darnaud, and acuña homers not once but twice as he continues his marvelous season. Max Fried was solid for the most part, only that second inning caused trouble. It’s nice to avoid the sweep just to get back in the win column. Hope austin gets well soon. Pittsburgh comes into town for the weekend. Let’s go braves #ForTheA
Odd hearing our old friend Chip calling it from the Cardinals side but glad he's happy where he is and Brandon Gaudin is great 🤗
Finally, took 3 hours to upload these highlights, Max didn't have his best stuff but he kept us in the game, several takeaways from this one..........despite the Cards power display in this series the Bravos still out powered them 11-8 in homeruns, Acuna two HR's and Olson fourth straight game with a HR, Fried holding it down enough for his team to win, Spencer may be our power pitcher with the strikeouts but Max is our overall best imho and I anxiously await the return of Kyle Wright, anyway we have the Pirates in town over the weekend and I look for a little measure of revenge against them, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!
It's ridiculous how long it takes them... Any other sport, 30 minutes max. MLB, you might get your highlights that week, if your lucky smh.

In my 52 years of following baseball I don't believe I ever saw such a constant bad display of an ump calling balls and strikes, MLB should make this guy take a competency test to maintain his job.

Acuna is having a great season, but his teammate Matt Olson is also having a great year, hit his 47th HR (4th staight game with a HR) Olson might finish with over 50 HRs (set a team record) and 120 RBIs, hard to say Matt Olson is not the real MVP!

Acuna is in base so often he is the single most important RBI contributor. Without him many of the Braves other player RBI would be reduced by a third

Definitely a trap series for the Braves but still beyond me how that is possible losing it to these bums. I also believe Atlanta lost series to the A's and the White Sox. Just one of those things in sports.

Wainwright was the best matchup that the Braves could've had today.
I guess, but it isn’t like the Braves were begging for a easy win. Even if the Cards swept the series, the Braves would still be first in the East by a mile, and the Cards would still be last in theirs.

As a Braves fan, I really miss Chip Caray so it was nice hearing him during this.
I used to miss Chip, but I gotta say that I really prefer Brandon now. Brandon’s sarcasm and wit keep me laughing and his back and forth with Frenchie and Moylan cracks me up. Honestly now, I feel that Chip roots a little too hard against the Braves and it kinda irritates me.

@balbarith45 look at the NBA, NHL, and NFL. They upload their game highlights within 20 minutes or even shorter right after the game ends. That's the one thing MLB can't do

If there was ever a year for co-MVP's, this would be one... It's obviously going to be Acuna because he is truly outstanding, but it is quite an injustice to Olson with the prolific season he is having, along with the Braves all time single season homerun record
Agree with the post that Wainwright should have packed it in rather than go out there time and time again and get destroyed. Selfish and reflects poorly on him. What is worse is that management lets him embarrass himself. Wynn has not distinguished himself and should be in Memphis. What a mess.
