My niece lives in the Georgia Petworth section of DC, whenever I visit her, I go to Dupont Circle for what I like to call my Embassy Walk, because of all those embassies there.
I did my own walking tour past dozens of embassies. Very cool! I also went to a special exhibit at the Phillips Museum. It is one of my favorite DC museums, in a lovely neighborhood and with 2 attached buildings, one very old. The bookstores were fun, too. I want to check out the other placed you mentioned in my next visit!
Yes! We stayed at the Residence Inn. I would definitely recommend it. We walked to most places, including Georgetown. It was a lot of walking but dessert was enjoyed by all without gaining a pound!
I live and work in Dupont. I would also recommend The Lyle as a hotel option (full of Art Deco charm), Un je ne sais quois is hands down the best (and real deal) French patisserie in the city, and you can't forget the iconic Annie's Steakhouse on 17th-literally the heart and soul of the Gayborhood. Also, Mikko Nordic restaurant on 17th and R is unique and very, very good for real neighborhood cafe vibes.
We stayed at Royal Sonesta in DuPont last week from 5/31-6/6. Was such a great location for many things you mentioned. We tried La Pein, Tatte, BUL Korean Bar, Bagel Shop and a lot more! Thanks for your videos, we watched a lot of them while prepping for our trip.
Hi Rob! The video came at the right time 👍 Though I won't be staying in Dupont Circle during my visit but nearby in Logan Circle, I certainly plan to visit this neighborhood. Thanks for the recommenations! I'd love to see a video about Adams Morgan. From what I've heard it seems to be a cool place. If you plan to do so it almost certainly won't be done until my visit, but I'd have another reason to come again 🙂 Many greetings from Germany!
Your videos are always great. I visited the Phillips Collection on my recent DC trip and highly recommend it. Not too big and in a nice residential area.
If you are in DuPont Circle, don’t forget to check out this amazing gelato place called Dolcezza. It’s in 1704 Connecticut Ave. it is also a great place to get a cup of coffee.
Hi Rob, my family and I will be in town 4th of July week. Your walking tour is sold out. Any recommendations on other walking tours?? Thank you! Your videos are great!!
Im sorry if you've already answered this, but Im curious if you could do a short as to what's the best way to go to Embassy Row? Im going to DC next month and Im thinking about checking out Embassy Row! Im staying in Crystal City for a nearby event, but I have extra time and I never explored Mass ave! What do you recommend? No car of course, and I dont mind a metro trip! Thank you and looking forward to more great content!
Fair warning, more than half of air and space museum is closed. It was way too crowded and I would have skipped it completely if I knew how crowded it would be. Once again, legitimately more than half the museum closed and they let in the same amount of people.

Rob, you're a legend, sir. I look for you every time I am walking around the Mall. Cheers!
The Sunday farmer's market is also a great place to visit (although jammed)

Zorba's Cafe is one of my go to restaurants

I've had some tour guests stay at The Lyle and reviews were good.
I used to frequent The Big Hunt back in the 90's and 00's. So sorry to see it close a few years back.

Adams Morgan is a fun neighborhood. I may make a guide for it eventually!
@@TripHacksDC Sounds great, I'm already looking forward to it!

It's a nice little museum.
Thanks for featuring my neighborhood. I truly appreciate it.
Don’t think we went to any of those places on our last visit so I’ll add them to the list for our next visit. Thanks Rob 👍🏻
Sure thing, Jay!
Hi Rob. We tried Alero Restaurant last time. It was a fun Mexican restaurant in Dupont Circle.
Great tip 👍
The Fountain is very pretty, especially when the water is on.
I got lucky and the water was actually on when I recorded this 😂
@@TripHacksDC Great shot!
Great video Rob. Any information about 4th of July this year? We plan on staying in Logan circle that weekend
See videos and podcast from previous years. No major changes expected this year.

Good rec 👍
Great video! How come you don’t recommend that visitors drive in DuPont Circle?
