Because of your excellent channel, I traveled to DC (From Va Beach/Amtrak) in Aug. Georgetown was great! using the circulator bus from the Capitol Union station, the Call your mother deli was my first stop. I had a good seat down by the canal to eat my bagel. I had a wonderful day! Thanks, Rob!
Happy to hear it!
The Northwest quadrant is the only region of D.C. that I've seen in recent memory, as I was there in early-mid-June of last year, when visiting my cousin. I had previously been there on a field trip in 8th grade in late March 2012, though we never really saw Georgetown from what I remember. Nor do I remember visiting Penn Quarter, which I've also had renewed interest in.
I have been loving all of your videos!!! Moving to DC area in a couple of years so taking it all in😊
Nice! Good luck with the move.
This is a great video! Can you do one about the 14th street area? There's so much listed on Google maps I don't know where is good
Thank you for all the info. Will be visiting in May. This will help us map out where and what to do. Thanks!
Have fun!
Definitely I'd like to see more about the Wharf!
Thanks for the vote!
Great video Rob!!! Haven’t been to dc but your content is just making me want to book a trip soon!!!
Whoa. Cool!
Going the Embassy around the world in May. Would love tips on that experience and embassy row
Awesome! Learning so much from watching your video’s and Instagram posts! Thanks!
You're welcome!

So informative, Rob. Can’t wait to see Georgetown.
Enjoy!
Definitely would love to see more of these for next time I visit and want to consider different areas just outside of DC
Thanks for the vote!
I would love to see more of these videos! They are great! My family and I will be visiting in October and staying in NoMa.
Nice. Have fun!
This one Sunday I was going out to lunch with this girl and we drove in from Northern Va where we’re from. She had a list of places she wanted to try in Georgetown and she really wanted lunch. The problem is that a lot of places in DC have brunch Sunday mornings, so the person you’re with might not like that very much. I was dragged to about 3 other places (including Farmers, Fishers, and Bakers) that all had Sunday brunch before we finally found an Italian place to eat lunch (Filomena Restorante). Moral of the story: do your research before bouncing around places in Georgetown until you find what you want. You’ll have more time to do/see other things!
PS: Farmers, Fishers, and Bakers had a great ambiance and I’m sure it was a great place to eat. I’ll have to commit to going again some other day of the week.
cool
Georgetown is just too pretty. Everyone should check it out when visiting DC
Yeah!
One of our favorite spots near DuPont circle is zorbas cafe. They have great Greek food and not too pricey either.
Back in 1978-1979, I used to work at a building on the corner of R St. & Wisconsin Ave. That was the home office of the Chas. G. Stott Co., an office supply chain with a number of stores in the area. A block or so down Wisconsin was a French bakery/deli that had the best roast beef on a baguette - 45 years and I can still remember how delicious they were. Was just wondering if that still exists?
Georgetown is wicked beautiful. I took the DC Circular there from Union Station last year. I saw the Waterfront Park and walked to the Foggy Bottom Metro station. I also saw the Canal. I wanted to see Georgetown University as my cousin went there and I love College basketball , but didn't get to see it. I'm going to try God willing in October when I go to DC
Hope you can see it then!
Thanks Rob, great timing for me :)
Just booked a very long trip to DC (from Israel), in December, and a hotel in Georgetown (not Four Seasons this time).
Excellent!
Lived here for years and could never get into Georgetown Cupcakes. The line always wrapped around the building. I finally was able to try them this year by visiting their Bethesda location. No lines there at all. Nonetheless, great cupcakes!
Nice place …next year I will plan…thanku
You're welcome
Hi Rob, Can you make a video on shopping malls in DC area?
I visit the Old House like in 2019 and it was interesting and I love your channel and maybe we can do a video soon live from the Basilica of The National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

I thought the Apple Store in Georgetown was closed now?
It closed temporarily for a renovation and reopened.
