I’m 46, 4 1/2 years pp after my 4th kid and this is the best Pilates workout I’ve found so far! Doesn’t ask me to do anything my squishy abs refuse to do, but gives a great burn all over. Loved it.
5 days postpartum here. I've been doing your exercises till the big day (but with some weights mostly) - I am sure they induced my labour as I gave birth at 38+5 weeks to a healthy, 3.6kg boy. I have 5 children (including the newborn) and all of them were born at term or after term. Despite your advice, I can't wait for 4-6 weeks for a 'go ahead' from a doctor (being one myself anyway) - the amount of 'exercise' I do with all my 5 children (and work) is much more than any exercise routine. Hence I need to start exercising because my back is starting to hurt. This was definitely DR and back safe - thank you- it felt more like rehab than exercises - and that's what I wanted.
I was thinking the same thing with my 5! Just parenting and keeping my house sort of clean requires more than any exercise routine. It feels so good to do some gentle pilates and yoga in the morning or before bed! Good job, momma!
This is a great legs/butt workout! I love that it's no impact and no squats/lounges. It's great for tired days because it's all on the floor but still a good burn.
Did this a few weeks postpartum and it was so gentle, yet effective. Been having knee problems because of weak hips and this made my body feel more stable for the rest of the day. Thanks Jessica! More please! Love the floor Pilates workouts so much❤️
Amazing pilates. Am 16 weeks postpartum and Jessica's workouts has helped since I was 9 weeks postpartum. Kept getting interrupted by my little one but I did it
Thank you SO much for your videos. They always make me feel better, and my diastasis recti is almost nonexistent after a few months of religiously following your workouts and yoga. I appreciate that you make it a point to share when your videos are diastasis recti friendly, and/or healing (that’s actually how I found you)! You’re a game-changer in the best way possible. Thank you, again, and namaste.
Thank you for your channel, i love your videos, ive done a few over the last 2 months now and it seems to be working on my diastasis recti. My eldest is 11 and ive been living with this ever since, i thought its too late now to try and heal it but seems not, im feeling so much stronger and confident, my tummy is flattening and my middle is looking smaller, so HUGE thank you ... from South Africa
My youngest is two but the one before him is 12 going on 13. I am so glad I found this because I never knew what diastasis recti was and why I could never lose my weird pooch (mine is actually above my belly button). I hope I get good results too.
My first class back. 6 weeks postpartum and this class was just perfect 👌 can't believe baby gave me a full 18 minutes hehe. Thanks for the vid Jessica 💕🙏
Iv been doing your workouts throughout pregnancy and now 6 weeks postpartum and back using your videos to keep me fit and healthy thankyou these videos are perfect the length is perfect to can fit it in during baby naps 😊
Thanks for this great workout. My first work out since the little bubba arrived. I am 8 weeks postpartum and it felt good to get a sweat on. Looking forward to doing the other workouts ☺️
Hi, Love your videos. I’m 2m pp, and have excess of 15kgs mostly concentrated in my thighs area and mummy tummy. Kindly help me with effective exercises in your playlist. Where I shall start and go on. From which I can see results.
hello, love your videos, subscribed but not sure how to directly access the new videos in the youtube jungle. Advice please: I am 3 months post partum, in good shape, indoor cycling once a week, walking regularly. Which set of videos can I follow if I have 1 hour max per week to do some HIIT , strenghtening and pilates (kegel and deep muscle exercises) ?
Hi, I've done your workout today thanks a lot. Can you please explain though why the pilates press up exercise is considered safe in your opinion, and not dangerous like the plank? I just wondered if the mechanics of those 2 exercises are similar and therefore, if you avoid the plank then you should also avoid any other positions in which gravity wins over your tummy? Thanks in advance for your reply.
It really depends on what is sustainable for you, how much time you have and how often you are used to exercising. 2-3 x a week may be great start for some and others may strive for 5 x (for example)
Quick question- is it too much to do two of your pilates workouts a day? I love your work out so much and they are really challenging- but I’m wondering if I could do one in the morning and one in the afternoon to get stronger quicker. Not every day of course. But today I want to do two. I typically take 2-4 rest days a week depending on how I feel.
So I’ve signed up twice for the DR healing guide but I never receive an email & I kept checking my spam & still nothing! Is it possible to have it linked here for me?! I’ve no idea why that email won’t come through…
Love this video and I am 25 months post partum and still working off my DR from my twin birth. BTW, your pants look super comfy and extra high waisted- where did you get them?! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the video u r so lovely. My dream to visit Canada 🇨🇦and I wish to meet you, I'm 3yrs postpartum, had 3 kids over 10 years. I have 1 to 1'5 finger DR lose skin n mom pouch . Do you think I can do this advanced pilates or should I keep doing the beginners ones. I started only just less than 3 weeks ago, I had 4 fingers DR, it was closed up with belt was given at hospital. Love from Australia

@@PregnancyandPostpartumTV You're welcome ☺️.
This was intense, but I finished ✨
Hi, i love these workouts and i feel that my core is getting stronger and stronger. I do feel sore in my pelvis area after doing this. Is that normal?
Hi,

Hi Jessica thank you for these wonderful videos. I was wondering if the glutes are engaged as well during bridge pose?

Nice video again 😊
This was nice! Except for the pushups, I suck at those 🙈
Thank you! :)
The push-ups are hard! Happy Sunday ☀️
Glad i wasn’t the only one who thought that 😂

11 weeks post partum, first time trying pilates, I really like it, thank you very much. How many times a week should I keep this routine? ,😊🙏
It really depends on what is sustainable for you, how much time you have and how often you are used to exercising. 2-3 x a week may be great start for some and others may strive for 5 x (for example)
So good thank you

Does anyone have any idea whether it will help to reduce the pouch area left from the c section? X
postartum three weeks just finished this pilate ,i feel good but i dont know is it earilier to do this video😁

Not at all! If you have the energy and it feels good you can go for it! Especially if you have your rest days still in there!
This is ok for almost 4 weeks pp right ?
Hi! I had my 4th babe a year ago, still fighting the pooch…should this be done daily? Or how many x a week?
Kegal exercise video?
2 years postpartum and do knw if it will work?
I really enjoyed the exercises. Unfortunately you did not mention when to breathe in and out :( therefore I felt a bit insecure with some exercises
I'm 8 months pp & had my 3rd c section will this still help me
So I’ve signed up twice for the DR healing guide but I never receive an email & I kept checking my spam & still nothing! Is it possible to have it linked here for me?! I’ve no idea why that email won’t come through…
Hmm.. please send me an email to jessica@pregnancyandpostpartumtv.com and I’ll email it personally 💞

thanks! this was perfect (and my butt is on fire!)
It’s challenging! Thank you!
Whether this exercise can be done by one who has severe diastic recti and hernia who require an operation to heal it
Only your doctor or physio will be able to tell you with an assessment. If you are getting any bulging down the centre then no (if not, then possibly)
About how many calories does this burn?
