The face reveal we didn't asked for but never know we needed
Exactly my thoughts lol
@@ravenruppie96 Was about to comment on this LOL
I was like: WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT ELEVATED? FROM DOTA ALCHEMY? OMG
If only this video was posted during my silver days. Took me almost a year to escape.
A video I'll give to my hard stuck iron friend.
I got into silver 20 days ago and I'm about to get into gold with maybe 4 more wins. I'm probably gonna need to better myself soon because I feel a plateau coming after I hit gold, because in whatever games I've played with golds I have a negative K/D
@11764 JASHANPREET SINGH i was hardstuck bronze 3 for a whole episode(3act) bro haha
Hard stuck silver since october 2020
Mastering the guardian helps with tapping and moving. It makes me more focused knowing that I can't spray so I need to mobile and accurate
I'll consider this when I need to reset my aim again. Ty
Ive been tapping and standing still lmaoo. No wonder I get bodied at silver level. Its the worst of all three worlds.
1. You dont dodge the headshot with crouch
2. Youre still a sitting duck
3. The slow fire rate puts you at a disadvantage against sprayers
@@KayOScode yes bro, you need to constantly be on the move and only shoot as you counter strafe for precise shots
I feel like your the only guide channel that actually gives super useful advice and i gotta say your channel has helped me so much
He’s definitely not the only channel that gives useful advice if you think that then you’re only watching proguides videos
@@samshaw7087 could you list some, whenever i look for guides the search results are full of shitty proguides and skillcapped guides lmao
@@isafi6408 Sero and GGMediocre :)
@@samshaw7087 could you list some because honestly I really cant find any so i would appreciate it
@@tweee thank you
For a second I thought this was gonna be one of those click bait garbage pro guides videos but I never doubt u
Yeah, although it’s not like what he says hasn’t been said before, he articulates his points in a digestible and easy to understand way. It makes it much easier to apply it to your actual. Instead of saying, just learn crosshair placement, he states what, why and how to do it.
Proguides, skill capped, gameleap are total fucking garbage lol
This comment really said: “I doubted you, but I never doubt you”
@@atreusii7411 Gameleap isn't that bad
Ya ikr same lol thia guy omg
I really appreciate how simple and yet how in-depth and straight to the point this video is... Keep up the great work🙂
The problem for me with trying to only play one character is that i play with a group and i just fill in if we need smokes/sentinel/flashes
'Filling' best applies in mid to hi elo, but if its just silver and below (maybe even gold), team comp doesnt matter. Focus on yourself: learn the mechanics and fundamentals, aim with precision, and of course, master one agent's set of utilities.
You may not have the most meta in the next coming games, but in the long-run, you'll have mastered an agent that will adapt to any comp regardless
@@kenj2397 you need smokes in silver
@@nicholass5621 it varies. of course its always optimal, but playing smokes without knowing how to do it is just the same as playing without smokes. if you really want guaranteed smoker in the team, just main a controller
@@kenj2397 viper/brimstone kinda thicc tho
Finally we get to see a face reveal! Unless you have an old video that I haven't seen yet, haha. All jokes aside, great advice once again. I watch other guide videos but sometimes they can feel a lot to digest or too shallow to comprehend. Maybe it's the way you explain I guess that makes it sound easy. I personally watch your videos and FNC Boaster's streams when it comes to game knowledge like this. I came from Bronze now going into Gold, so your videos have definitely been helpful!
i’m learning so much from your videos lately. Been climbing up ranks a lot (from bronze 3 to plat 3 in 1 act) and still learn a lot from ur videos to be more consistent and just be better. Thanks.
Congrats on the climb dude!
@@ValorantAscended Thanks man :) honestly amazing how hard game-analysis is for me and u always make it super clear for me. U have talent for this.
bruh what how. Who do you main and how do u play? I was b2-b3 last act and I'm only s1 this act.
@@Wicked_Gaming_ idk it happens for me in
most games that im just bad for 3 seasons and then suddenly start improving, usually just suddenly a grow of gamesense
watching ur vids on gamesense and strategy on attack and defense has helped me so much and I have now climbed to plat 1 almost plat 2! thank u :)
I knew your voice is familiar! You're one half of the Dota Alchemy channel with Jenkins! You helped me gain thousands of MMR in Dota and reach Gold here with your vids. Great seeing you thrive here as well! Keep it up!
Yo elevated congrats man for your achievements making these great contents. I feel like we are on the same page when starting to play Valorant. Transitioning from dota to valorant for the first time was so hard for me and now i getting the rhythm. Im your fan since your dota contents and now im watching your valorant contents. You’re super cool and clever player. Keep on doing these educational videos! Congratulations again
Damn face reveal! Didn't expect that.
This video doesn't really only apply to val, rather, I actually find it more useful in league. The first tip about only learning one agent really is not me, because I play a champion and as soon as I play badly I immediately switch to another completely different role the next match, but now that I think about it that's probably the reason why I'm not improving at one champion. The bit about spray and pray also somewhat applies as well, because I usually do my combos and use my utility decently, but if I get surprised(ganked from the jungle) I find myself just spamming keys and I eventually die. Next match I'll try to stay cool, play only one champ, and be more methodical rather than panicking. Thanks for the great video!
I just found your channel and I might have stayed up a liiiittle bit too late binging your videos. Keep up the great work! :D
Very nice video, instant sub. Not many people can actually describe stuff.
I really miss the jenkins and elevated duo, it was 2 months ago that I realized that you were elevated, it's good learning valorant from the person that I learned dota 2 from
Man, just the intro made me think how big brain you are. I don’t know how you’re able to play half those games and still have space in your brain for Valorant. Then there’s me over here with over 10 days of Omen playtime and still managing a measly 7 kills.
This channel miles better than skill capped, proguudes, etc.
Ily this tips r insane now I can teach my friend s I agree 110 present I tell my friends all the time these tips keep up the goated content.
Ah yes the only Valorant UA-cam channel that actually gives useful advice :) this was a much needed video
yoo you're dota alchemy.. i myself came from dota 2 and carried the same mindset when starting this game. master 1 hero, master the map movements and learn to "last hit". thank you for the content man..
Been playing Valorant for 1 month and 22 days as of now. Coming from Dota 2 I think my main problem is my mouse grip which I just found out literally just 5 hours ago. In Dota 2 you really don't need a strong mouse grip so I got used to a soft grip. It's just my guess but I was so inconsistent with how I used to hold my mouse, either I overflick or can't microflick even though I practice range everyday, my muscles just can't get used to it so I tried a stronger grip and I noticed a significant amount of control on my aim and I hit shots more consistent. If anyone has problems aiming, you probably just need a tighter grip.
The one thing great about soft grip though is that I could play for hours and I barely feel any pain in my hand but with this tighter grip it's tiring and my hand hurts, probably not used to it yet. I hope it's worth the pain, will continue doing this and see if my aim improves.
I never take my time to comment on videos but as an old global elite and actual immortal while casually playing, with pretty good raw mechanics and advanced understanding of the game (more than average player atleast), this guy's advices are no bs, the examples he gave in the video to make you understand the point is really good, he also made me realize subtle things that I was dealing with ingame but couldn't make a simpler picture to understand and shift my focus mainly on what I need to improve as a better individual brain.
good content g really helped.
keep up the good work
OMG ELEVATED! I KNEW I RECOGNIZE THAT VOICE! I myself switch from Dota 2 xD. Love your content; learned a lot from it: on both game!
one thing you can do with the spray and pray one that I did was go to deathmatch and unbind crouch and dont worry if you die its just for practice and you can try and strafe in the range look for a clear wall and press d stop shoot a stop shoot and keep repeating
Even though I've been playing for over a year this is still relevant information for me.... I don't know if I should be grateful for Valorant Ascended or mad at myself
Finally, a guide that doesn't say the same thing that any other guide says
The guides from this guy always help, ngl
Glad you're doing well for yourself Donnie. I'll be with you on this new chapter
great videos man, keep up the good work! thx for the tips too.
Thanks man. Hardstuck silver here. Needed to hear that last tip lol
Great video but just wanted to say that one of the major difference in gun mechanic between csgo and valorant is that crouching does not affect the spray pattern. it makes you move slower therefore slower = less spread but it doesnt have any benefit compared to standing still.
I'd suggest to only really crouch in these scenarios:
1. Long range duel and youre trying to make it harder for your opponent to hit you (though moving out of the way and strafing would probably give you better results so its very situational)
2. Trying to hide behind something like a box so you can't be seen
3. Crouch under a trip wire
4. Crouch to take Cover
5. You can also crouch to mess up your opponents' aim (against better players) since theyre mostly going for your head but that means you are committing to kill them first so you can reposition, as said in the video its not a good strat but it is a possible strat but very situational because it doesnt help with spray at all
even as a plat player I learn something from this vid. Great job!
Yo, you r tht guy from gameleap. I have watched ton of your videos for Dota. Subscribed
your videos are so helpful thank you so much :)
Your channel always has the best tips and tricks and you are helping me so much
The thumbnail: Be Better
Me after reading the text in the thumbnail: I'm Aimbot
number 1 thing that i recomend to new players is to not play competitive at all first play unrated deathmatch and practice your aim in the range if you learn fast doing this won't get you hard stuck in iron
i say the same thing. do deathmatch to learn gun play and angles and spike rush to get comfortable with maps and abilities
I love your channel and get tons of value from your videos
The Patreon is a big step, way to go Donnie :)
Bad thing about practicing a certain agent is when someone auto picks it or when riot adds banning in valorant.
they not gonna add agent bans cuz they want everyone to play with their best, it's still a beginner friendly game, and being iron is much different than blaming raze or other agents for being broken af, I did this too when i was plat
they said that they wont add bans
that thumbnail is freaking nightmare fuel
number 5 is called counterstrafing when you move and stop moving to shoot then start moving again
Of all the tips you brought, I echo the most with the last one, I don't remember how many times I shoot first but miss the head because I am spraying. Eventually, I just un-bind the crouch key, that might not be the best way to learn, but, oh well.
I came straight from 1000s of hours of WC3 and SC2... With a bunch of mobile gaming before Valorant (played DotA from WC3 but skipped LoL)...
#4 is what is what I been having to focus on lately. Going from a team that wants to avoid all conflicts and rotate at least 3 times per round, to games where my team 'needs' me to die with them every round is something I've been figuring out how to deal with...
also putting in hours is different from actively trying to improve.
i see so many people say "i have 300 hours and im still silver" and thats because they play the game but dont recognise what theyre doing wrong and how to improve it.
thats how i went from silver to immortal in around 2 months :D (aim training helps alot as well)
This guy is a seriously good analyst, you guys should sub to him
Liking Valorant Ascended videos even before it starts has become a habit at this point
Holy hell, I also started in CS 1.6. After playing Valorant for nearly a year now, I only started with tip #5 just this month, despite me not doing the crouching sprays in 1.6 lol
Precise Gunplay
*Raze Mains* : We don't do that here
crouchspray bruh, paper 2 moment, this is what all the enemy skyes hear from me :D
the tempo is in my opinion the most important guide for teamwork
great work dude keep it up!
im super near from getting gold thanks to these videos, thank you so much man
nice video, I will definitely start playing dm with crouch unbound. also about the agent thing I do play in a 5 stack most of the time but when I duo queue or solo I cant exactly play jett all the time.
After 3 acts i got out of iron trying diff sens settings rly help :)
I'm in the same boat. I played 1.6 skipped all of CSGO and hopped on val, thanks for the tips!
For me, as a beta player the map learning is no big deal but what I found to be very important is playing ranked. A lot of players only play unrated until they "feel good enough to play ranked". That's a huge mistake since you will never feel good enough PLUS you won't improve when not playing on people better than you. In unrated you won't try as hard and will most likely match up against enemies as good as you or even worse.
So I guess my advice would be to focus on playing ranked and only using unrated to either test agents/maps/weapons/strategies or for warm-up. That way you will improve a lot faster.
ive only been playing for about 6 weeks and have watched lots of your videos. im already in gold 1 :)
As a dota 2 player and transitioning to valo my edge is my ability to use spells and my quick reaction to use the hotkeys
lmao it'll work against you most times. best to keep guns out in most situations. there's no "combo" so to speak, and the pull out of gun / spell is very slow
ELAVATED FROM DOTA ALCHEMY??? Who knew lol. Good stuff man
Wait what? Seriously?
Cheers for tip 5!
1:29 so thats where the instalock jetts come from...
I have finally see him
3:56 is this a website I can use? Or are you just a Premiere god, lol
in my low elo lobby i don't crouch spray that much but i caught myself doing it if I panicked. A lot of low elo players do crouch spray and sometimes when they do, my crosshair end up missing the headshot cuz they crouch.
i need unsee juice thumbnail brim will be in my nightmares
Nice Tips. Just started playing 2 months ago.
I'm guessing Sova's teammates forgot to drink their coffee that morning. Jesus!
informative! love it!
I literally unbounded my crouch key so that I don't spray and pray.
Mostly precise gunplay.
Me running around with the phantom getting headshots while moving.
The surprise face reveal sheeesh
Coming from early CS, the crouching is much much harder to unlearn god
Looking great buddy!
Yeah the problem with concentrating on one agent to master is that lets say u want to master jett, the chances of you actually playing as her is fairly low imo because everyone wants to play her. If you instalock jett its basically "illegal" and your teammates will give u shit for that
im loving the val content but im kinda new to this game. i came from mobas like league and dota.
Whats did you use to show the yoru garage plays at 4:00?
"Staying calm and steady when you do shoot is a lot more important [...]"
how did you do this and what app are you using? 4:11 I appreciate your guides thank you
1:13 you paid that brim to rush smoke into 4 dudes I have literally never seen a Brimmy do that shit ever
Every *valorant* player needs to know. Not everyone else that doesn't care about it. If you dont change your title you will be publicly shamed in front of millions of people.
Trust me
every time I shoot someone my hand just freezes and my agent stays still and I get killed when I don't dink them, how can I fix this and or improve my movement?
The thumbnail… brim with no brim.
another day goes by and another great vid by the homie Ascended, also we get a face reveal that I didn't know I needed :0
is there a way to counter a fast tempo attack. i cant predict where the other team is going and they 5 man rush one site and my team gets rolled
Which site were you using?? To explain the maps?? 🤔
I had to complelty unbind my crouch key for a couple weeks to unlearn the habit it was horrid
Thank you for your videos c:
man you are good . Respectx100

should you aim train before or after playing?
Good Video This is probably why im bronze 2 right now

this is like the common sense that needs to be taught
What do I do when my team wont push and keeps baiting me? Im a sentinal but often I find myself being the first one in because everyone hides
thank you bro
me and my friend trying on 1v1 and im experimenting who is the most winner of spraying or tap strafe shoot, the result is the spraying win a lot neither vandal or phantom, what to improve now cause i get the most result for spraying than tap strafe should i improve on decision making or training in aim lab?
