Just silly. The Vulcans placed a "gate" in an asteroid field that dense....THEN PROCEEDED TO FLY THROUGH IT...REALLY? And then the humans show up and board it without getting it out of the field first? Really? These are the actions of incompetence. No. No one would act this was.
@@valensigmund1957 of course it was because like all new ST faff (a real word) anything new is enlightened. It wouldn't surprise me if they had actually considered a crossover. It wouldn't dawn on them that "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away" would be an actual impediment to the story.

I commend your team on imagining this crossover. When the music shifted to Babylon 5, the tension mounted. I'm glad that the Earthforce vessel rendered aid to the distress call. Was it just me or when the Vulcan ship is in the hypertunnel, there appears to be a Shadow Crab just above and outside of the tunnel matching their speed? approx 0:37 to 0:39. edit: I see from some other comments, some have also seen it.
I’m new to B5 lore but around the 37 second mark you can see a Shadow following the Vulcan one. Probably did some shady shit to them before they exited warp.
It is illogical that the Vulcans would not put their Shields up as soon as they came through. It's also illogical the Vulcans would be not using their warp drive instead. It is logical to assume that the creator of this video has a bias towards Babylon 5
Models are great, love the Shadow vessel, but why on earth or vulcan would anyone put a gate in that spot? There's a LOT of empty space to put it in, doesn't have to be in the middle of the densest part of an asteroid belt.
The graphics are almost fun/good enough to accept the idiotic premise of Vulcans not simply navigating up or down a few km to exit a the asteroid area/belt/ring never mind even trying to reconcile Stargate and babylon
We're testing an entirely new technology, so let's send through a shipful of people into the unknown, rather than a cheap drone. Got to admire those brilliant Vulcans!
you know, traveling through hyperspace is like traveling through a dream. I do it all the time. you dont always know where you end up, it might be in the middle of an asteroid field..
Nice overall but how were the Vulcans expecting to get back? Doesn't seem very logical to do a blind jump into unknown conditions least of all with a crewed vessel. Now for the real question is that Earth Alliance ship supposed to be a post Interstellar Alliance replacement for the Hyperion Cruiser like the Warlock replaces the Omegas?
StCreed • I hate to think I'm pleased that blind, inattentive, or both, but the only other ship(s) I saw in the clip were Babylon 5's EAlliance frigate from 'The Battle of the Line " time period, and a standard unarmed space/atmosphere shuttle common to the EAlliance, Centauri Republic, Narn, and probably almost every Nonaligned World in the B5 Universe. Only the Minbari and Drazi apprared to have their own designs (can we say "Definite SciFi Geek!")
Ok, let me get this straight. The Vulcan's whose technology was at least a thousand years more advanced than humans could not compute a safe path through an asteroid field on a science vessel but the less advanced humans managed to plot a path to rescue them. Does not seem consistent with Star Trek lore. Nice graphics though.
Seeing the Vulcan ship I would expect it to be from the Enterprise era. And seeing the EA warship, I would expect it to be either around pre-Dilgar war era or sometime during the Interstellar Alliance.
Seeing as there's no atmosphere in space, there's no need for aerodynamic shapes or wings. The easiest and most efficient shape is surely a cube or oblong?
The star fury wings aren't for aerodynamics, they aren't actually capable of atmospheric flight at all. The wings are there to put the engines further out for more maneuverability. The shuttle is designed for going into and out of atmosphere. The purely space based shuttles are basically just rectangles

Not very logical.
It was a planet who was destroyed. The gate was there before the event and the vulcan ship do not know about this.
It was a planet name Alderaan.

So nice of Earth to help out the Vulcans

I was thinking exactly the same lol
You mean Spider Ship? lol

Good catch.
Yep, it's there...and WAY bigger than the Vulcan ship
@@420WILD 600 v 1500m
Yes, it’s a shadow crab ship following the Vulcan ship.
My question is this, Why didn't the Vulcan crew put up their deflector shields as soon as they came out the other side and saw the astroid belt.
Is this Babylon 5 and Stack Ur Treks fusion'/???
Shields doesn't work in the B5 Universe. Watch Star Wrek In the Pirking Star Trek/Babylon 5 parady movie.

It's soooo easy. Get Blender (free) and do your own story, then I'll come critique it. HANL.
I agree, highly illogical.
You might want to put it there to make it more difficult for someone else to get to it.
Doesn't make sense.
I love the hidden Battlecrab
Not very logical of the Vulcans placing their second gate in an asteroid field like that. Or not having another vessel present for their arrival.
I was thinking bad thoughts for a minute but i was wrong. Thanks.
?
I was also worried, since Earth Force doesn't have the BEST reputation when contacting new races.
Awesome job and artwork
Keep it coming?? I love it!!
I saw the conclusion to this on my 1of now four. Even separated each makes a story in itself. Good 👍 stuff !! Thanks again!!
Great stuff. You are a man after my own heart. Tunnel FX is a great asset!

@@SpacialKatana ahhhh, looks great. I use Kronnect's Tunnel FX2 in Unity. I think it has four layers and a bunch of options to tweak. Cool stuff.

Beautiful graphics, silky plot. Getting hit by a random slow morning asteroid is inane.
The asteroids keep bugging me however. That is absolutely not what an asteroid belt looks like in reality.
How did they get the hypering there to begin with
that vulcan ship looks similar to the orville!!!

Very nice, I like it!
Thnx.
I thought it was a repair ship at first. If not, put that thing in a tractor beam. It costs too much.
Vulcanised ship tend to bring the warp ring inboard when a sunlight speeds.

Seems lunatic to have a gate come out into an asteroid belt but what do I know...

How did the exit jump gate get built ?
As soon as I saw the fighter craft I knew.
I hate it when that happens.
¡SHIELDS UP !
Red Alert !!
A jump gate into a m asteroid belt , not very wise on the vulcans now is it?
When did the Vulcans cross over to the Babylon 5 timeline/ universe?
Apparently, they did it in this video.
My question is, Who's bright idea was it to put the warp ring in an asteroid belt in the first place?
This probably wouldn't have happened if they hadn't put T'lyn off the ship. After all, she is Vulcan as a motherf*cker.

Taken as compliment as this is primarily an anim channel, I don't give two fucks for ST lore, the same as its writers.
In this video, we see elements of "Star Trek," "Stargate," and "Star Wars" (the X Wings). I guess the stars were in alignment😉

Why aren't the navigational deflectors repulsing the asteroids. Surely the Vulcan captain didnt forget to order them activated?

Good question. There is the possibility that the asteroid field might have been a planet
