@@vybz6502. The dinosaur was quite amazing. The texture was so great. I sat…wrong walked there for a while, trying to look in the dinosaurs mouth.
Don’t get me wrong. This is the first gen iOS is buggy, and then it takes some time to train your brain to The new IU.
I do believe that when you start watching some of the vision 3-D movies the first part of the movies buffering so you don’t get full detail and you sit there wondering is it really 3-D?… but after a few minutes, it catches up.
Now we wait to see who actually has money and who THINKS they do because they have "blue bubbles!" 😂😂😂

@@christopherbrunson1232 Mercedes wont gives you less than Kia, Vision PRO have worse FOV + no controllers + external battery + no gaming content which is VR main selling point......
They are very different devices, instead of comparing visionpro to oculus I think its more comparable to AR glasses

I have both and they are not even in a same league. Vision Pro is just better at almost everything: passthrough, display, interaction, UI, eye tracking, immersion, etc. except maybe on price (for some people).

@@GreenBlueWalkthrough This differentiation exists everywhere from cars to cameras. Why spend $10K on a high end mirrorless camera and expensive glass when you can use a phone ? Why spend $100K+ on a car when a Corolla does the same thing ? Why do audio and videophiles spend insane amounts on gear when you can just use your laptop ? Can say the same things about designer clothing, handbags, shoes, watches, etc. Why spend $40K on a Rolex when a Casio does the same thing ? Honestly, whenever the difference seems out of step with the price to you then you're not the target market.
I own both the Meta Quest 3 and the Apple Vision Pro, and I find distinct uses for each that justify their place in my tech arsenal. The Meta Quest 3 serves as my dedicated virtual workout companion and PC VR gateway, somewhat akin to a PlayStation 4 that's been ingeniously designed to fit your face. Interestingly, my 11-year-old daughter has become the primary user of both the Quest 3 and my PlayStation 5, showcasing its appeal to younger audiences.
On the other hand, the Apple Vision Pro offers an experience comparable to having a MacBook Pro right before your eyes, excelling in tasks you'd typically associate with high-end computing. During a recent visit to the Apple Store, I had a captivating experience with the AVP. I was drawn into a game of Battleship, controlled intuitively with my gaze and hand movements, while simultaneously enjoying a 3D Star Wars movie. The ambient brightness of the Apple Store only enhanced the immersion, turning an hour-long wait for a fit test into what felt like mere minutes. The device's ability to adjust the blend of virtual and real-world exposure via the digital crown is brilliantly executed, offering a customizable experience that's unparalleled.
For gaming enthusiasts, the Meta Quest 3 is the go-to choice, offering a vast library of games and controllers with buttons which the AVP lacks. However, if you're looking for a multifaceted device that integrates seamlessly with the Apple ecosystem, enabling hours of diverse activity akin to using an iPad or MacBook Pro, the Apple Vision Pro could be a compelling addition to your collection. I find myself never wanting to watch a 2D TV again if I can help it as it is just better to watch inside the AVP in every way.

If you are interested in gaming I would go with the Meta Quest 3. Apple has never been known for their gaming prowess hence why next to my MacBook Pro sits a windows PC for gaming :)
Could the purchase of such a first generation product maybe also be regarded as a financial investment? I assume for example a iPhone 1 could be worth quite a lot these days for collectors.. but maybe I’m wrong and just trying to find a reason to buy one despite the hefty price point ;) thanks for the great review
What about the picture quality? hdr quality? brightness? can compare with flagship OLED TV(G3 S95C A95L)?
Compared to those TVs no. But it's very good image quality

Image quality is top notch. The pass through isn’t the best, but watching movies in Disneyplus and Apple TV you won’t be disappointed.

Vr headsets are not something you will be using constantly. Im sure that wow phase will eventually fizzle out and the VP will mostly collect dust
I am sure that the competition will heat up with Quest, and it is working on a Quest Pro 8K eye tracking product with a powerful processor to compete with the Apple Pro. This is a beautiful thing.

Based on my experience, the Apple Vision Pro's presence becomes virtually unnoticeable with the Solo Knit Band, especially after some initial adjustment period. Having been immersed in the VR world since 2015, I've witnessed firsthand the evolution from bulkier, heavier headsets to the sleek design of the AVP. This historical perspective might explain why the AVP's form factor doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's likely Apple included two different straps to accommodate varying preferences and comfort levels. Indeed, I spent several hours using the AVP with the Solo Knit Band just yesterday and experienced no discomfort whatsoever.
I am quite surprised I haven’t got motion sick yet i used to play heavily video games and VR back in the day, but for some reason I get motion sick very easily now

I am not sold on this at all. For $3500, I know I can build a decent gaming PC if I need something to have fun with at home.
For your use case I would build that PC. If you already have that PC like me and you want to get some work done and be immersed in movies and such then the AVP is worth every penny.
Bro the Apple Vision Pro is a 8K headset as the measure the headset by each eye and then double it sonthe Quest 3 and Playstation VR2 are both 4K headsets and Apple will have a very big challenger in the immersed visor which apparently has a higher resolution looks like a pair of glasses and can be bought fornas little as $400 with a subscription and $950 without a subscription so I am going to get that instead
No. 8K is 33 million pixels, this is 23 million.

In previous reviews, they said you couldn't take the cable out of the battery bank. But seeing you do, it means good news. Cause you can actually plug it into a decent battery. A battery, the size of the one apple gives. You should have 10000 or 20000 milliamps.

Unless you are buy a bigger battery from Apple. It uses a proprietary larger lightning cable connector

I can't wait for your video as I don't think people understand that the Quest can actually do Mixed Reality games and apps very convincingly
There are not that many mixed reality games out that are worth playing, but the mixed reality with the AVP is way better as it is a lot easier to walk around in the house and even outside the house while using it than the Meta Quest 3 is.

Yeah I was, and they things that blew me away are still there. The weight bothers me the most. Trying the 2nd strap. But I am giving it the weekend
You will get used to the weight over time. I had this issue back in 2015 with the heavy and bulky headsets of those days... I have spent hours in the AVP and do not notice the weight at all. I have only used the Solo Knit band and it has been so comfortable that I have not even used the double strap one.
