- Apple Vision Pro is GOOD for Gaming!
Today we are trying & testing many different games on the Apple Vision Pro, including Super Fruit Ninja, Palworld, and more!
#Apple #AppleVisionPro #VisionPro - Наука та технологія
GTA 6 and Vision pro would be sick
Will be possible with Steam Link probably
@@Wynnsanity Or maybe an Elgato or other HDMI capture card on Mac.
@@Wynnsanity PlayStation remote play
Not possible bcz it needs so much power and graphics tech even apple m3 ll not able to handle it
@@nandhu6327 stream it with no latency with your PlayStation with ps remote play app
The one thing I think is weird given the ridiculously high fidelity is why didn't Apple put out something that really shows that off from a gaming perspective like a Half Life Alyx level app. It doesn't need to be a FPS, it can be more a cockpit type game, like flying in space or driving a rally car. That's the sort of stuff that blows people away...plus they can sit.
im sure 3rd party developers are working on stuff like that for the vision pro
@@groundstark2 it needs to be Apple doing it directly or them paying a 3rd party to do it. Relying on a 3rd Party to build your brand new system killer apps because they think it'd be profitable would be a disaster. This is a $3,500 VR system, not an iPhone.
@@andrewshandle it not marketed as a vr system and why do you think an App Store exists and name one app made by apple on the iPhone that’s a killer…. All the good apps are already 3rd party
Apple hardly seems to if ever do that. They don’t bring 3rd party developers at all. I’m beyond excited for Steam compatibility.
I don't half life would work with hand tracking. Vision pro needs controllers
Omg Finally i can't imagine YuGioh in Vision Pro
Look at Demeo VR , it's kind of...
or bakugan
Yoooooooooo that would be crazy
And pokemon
Dude, gaming in vision pro is no different from normal gamin, its just a floating monitor. The things you want you can already do it in ACTUAL VR like quest
Those Ninja fruits really messed up the room 😂
For no vision pro are taking all the app and hale from the méta store, AVP is not made for gaming at all
I heard about that game 20 years ago. It was called Super Smash Bros. Still is.
And brawlhalla
You gotta try a horror game Wynn 😂😂😂😂 I will be fun I think
Super informative video! Is there a way to move your ringlight out of the frame? Great work!
Not really my studio is small lol
Great video!! All of these games look pretty sick like this! Definitely transforms the experience 🙌🏾
Avp is not made to play, better take a metaquest, more than 800 game like assassin Creed VR , red matter 2 , resident evil 5 VR etc
Wynn’s gaming skill is unmatched 🔥🔥🔥
This looks absolutely awesome 😮
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone play synth riders sat down before.
Can do the same in quest 3 minus the resolution
The Meta Quest 3 has xbox gamepass and can be played with any controller
Love the video always so dang entertaining
It isn’t though. You’re better off with a Quest 3 for seven times less money.
Wow. Great video, thanks for the insights! Also that game is called SuperSmashBros, or at least the original one was and still is called that.
It's Cool And All But My Quest 3 Still Got A Edge On It!
What edge is that ? Genuine curious as I’m interested in the quest
Except the resolution is way worse
@@alexzandermanning6094look up videos on it. You can do far more on a quest video game wise. It’s actually amazing and looks so real
@@alexzandermanning6094 Outside of VR games because that's what it was made for, the ONLY thing it does better is the price and literally nothing else.
So you can't even do the basic maths. Let us help you, Quest 3 has about 2000x2200 display per eyes, what us 4,4million pixels, so less than 9million pixels in total, but the Vision Pro has 23million pixels, that is 2,5x better resolution... so what things are better on lower resolution? Because games and movies are better with higher resolution...
Can't wait for AVP to be able to track feet as well. That will open up lots of possibilities.
Good review. Real and no fake. Keeping up the good work.
“Avoid slicing bombs” *swings at the first one he sees*
Apple says avp doesn’t support Bluetooth mice. Was your mouse just connected to your PC as it was in same room? Or were you able to use it with AVP. This is important as PC could be too far for Bluetooth if in another room
Connected to the mac
I really love people getting into VR. for the first time. Your mind would be blown on what the best Quest 3 can do.
Apple is best
quest 3 is like Tiles vs Airtags. Nokia vs iPhone. Intel vs Apple Silicon. wired earbuds and many bluetooth earbuds vs airpods pro. watches vs Apple watch. and so on
@@PSy843/4 years ago on old VR headsets (before the Quest 3) we had HL:Alyx ua-cam.com/video/O2W0N3uKXmo/v-deo.html I'm not seeing anything even remotely close to it on the Vision Pro and that's an old VR game. I guess slicing fruit is where it's at.
@@Jai_hind1947Apple is overrated and overpriced. The meta quest 3 do the exact same thing but for 500$.
You're just a Apple fanboy who discover technologies only by Apple technologies 🤷♂️
@@AdrianSanchez-lu7uoOk Steve Jobs 😂
Is any flight simulator app compatible with Vision Pro?
I wonder if the iPad app Moonlight would work for streaming PC to the Vision Pro? You would need Sunshine running on the PC but unless the developer has disabled it for VP, that would give you better streaming than steam link, and you can use all games and you PC desktop not just steam.
You never disappoint ❤
No Unreal Engine VR? Thats the newest hottest thing. You couldve played Palworld in first person VR. You can hold your fire fox guy and use him as a flamethrower in VR first person
Csn you share a video on it! Thanks :)
Plenty of VR already. Apple needs to stick with AR, which has nothing so far and is a much better way to play games imo.
@@tlothompson6935 Better way to play games? its just a floating monitor thats cap but i agree that apple should stick with AR
This is actually next level and runs a lot better than I would've thought! Great vid :D
I get where you're coming from if you're not a VR person but do a search for Half Life Alyx Trailer (a 4 year old PC VR game) and see what VR could be with the Vision Pro if Apple allowed it.
Amazing video. Thanks for showing us!
Now I'm seriously considering going broke for this Apple product.
Wait, even if it's just a couple of months. The excitement is crazy high right now but the reality of what its useful and fun for will become clearer as early adopters get over the novelty value.
@@LivingMidnight you are right. Also I would say wait a year if you want to buy. Because right now it doesn't look that useful. Most of the games he played weren't completely VR. He was still playing games on a computer inside VR. Same as we would normally do.
Wow.. You playing flash party. I played the game last 2 years. Really a good game ❤
We need more of pal world gameplay from the Vision Pro
Bruhh look like these people never known about Quest3 or those VR in the market.
On Quest3 you need controllers, here you dont them unless you play games from outside, so it is completely different.
it's game. some game doesn't need it. Using controller is better then using your finger like playing in mobile phone.
quest3 has hand tracking@@giancarlo4154
and that prove his point cause Quest 2 and 3 doesn't need a controller there is hand tracking which has better response then vision pro especially when you move your hand faster also quest 2 and 3 games are way more immersive and better in almost every way then apple vision pro I don't think apple can do much because there is no controller to make you feel stuff and it is not a full VR headset it is only AR stuff @@giancarlo4154
Can you try Ps Remote Play for Mac on the Vision Pro? Like you can play Ps5 games on in.
Does it provide full side view area ??
What was the controller u were using?
I don’t understand, what’s the point of getting this if there are no VR games. Atleast no point for gamers to get this. If it’s just a flat screen for most games then isn’t it better to play on something like a phone, laptop or tv. Spending $3500 on this isn’t worth it right? I’ve a Quest 3 and I do agree that Vision Pro has better resolution but you can do mostly everything on it with the Quest 3 as well. And plus the Quest 3 has an enormous library of VR and AR games. And Quest 3 is considerably cheaper.
I was kind of cracking up over his reaction to the cheap Synth Riders knockoff, like better experiences haven't been available for years now on other devices. Plus the lack of controllers means the tactile control methods like sabers and guns is pretty much impossible on the vision pro. Apple isn't focusing on games because they know they've handicapped themselves in that arena. $3500 for a laggy big screen TV just isn't worth it.
And I seriously doubt the people asking about gaming on the device were nearly as interested in its ability to act as a virtual screen.
@@adseigo Yes you’re absolutely right. I guess it’s good for working but still Not worth $3500. Having no controllers is a big con. They should’ve atleast included optional controllers to use when playing games but I guess that’s pointless since there are absolutely no VR games in it. It lacks the basic functionality of a headset.
There are no VR games “yet”. This is a 1.0 product, games will definitely start popping up as time goes on. Just like when the first Oculus was released, there were VERY few VR games available for quite awhile, and most of them were crap.
@@WolfsToob Except the controls aren't tailored towards popular game genres. You can't even make a playable Beat Saber for the thing. Twitch controls just aren't possible and developers aren't going to port over anything that requires a controller, which is most of what VR/AR/MR has to offer. Even their simplified version of Fruit Ninja doesn't play very well. It's just not a great platform for gaming.
Why is there zero talk on something like existing Steam VR games for Vision Pro? I assume they don't work yet, but I'm curious why, as they can work on the Vive, Quest and so on. Wouldn't that be the number one question about gaming on the Vision Pro?
Because apple doesn't want people using the AVP for VR gaming, its not optimized to do that its more about the AR. If we are talking about just VR gaming the quest is sooooo much better.
I was hoping someone would have made a video like this! I wonder how it would work for native VR games though, could it just act like a gaming vr headset it that case?
Also, I noticed you got some black borders while playing Palworld, what's up with that? Shouldn't the hologram screen just adjust itself to the game's resolution? Think it's because of Steam Link?
The black borders are because "Steam Link" is from the iPad App Store, so when it runs the app it literally has the ipad aspect ratio. Running a 16:9 game on a 4:3 screen causes the bars. Hopefully we get a Steam Link app developed specifically for the Vision App Store!
If I remember correctly Flash Party is made by the same devs who made T3 Arena that's why it looks similar in style. It was first released on TapTap exclusively like for testing I think. I think it was released before T3 not 100% sure tho (forgot the date lol). In playstore it released after T3 but it was available to play before playstore release.
A great take on that review! I'll wait for 2026... I guess i two years we'll get a better experience, hopefully. For the moment, I can't see how this workflow can speed up my working process...
You should get a lapel mic for these videos
Since when you've to look at your controller to use it tho.
cut price in half and put 120+hz and i would consider one.
Also, the M2 is just way too slow to run games properly, especially at that resolution (as you can see even the low graphics indie games there are stuttering like crazy).
I aint speding 4k for that sht
Broke ahh
It's trash... For $500 get a quest 3 and use the remaining money to get a rediculous PC to connect wirelessly to from the quest 3 and voila, can play every amazing vr game and app in existence - and let me tell you, VR is there now with the best graphics cards (which I do have). The games look mind blowing good.. It's easy to forget you're even playing a game sometimes it's so awesome and only gonna get better and better... While Apple dorks walk around with a ski mask on their face thinking slicing fruit in their living room is something cool 😂😂😂
So you can't play the palworld VR version with the vision pro. Just the desktop version via steam link. That's a bummer
Thank you for showing this before I buy!! I was very concerned with being able to play steam games like call of duty on the Vision Pro! :)
If the Vision Pro ends up supporting Steam VR games then that would be a big feature that's currently missing.
@@LivingMidnight Yeah, although for the slight advantages OLED brings and the minor bump in resolution it's definitely not worth the insane ask of an extra £3000 over a Quest 3 but I'd still like to see it.
what about ps5 remote play? through an ipad or mac app
so... you're basically playing on a 2D screen in a 3500$ "spatial computing" device? And you're excited about that? Dang - Apple is marketing genious!
It’s unmatched, then these guys lie… I mean “omit” pertinent information like fov, actual vr/mr, pass through ect.
Not everything needs to be vr
@@theclassicgamer20But it’s a VR device 😂😂😂😂 no matter how Apple spins it, it’s a damn VR headset. What is wrong with you Apple people?
Insane!!! Imagine if apple create an ai model and integrated it to siri and put it on apple vision pro!!! Bruh that kinda feels like Iron Man 😊
That sounds possible
Definitely need haptic feedback gloves for games
Hand and arm tracking is great on the AVP, but it lacks one vital component: Haptic feedback, so in that Synth Riders game when you are riding the rails, you are supposed to feel vibration as the balls grind across the rails, and you feel a thump everytime you hit the balls, and you feel nothing when you miss both of those objects. and feeling nothing is what you get from AVPs lack of controllers, which are the one's that provide the haptic vibrations when touching those elements. Quest 3 for the win.
Maybe i missed it, but how much hz does it have?
I play codm call of duty mobile is it worth getting just asking if you can play that app on thrre
if you have a quest download contractors. It has all the COD maps on it and Counter Strike maps
A sensing suit will make u feel the objects.
This will be the most portable device for gaming, even better than mobile/handheld console. Can't wait for this going cheap in the future
This is too cool! I need one.
Hmm, I think you can connect your ps5 through the remote play app and be able to play your ps5 games on a vr screen. That be sick
tried steam on different headsets & it wasn't good quality as flat screen. is it different on vision pro?
it should be cause the resolution is really high on Vision Pro.
Very
A 4k oled for each eye. Take that as you will
Also psvr2 is OLED 2000*2040 per eye with 120hz refresh rate, but I wasn’t so amazed from quality.
How big u can expand the screen????
does the mobile GTAs work?
Can you launch Xbox remote play on Apple Vision Pro?
What about tv and movie streaming apps?
we made a simple puzzle game special to avp : shape vision: mind's odyssy (yes the name was choosen by chatgpt, we do not have marketing yet)
thanks for any feedback including how it looks in the store (we are not us based, so we don't own yet a headset, next week maybe)
I would love to see some kind of device that can hook up to the hdmi for something like a home console and allow for a “mirror” to the Vision Pro! Someone needs to get on that
Hopefully they'll be able to Cast to TVs in the same way the Quest 3 does.
The FOV of the AVP is only 90-95 degrees. The Quest 3 is already at 110 degrees. The first game reviewers warn that it is absolutely not suitable for gaming because the hand tracking lags when moving quickly. Everything also feels very distant or as if from a distance because of the eye control. You don't have the feeling of direct interaction so much as more of an influence. Apart from tracking the hands and eyes, there is nothing that can be used to control the AVP in games. The passthrough is also only slightly better than the Qeust 3. All the review videos don't show the real quality of the passtrough. So if you have a screen replacement with a limited field of view and are not interested in VR/AR games, you can buy it. The rest shouldn't think about it.
You can use any controller with Bluetooth. You wait, once third parties make some be controllers the conversation about gaming will change. The Vision Pro is a much more powerful hardware to play games than the quest3.
yes, and we all know that, they can also use the controller on quest too, but the thing isn't that the vision pro is a more powerful hardware but it's the fact that he cost $3k5. it's the same as a gaming computer you cand decide to buy one as powerful as you want but the problem will always be money, that's why some people don't buy the mosttt advance pc@@MakrMania
how do you know that the AVP is 90 - 95 degrees? where have you seen that in the specs online? from what I can see online they say it is 110 degrees. Where I think it gets less is that people sometimes need a larger light seal for lens inserts. Some people are ditching the light seal altogether and are getting a higher FOV
just stick to the quest then if people can't afford it. You pay for what you get. @@hander__s
@@MakrMania from my apple store. Without light seal 105 degrees. But thats not good for your eyes. 100 degrees with the 20 light seal. Otherwise 95 degrees. The vertical fov is still 20 degrees smaller compared to the quest 3.
Imagine tekken played in 3d in your table. Just like starwars holographic game. That would be cool.
Apple users when they discover very basic VR functionality available for much cheaper on Quest 3: 😲
It really is comical. Whoa a resizable floating 2D screen on the moon!!!
the popular question used to be can it play crysis....now the question can it play half life : Alyx....vision pro user please answer this....
Apple Vision Pro is definitely way way better
@@dokassi7976 name one way it is better than isn't resolution. It's a very expensive, stationary, virtual monitor.
@JoshEinstein you said it resolution!
Playing my pc games at the highest resolution in the world with the any size I choose that's insane
The only downside it's expensive
2:36 there is actually a game called Iron Man VR but I'm not sure it'll come to Vision Pro
Do you have to use steam link through that mac or did you have it on PC? If we can play steam games on the AVP through PC that would be incredible.
you can steam link from AVP to PC
Without 6DOF controllers, you can play only non VR games. How sad is that? No Half Life Alyx for instance.
Foreal you this bs 3.5k$ for play apps in vr 😂😂😂😂
Sideswipe looks so good!!! Make it bigger 😂🙌🏼
Imagine an immersive environment that is a rocket league stadium with all the little jelly bean fans cheering lol
They need to to add panoramic window feature for gaming
You mean like the Meta Quest?
Hope they get apps for remote play for Playstation steam and Xbox. Would be dope
Nah just get an oculous. It’s way more equipped for gaming and cost 5x less🤣 these things are $3000-$4000. The newest oculus is $500
when these types of devices get as small as the big screen VR headset and under a grand, I'll buy.
Now the real gold is to have something like this but with nothing needing to be on your body no headset or anything 😂
Which is better for gaming? Meta quest 3 or apple vision pro? Ty
Metaquest no doubt
well know we know what next gen 3d tv gaming will be
it seems to me like gaming wasnt something they prioritised with the vision pro
Its only mobile for now thats's the main focus of Apple their PCs mostly arent for gaming but productivity
productivity in vr/ar set doesnt exist. lower resolution than ur pcs screen and headache after 2 hours of working @@JoaoVictor74
You can play Palworld in an actual vr not just flat screen by using uevr mod.
wasnt steam link discontinued?
Pokémon Go in it is would be a dream come true
Vision pro has do much potential i can see it
Waiting for some haptic gloves! 🥳
It seems to me that there are some ideas which were seen on Kinect from Microsoft. This is a kind of a enhanced version.
Is the Vision pro compatible with iPad devices like Mac?
No it doesnt pop out an ipad display like it does for the Mac
Thank you
Bro if the could have something like ready player one that would be good but ig I’m looking to far into the feature
What about playing Nintendo Switch through an HDMI-capture card connected to a Mac?
probably possible but imagine needing a mac for that💀
Great video
Your eyes after the gaming told all the story
Wouldn't getting a big screen TV be cheaper in most cases? I can see this as useful for small single room apartments where a 42+ inch TV takes up wall space.
Iorn man vr on ps4 was fun but apple vision pro sounds more fun
The eyes thru that thing looks like apple quality
I use my ps5 with direct Ethernet plugged in, and stream to my iPad so that my girlfriend still has the main tv. Do you know or could you check if the iOS ps remote play app works on the Vision Pro?
I’m guessing Vision Pro doesn’t have the PS remote app itself. But if you have an iMac or MacBook then you can just use PS remote play on there and connect the Vision Pro to your Mac screen. Basically in a similar to this video.
After some digging your right, it’s not on the Vision Pro, but I don’t have an m series MacBook or iMac either. Apparently there is an app called MirrorPlay on IOS that is available also for the vision, so I’ll give that a try.
So it's just a monitor you wear on your face? What about actual VR games like half life or something?
Excellent!!
Is PS remote play compatible?
End of television 📺 as we know it 😂😂😂😂 just like the VCR 😂
Is your eyes comfortable when u on those?
Yeah it’s not bad at all
This would be good for artists too I can draw anywhere and don't need my computer is good
Could you try it with 2k?
Input method will be difficult to handle
