  • This is a comparison of the Nux (www.nuxefx.com/) Atlantic with the Source Audio Ventris.
Both pedals provide the combination of delay and reverb.
Besides the direct comparison of varying reverb- and delay sounds, you will also get a soundscape of shimmer to float away.

The Ventris sounds better, more deep, but the Nux is a no brainer for the price.
Thanks for the comparison ! 👍

I have the Atlantic so I may be biased but given the considerable price differential I think the NUX gives the Strymon a good run for the money. On stage you would be pressed to hear a difference although I prefer the Strymon shimmer. In terms of build quality they match up. Nice comparison👍

I have a nux atlantic and planning to buy a Collider but I have to say that the Nux Atlantic is an amazing pedal. Simple and practical.
I like all the 3 reverb options and the 70’s delay mode. The 60's delay mode adds too much degradation by the end of it's tail in my opinion (which can be solved by using less repetitions) and the 80’s mode (digital delay) also adds a kind of a tripled notes division by the end it's tail (which again is just a matter of using less repetitions) but still a great pedal!

Man I was ready to buy a Source Audio Collider but this Nux Atlantic pedal sounds pretty damn good for the price.

I’m in the same boat. May get the NUX and a new speak for my amp instead of the collider. Too many options. Just sold my nemesis. It sounded amazing though. Easily the best delay I’ve heard in the room. So I don’t know anymore

@@chrisfit I bought the Atlantic and funnily enough I'm planning to get a Creamback speaker with the money saved. I figured that I just need some simple delay and reverb for now. The Source Audio stuff sounds better from demos I've listened to and has more options to customise, but for the staple sounds I think the Atlantic is pretty solid.

Love my atlantic. The line FX from nux seem pretty good. I bought one of their overdrive and found it so bad I pulled it off my board. If this one took a turd I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again

Ventris is of course supervisor, in a few ways but depends on your needs. The Nux is all I need. Used around $100.

I already have a delay pedal. I was wondering if I should get this Nux Atlantic Delay & Reverb or the Boss RV-6. Any thoughts?

Why a stereo plug? It has two output jacks.
Do you mean for the input - a TRS?
