It sounds bizarre given just how different they are, but Jordi's done so well by me since he dropped that Eyjalter somehow feels more like a sidegrade than an upgrade.
Gladiia is my favorite character since her release on global server. She never left my main squad and she's the only reason why I'm still playing AK today. On top her other talent that gives her a HP regen and damage reduction, her pulling ability complements her survivability aspects. Very few players knows that shifting an enemies when they are about to attack or uses their skills canceled them. So she cancel some enemies hits, and healing while damaging them. She also can attack drones and be deployed on ranged tiles making her very flexible. All her skills are attack scale, so benefits alot from buffs, etc... I will stop here cause it's late and if I continue, I could write a entire video script about "Why Gladiia is rhe best character in the entire game. No biased."
Ulpianus is a very funny "puller" too, S1 pulling enemies to him and S3 pulling himself straight to the enemy. ...I just imagined Glaadia and Ulpianus repeatedly pulling an enemy between each other like they're passing them around.
10:47 I personaly would say that Valarqvin being the easiest source of Necrosis damage avalable make her extremely valuable for thoses who don't have Virtuosa, considering how stupidly strong Necrosis is. I would have placed her in the main list because what she offer is so rare and valuable, In place of Wanqing for exemple, he's good but the issue is that EVERYONe already have myrtle, and for the only thing he brin (his buff), he has the same issue as Elysium IMO, you have to chose between activating skill for DP or keeping it for buff, which is the reason why you never see Ely either.
Elemental damage isnt broken by its own, Valarquin has tons of weaknesses while Virtuosa is ridiculously overtuned, Virtuosa wasnt good for elemental damage alone but also because of her sheer infliction, Valarquin doesnt have this so her value is substantially lower.

my brother uses Vigil all the time, and i have to say, all the hate he gets is very unfair, sure, he might not be as strong as gladiia or theresa, but i would really put him in some place like between tequila and kroos alter (between 4 and 5 in this ranking), and i am an abyssalKnights player so....yeah...gladiia is simply broken
I uses Vigil all the time as well XD Very strong for a vanguard + versatility imho; not the best, but the versatility makes up for it. Can fit role of blocking + ranged, and with good damage compared to to 4* and 5* equivalents, and sooooo much easier to use than Muelsys. The only problem with is his summon being kinda squishy compared to Beanstalk or Blacknight...and the module doesn't really help much with it (damage when full 3 wolves block + ranged is very good though). But with S1, he's pretty easy to use and his wolf regenerates quite quickly.
Arknights expect burst dps with s3 6 stars. Vigil is more newer design where s1 s2 s3 all have diffetent use cases. Muel basically has 1 or 2 times to change the clone. She can lanehold with a defender 3 block and then switch to a sniper or flinger or dorothy for dps in another direction. After team was deployed in front. This also regens the health of the clone. This manual activation is harder to time esp with mo module vs vigil but vigil is more afk friendly. I domt even have vigil and i know he plays more like agent vanguards. You pop him down like a doll keeper, not in beginning of fight just like agent vanguards. Then harvest dp and then replace him later. So just like muel they are there only temporarily. Muel s saria copy is not as good as actual saria without skills. And vigil is not as good as a six star dps. His dps is good enuf at e 1. But arknights brain needs 1 op to be good at fixing issues. Whereas vigil just delays and gives dp dps. Very similar to blacknight and others who give some dps but mostly i use em for dp and blocking or delaying
I mean, i do have vigil completely maxed out and he is always usefull if i feel like bringing him but hes just never best in slot if i would only care about bringing the strongest squad for a specific stage he would always be just outside of the range where id pick him cuz he gets outshined

Hell no. Theresa is kinda mediocre because there is no real use for her S3 yet. She is like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, it's just too much healing at once. The only use case of S3 rn is surtr ICU. While gladiia is really good even outside of AH. She's a vanguard, guard, sniper, self healer, cc and puller. She can pretty much lanehold a lane by herself if not that many enemies or high atk enemies come at once. Even if they do come, you can just put a guard infront of her to solve that problem. Ofc, spectre alter is the best one for that job but someone else works too
Me too. I'd put Theresa on #1 for general use. Gladia is not that good outside AH and Theresa can fit in any team just fine and being useful in almost all stages.

Ngl, while I see the merits in Eterna, I don't necessary think she is above Lumen, Kross and Tequila. Those 3 fill the 3 very necessary spots in a team, AoE, range DPS and healing. Meanwhile Eterna have the same issue with other bards, they aren't really necessary, bad even on some stage, most of the time. Especially when Eterna S3 ain't really needed because it has yet to show full potential on anyone currently. I'm bias towards bard in general, Skalter is my first 6 stars, but bard in general most of the time aren't that necessary, good branch though.
Bards are the exclusive healers for enmity units at least. Plus her S2 certainly is pretty strong if not just useful. And her S3 really does circumvent certain massive teamwide damage, or even just tanking stupid damage on one blocker. All of them are niche though yeah. But undeniably strong.
I still think Civilight Eterna is the best welfare. She does her job without much invest and goes with all team comps. But i guess Vigil is the GOAT, so no complaints there
Quercus (which is hinted at if you watch the video) is debatably better than Silence, but I wouldn't be sure that one is definitely better than the other.
I feel like quercus almost always runs S1 to be honest, finding use cases for her s2 is surprisingly hard. And I still think silence alter would be better anyway
Quercus. 1. S1 only need 40 SP wind-up, become 2nd best HPS in game due her attack interval is half of most medic. and it unlimited duration. First HPS on Eyjaberry 2. Sanctuary(damage reduction) for above %HP instead of below %HP that other abjurer have, synergizing well with S1, and its really matter. Still unable solo heal Surtr tough..
Then a certain operator coming soon who people have wanted for a while is so bad they're considered not only the worst 6 star in the game. They are outright powercrept by Projekt Red and make Vigil look like a good unit. They might be a welfare but they are god awful.
Part 1/2: Vigil: cheap early laneholder, does decent damage with Vigil’s shots while the wolf ‘summon’ ignores around 200-300 defense iirc. The wolf summon has multiple hp bars and deals more hits with as many heads are floating beside it. He’s not really much to write home about but he’s good at what he does as a Tactician. Don’t expect him to kill any bosses by himself but he’s great for anyone who doesn’t have an early laneholder like Mountain. Would put him somewhere around the middle of the list, realistically. He’s meme’d as being bad but he’s just… average. And this is coming from someone who likes Vigil.
(2/2) Actual number one spot is Gladiia. Strongest faction in the entire game. One of the best, if not *the* best Hookmaster. Deals an absolutely absurd amount of damage and can attack flying and ground enemies. Her range is four tiles long and she can be placed on ground and ranged tiles which makes her really easy to set down in a safe place and either 1)have her pull enemies into holes or 2) have her absolutely annihilate an enemy. Trait 2 (with full pots): When attacking enemies with 3 or less weight, increase ATK to 136% (+6%) Her first skill is an auto skill that has a fast charge, deals a hefty amount of damage, and at m3 her shift is ‘significant’. Second skill: Attack interval increases but her range increases to being a 3x3 in front of her similar to the range of a mystic caster. She can pull 2 enemies at a time, prioritizing blocked enemies. At m3, her shift is ‘significant’ Third skill: Her strongest dps and stalling skill as far as I’m aware. M3: “Binds a faraway target and generates a tornado centered on it, inflicting -50% Movement Speed to nearby enemies. Enemies caught in the tornado receive 130% ATK as Arts damage and are dragged towards the center significantly once every 1.5 seconds. The target and nearby enemies are dragged towards this unit significantly after the skill duration” Her module: When enemies are pulled, enemies take Arts damage proportional to the distance traveled. How it’s calculated: Checks the distance the enemy moved every 0.066 seconds and deals Arts damage based on the distance at a rate of 800 per 1 tile. If the enemy does not move or moved greater than 4 tiles between a check, no damage will be dealt. About her faction: Abyssal Hunters provide buffs for other Abyssal Hunters. Gladiia’s first trait: when deployed, makes it so that all Abyssal Hunters recover 2.5% of Max HP per second and receive 25% less Physical and Arts damage from Seaborn enemies. With her maxed module, this becomes: When deployed, all Abyssal Hunter recover 3.5% of Max HP per second and receive 30% less Physical and Arts damage from enemies.
The main strength of gladia her buff to abysal hunter squads that is a niche with two 6 stars, 1 limited 6 star, and two 5 stars. She is more into niche knights, while lumen is a really good healer comparable to eyjalter not better but he can heal big numbers with his s3 active and cure ailments and you can slap in any squad as a strong healer.
Honestly Gladia is more universal. She heals herself, takes less damage, pulls, and is basically a guard. Lumen is a fantastic healer, but I wouldn't say he's more universal. Just because Gladia is best with AH, doesn't stop her being stupidly good by herself. One way to put it is that Gladia can solo stages, but Lumen can't (not that it's a very fair comparison).
@@zDragonelhonestly you can just slap Gladia in any squad as a strong guard (yes, a guard). I'm not refuting your points about Lumen, but I think you underestimate Gladia outside of AH squads. Her talent makes AH squads powerful, but she herself is powerful too.
@@xtranathor8143 Gladia have very good stats and survivability with her self healing. S1 is good afk pulling and S3 good aoe dps and crowd-control. She can output good results as a very good low cost early dps but with myrtle in the game that isn't really a problem until later chapters where at that point you got a lot of strong ops or you can just place a vanguard for more dp. But in the healing department there aren't many good free options Ceylon or breeze aren't worth it. You could get Susuro pulling.She is a really strong healer with her S2. But still i don't think Gladia is bad unit but still you could bring other units to fill her role. In Lumen case still the same you could use other healer but there aren't many that could compare to his healing that isn't Eyja that is a limited or Susuro.

I got her as temp recruit once, after that run I immeditely upgraded her and bring her to 70% of my run onward, the 30% lets say wisadel happened

Personally think lumen is better than gladiia since he's more universal than her
But lumen is more replaceable than Gladiia, that's why he is lower in the ranking.
The main strength of gladia her buff to abysal hunter squads that is a niche with two 6 stars, 1 limited 6 star, and two 5 stars. She is more into niche knights, while lumen is a really good healer comparable to eyjalter not better but he can heal big numbers with his s3 active and cure ailments and you can slap in any squad as a strong healer.
Honestly Gladia is more universal. She heals herself, takes less damage, pulls, and is basically a guard. Lumen is a fantastic healer, but I wouldn't say he's more universal. Just because Gladia is best with AH, doesn't stop her being stupidly good by herself. One way to put it is that Gladia can solo stages, but Lumen can't (not that it's a very fair comparison).
@@zDragonelhonestly you can just slap Gladia in any squad as a strong guard (yes, a guard). I'm not refuting your points about Lumen, but I think you underestimate Gladia outside of AH squads. Her talent makes AH squads powerful, but she herself is powerful too.
@@xtranathor8143 Gladia have very good stats and survivability with her self healing. S1 is good afk pulling and S3 good aoe dps and crowd-control. She can output good results as a very good low cost early dps but with myrtle in the game that isn't really a problem until later chapters where at that point you got a lot of strong ops or you can just place a vanguard for more dp. But in the healing department there aren't many good free options Ceylon or breeze aren't worth it. You could get Susuro pulling.She is a really strong healer with her S2. But still i don't think Gladia is bad unit but still you could bring other units to fill her role. In Lumen case still the same you could use other healer but there aren't many that could compare to his healing that isn't Eyja that is a limited or Susuro.
