I played PvP vs SadKangaroo a while ago and he said doing a 2 gate opener with 2 stalkers is "all in cheese" and that he's "trying to improve and c*cks like you keep me from getting any practice." He forgot warp gate and didn't build units and died to 2 stalkers. One of my treasured replays.
SadKangarook has a lot of excuses. If he wants to practice macro without getting disturbed with getting attacked the first 6 minutes then he should practice against AI, improve his macro and only then do ladder. Nothing is wrong with that to improve your macro (I think it can have advantages but you need people as opponents to learn to deal with some other things like getting proxied) but if you play ladder then there are no rules other than the rules of the game, you can request special rules but the other player has no obligation to give it.
Yeah I’m pretty bad lol. (SadKangaroo here) Only been started playing again last year and my pvp is the worst. I only rage after 5-6 loses in a row. Don’t think I’ve ever called 2 stalkers all in cheese though. Gotta say though pretty pathetic if you try and win a game with 2 stalkers. Doesn’t say much for your mid and endgame.
@@ryanelliott6706 I definitely get the frustration, game can be infuriating and Ive had my rage moments. Something you have to understand about PvP is that things happen quick, and a simple 1 unit advantage can win the game. I wasnt trying to win with 2 stalkers, I did what is absolutely one of the standards in PvP; early stalker pressure punishing your 1 gate expand. If you scout that Im opening 2 gates and still decide to 1 gate expand, you need a shield battery and units, neither of which you had, so you lost to something you shouldnt have. Trust me, I was macroing behind that pressure, that was by no means an all in. You need to do your homework before you start calling people pathetic.
Once someone starts just building random buildings in the corner of the map to extend the game, I'm ok with spending some time playing SC2 like a city builder. They can hang out and watch me make pretty Terran cities as long as they would like!
I'd make a ring of turrets and siege tanks just out of range of their last building, kill all my bases except one I put in a corner of the map, put one worker to long distance mine a full mineral line on the opposite corner, and go to sleep.

It really does make the game more interesting to me playing that people can get so angry. I even kind of like that in 2v2, my random ally might get angry at me. I don't want them to be angry; it just makes it all seem more important and fun. We all get so competitive in starcraft. I remember a game where my terran ally got angry he couldn't take a shared natural because my creep spread there. But I was then angry because it's natural creep from the expansion I needed. Out of the 10 or so minutes I wasted, 7 of them were spent trying to find that last one with his hippogryphs
Oh hey that’s me. (SadKangaroo) I always thought I would show up in one of these. I am super toxic. I only really rage after 5-6 losses in a row though. Pretty sure this was one. In the fps battle royal "Apex Legends", there's a mechanic in ranked where your teammates are HEAVILY penalized for trying to leave the game early, they're only allowed to leave if it would be IMPOSSIBLE to revive them. So if I get especially toxic teammates, I'd bait them into a fight (or just let them die), then sneakily grab their banner, but never revive them. Just force them to watch me spam emotes in a corner of the map. But this was only really for the .1% of suuuuper toxic players
as Terran I have been that person, sending buildings to every corner and than antagonizing enemy, won't lie, between lag outs and rage quits, it turned like 30% of my losses to wins lol
As a terran I love wasting people's time when they're toxic and I know I'm gonna lose. I just send out barracks to the corners of the screen along with CCs. It takes a few seconds to set it up but the payoff is them raging like a toddler. And lets be real here, there's nothing better than the feeling of the opponent not being able to win the game when he wanted to after they've been toxic.
If a terran doesn't leave isn't it standard to send air units around the edges of the map? Some phoenix/corruptor/viking will solve that problem right quick =).
Every now and then I will stay in a hopeless game with the idea that not everyone is inherently going to close out the game and comebacks never happen if you're ahead
I just hit Diamond and I've yet to go Skytoss in ranked because it's not part of Vibu-Chan's b2gm build order. Mutas are annoying, but I found out you can actually put stalkers in multiple different places and that's kinda nice.
The only time I’ve wasted someone’s time was in an already long game (30+) min, that ended in me losing a base trade. But the reason I wasted his time was he just started repeatedly saying slurs, so I figured I could just hide a few bases while I watched some UA-cam on my phone.
Lol, I love the idea of a player asking to not have muta, and offering to not use a similar unit. This reminds me of starcraft 1, where the game was even harder, and people would agree to rules to make the game easier. Like no rush 20 minutes was a real thing.
That's the picture that shows up in the dictionary under the word scrub. If you haven't read David Sirlin's "Playing to Win", it describes this behavior in detail.
I don't remember ever hiding or floating buildings but I wouldn't put it past my younger self if they were a dick. On the other hand I love it when it happens to me, allows me to really savor the victory. Killing their stuff after they leave isn't as satisfying. Sometimes I like to make like 15 HT's and pretend like I'm trying to storm their last building to death then check the replay to see if they watched or if just went afk to go rage and kick their dog or whatever it is angry people like to do
Would have been nice to see mass corruptor vomiting on the base. Or, at the end, kill of roaches.. and do full muta swap. Go: there, no more roaches, happy? and then show up with flappy murder bois to kill the buildings :D
PLayed a game of dota and my team lost pretty bad. One of the guys on my team said to the enemy "That PA (Phantom Assassin) carried you." Now, if you don't know about mobas, there is a role called "the carry". They typically start out weak and if their team can give them the space they get OP. PA is a carry. It's literally PA's job to get swole and CARRY their team. I just laughed. Then I laughed again at how bad I must be to be matchmaking with people who are so damn clueless. I have a friend that loves to troll people. He gets the biggest kick out of it bc he's got a talent for it so I can't even fault him. He says some shit and it hits every button and the other guy just loses it. I don't approve and even mute him when I mute all chat, but it's still impressive.
I have wasted rager's time. If they are being super salty, I'm patient as hell. Just surround their last building outside of range and hold the units, let them let it all out.
I have a confession to make. I'm wasting time of those who are doing the offensive gg-s. If I'm in the mood - I'm also starting spamming hatches all around the map and going for a tea / coffee after that.
Oh I definitely did waste someone’s and my own time. I just had really poor impulse control when I was younger. Funny thing is, playing MOBAs for a bit made me realize being able to point the finger at only yourself is a good thing and less frustrating than playing a team game not being entirely sure who’s at blame. In sc2 you can only blame yourself, luck and balance. Blaming luck is pointless, it goes both ways eventually and balance is mostly just an escape for your ego to chase.
does anyone know how far back these games go between the submission and when they make it to twitch/youtube? I submitted one a while ago I'm hoping to see it on here :) Or, does he do more on twitch and only some make it to youtube?
after finishing the replay, i meant play like the zerg player lol. I never use to do the stutter step and would have seen my army melt. Gotta love the childish behavior from the toss player lol. If i was the zerg i'd probably say something like "ez pz" the moment he starts crying. haha
bet that toss player jumped to his IM right after the match ended to try and insult him some more lol. Its how players like that play, I enjoy getting under their skins, especially in MOBA type games.
This isn't quite the way I play, I do tend to go land in my army, though its rarely Roaches, but I do have the same issue of not being able to spend my resources fast enough once I get a good economy going. Generally I go ling+hydra+overseer and try to win with that but if that doesn't work I try to transition to air asap. That's probably a bad way to play, but I'm terrible at macro management so generally I just mass and hope for the best lol
nope never went around the map building buildings just to waist my oppenents time. Honestly this is one of those things i hate the most when people wont leave when they are already dead. you see it alot on the 3v3 and 2v2 ladder.
If someone trash talks me when winning, or offensive gg, I waste their time if it's not inconvenient to me. So if I want a small break, I'll stay in and do whatever when I have time to keep it going. One time I beat a terran who flew his buildings, and I put units at every mineral field, told some prisms to patrol nearby his last buildings, and went afk until he left. It was my last game anyways.
The game was called red crucible 2 and there was a map called Kiev which was basically a Soviet navy carrier and the game mode was a search and destroy, i hid on the top of the ship where you could get to just through one route using a lot of fancy Parkour and sniped everyone of one of the enemy with an artillery strike when they got tired of searching for me and converged on the corner of the deck to play around a bit.
I absolutely have when people BM/Do repetitive offensive GG's... Usually don't bother with hiding(Why waste my time too? :D), but I'll gladly just alt tab for em'. Against someone chill like the Zerg, 100% no I have not
It is mental gymnastics and entitlement. Participation trophies made every millennial kid think they are the best gift god sent to earth. So accepting responsibility and accountability to learn and progress with all things in life will fail to happen and they will always blame someone else for their problems.
oh, 100% I will waste their time if they're BMing. I've no where to be, and infinite time of my own. besides... it's good micro practice :P that said though, if the opponent has a request like this, I'll usually honor it. unless you've got like 70 of them mutas suck anyway, 🤣
I feel like the people in lower leagues who would say "F you, your moms fat" in response to something like "no oracles and i do no muta" are the people who would be very BM when they lose, or if they win TBH, whilst the people who say yes and stick to the agreement are the ones who are just playing for fun, enjoying the game. Wheres the fun in just refusing an agreement, or in just pretending to agree to one?.

And lets be real here, there's nothing better than the feeling of the opponent not being able to win the game when he wanted to after they've been toxic.
The loser was the toxic one tho?
@@vanchyy6737 People who offensive GG are toxic and are begging to be trolled.
Aren't you just as toxic in this situation?
@@skunkboy72 trashtalking gets a pass then? ironic
If a terran doesn't leave isn't it standard to send air units around the edges of the map? Some phoenix/corruptor/viking will solve that problem right quick =).
How to win every game of Starcraft 2: "I could haver beat you but didn't, ha."
I've never even played SC II PvP and I enjoy these.
Honestly, I think more people should believe in the power of the roach. I'm almost reaching Diamond 2 with basically just roaches and ravagers
surprise DTs is what makes me want to fly my buildings into the corners
Lol, I love the idea of a player asking to not have muta, and offering to not use a similar unit. This reminds me of starcraft 1, where the game was even harder, and people would agree to rules to make the game easier. Like no rush 20 minutes was a real thing.
Next game, OK, no Mutas and no Roaches
Best show ever!! Love salt in SF2 !!!!!!!!!!!
Nearly every toss army beats mass roach, especially supply wise, just stop move commanding and spend your money :D
That's the picture that shows up in the dictionary under the word scrub. If you haven't read David Sirlin's "Playing to Win", it describes this behavior in detail.
The teeth sucking and lip smacking was off the charts this episode.
Congrats.
too many people watch artosis streams and learn that protoss can do nothing all game and still win.
"You don't get better by Roack Spam"
Has SadKangaroo never read Mondragon's guide to ZvP?
Years ago, as a bitter noob terran, I had a policy of floating all over the map rather than taking the loss if the opponent bm'ed me.
Lol it's ranked, i would 100% agree then drop creep in the corner to hide a spire and mass mutas.
I don't remember ever hiding or floating buildings but I wouldn't put it past my younger self if they were a dick. On the other hand I love it when it happens to me, allows me to really savor the victory. Killing their stuff after they leave isn't as satisfying. Sometimes I like to make like 15 HT's and pretend like I'm trying to storm their last building to death then check the replay to see if they watched or if just went afk to go rage and kick their dog or whatever it is angry people like to do
Tbf, he lived up to his name
thyacalis is exceptionnaly calm et intelligent. Sadkangaroo is exceptionnaly bad mannered
I love these movies :)
I have sunk to the level of wasting time being salty. In my defense it was as a reaction to an offensive gg.
on another note that zerg was very well mannered
Would have been nice to see mass corruptor vomiting on the base.
Or, at the end, kill of roaches.. and do full muta swap.
Go: there, no more roaches, happy? and then show up with flappy murder bois to kill the buildings :D
Today we learned that the Phoenix is not an air unit.
Theres a reason it's called a GG of roaches
I have wasted rager's time. If they are being super salty, I'm patient as hell. Just surround their last building outside of range and hold the units, let them let it all out.
I never really get why would you call somebody who beat you a noob? You are literally roasting yourself this way 🤣
I don't think they are smart enough to realize that 😂
There needs to be a rule where if you have 10x your opponents supply for 3 mins after a certain amount of time, they surrender
omg 18k and 11k resources stocked just trying to find the base
I have a confession to make. I'm wasting time of those who are doing the offensive gg-s. If I'm in the mood - I'm also starting spamming hatches all around the map and going for a tea / coffee after that.
the losing player is the toxic one tho?
If you offensive GG me or flame me to get out, I will start hiding buildings immediately.
What a sad sad kangaroo.
I use to play like those players, till i watched your B2GM
after finishing the replay, i meant play like the zerg player lol.
I love this salt series lol
I never start BM but I absolutely will finish it.
I waste peoples time IRL. Every time I cross a road I adjust my walking pace to hold up cars as long as possible. :)
I did bm but I never wasted people's time by placing building all around the map.
Yes I have wasted numerous people's time because they were being a D out of nowhere. I am proud to admit that.
This was some very BW-esque BM.
The game was called red crucible 2 and there was a map called Kiev which was basically a Soviet navy carrier and the game mode was a search and destroy, i hid on the top of the ship where you could get to just through one route using a lot of fancy Parkour and sniped everyone of one of the enemy with an artillery strike when they got tired of searching for me and converged on the corner of the deck to play around a bit.
lol like 4 void rays absolutely wreck that army. Zerg has nothing that shoots up.
I absolutely have when people BM/Do repetitive offensive GG's... Usually don't bother with hiding(Why waste my time too? :D), but I'll gladly just alt tab for em'. Against someone chill like the Zerg, 100% no I have not
how many Nexus did he save up for?! he built ten extra ones after he lost lol.
EPIC
I like to go do something else instead of leaving sometimes! Guilty!

Artosis?
It is mental gymnastics and entitlement. Participation trophies made every millennial kid think they are the best gift god sent to earth. So accepting responsibility and accountability to learn and progress with all things in life will fail to happen and they will always blame someone else for their problems.
I know a youtuber who teaches to spam roaches in his B2GM videos
is it gold ladder?
I confess that i make TvT as painful for my opponent as possible in an attepmt to make terrans quit sc2 so i dont have to play TvT every second game.
oh, 100% I will waste their time if they're BMing. I've no where to be, and infinite time of my own. besides... it's good micro practice :P
that said though, if the opponent has a request like this, I'll usually honor it. unless you've got like 70 of them mutas suck anyway, 🤣
