YES!!! I just recommended the same song. I'm pretty new to that song. I think it was last year that I discovered it. Now it's a regular song on my playlist.
To say she was stunning… was actually an understatement. She came on the country music scene like she was shot out of a cannon. Such energy and confidence. Combined with her beauty and talent… holy smokes. Her appeal was off the charts. She certainly left me speechless back in the day lol.
I moved to Nashville in May of 1995,right before Fan Fair. I had my picture taken with Shania Twain at her booth after standing in line for almost 3 hours! It was worth every minute. I still have the hat she signed and the picture of the two of us.
I remember seeing her for the first time in this video and thinking WHO IS THAT Sinbad didn’t have many jokes but when going on stage at an award show immediately after her performance and thanking her parents, he got a rare laugh
Actually, her first album was a complete failure. It would not have registered 1/10 of a decibel if record sales, airplay, and singles sales were measured in sound. But it was probably because she was styled and stifled by the record company. They told her what to sing and packaged her, rather than letting her be an artist. Until she met that mutt, uh, Mutt Lange. Who said if he was her producer, he'd let her write her own songs. That's when she charged in.a
This song launched her into absolute stardom. The summer this video came out she won “best bare midriff”and the whole world was on notice that Miss Shania had arrived. She has so many songs y’all still need to get to. Some of my favorites are “The Woman in Me” and “If You’re Not in it for Love, I’m Outta Here”. Please don’t take too long to get back to Shania.
Shania in her Canadian tuxedo! Lol. (Blue jeans and Jean top). Believe it or not, there was a lot of controversy when she started to gain popularity that a country artist would wear tops that show her belly button!!! Insane right! She blazed the trail for crossover between country and pop. Love her. There's a lot more Shania music out there for you guys to react to! Can't wait to see more!
If You’re Not In It For Love, I’m Outta Here- Shania. J/a this was her follow up #1 to Any Man of Mine. Cheeky lyrics, great song. Confident both of you would like reacting to it!!
For some reason, when I came home from school around 3rd or 4th grade, the TV would wind up on CMA and that video would come on. Then I would turn to my regular programming.
This video was my introduction to seeing Shania Twain. I was in the Army stopped into a corporal's barracks room over lunch time to talk about something and he had CMT playing on his TV and while we were talking this video started. We both just froze and forgot what we were talking about and were just mesmerized for the rest of the video.
I am so glad you finally reacted to this song. Her voice is great! She looks beautiful and the camera just loves her in this video. It is the song that made her Shania Twain. Awesome performance!!! I am glad you both enjoyed it.
When I was in my twenties I was living with a couple of cowboys going to school out west. Both of them hated this song on the radio. They kept saying, my woman won't do that or that, etc. Then one day they were walking by the TV and suddenly they saw this song. Neither one said anything for the whole video. Then they both agreed that for a woman like her, they would agree to her terms. Don't worry, that was the start of their slight growing up.
Lol - I’d say she had the same effect on me. Her confidence, energy, and stunning beauty… she came on the country music scene like she was shot out of a cannon. Plenty of beautiful ladies in country music over the tears, but nobody with the same type of appeal as Shania. She turned guys into putty.
This is my teens!!! I went to a country bar that did a teen night every Sunday. Line dancing and lots of fun. Thank you for bringing me back in time. ❤️
I was a rock and roller and the first time I saw this video I was a Shania fan. I learned her incredible backstory and have followed her through a lot of highs and lows. I believe she has a true heart. This female artist is not as upbeat, but has something deep. I recommend Bonnie Raitt especially "Nick of Time". An Irish girlfriend of mine sang so much like Bonnie, it would raise the hairs on my body.
Shania was a legend in the line Dancing world in the 1990s - 2000s we were dancing at festival"s, outdoor events, weekend dance party"s, and of course weekly club nights, she was electric to dance to, she got everyone dancing Men, women, young and old it was fun nobody needed a partner and everyone made friends it was a great time, a happy time
This one didn't cross over to the pop chart, but it's quite a jam! I want to recommend your next Shania song: "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under." I just discovered it last year, and it's pretty awesome!!!
This was one of her earliest hits, her introduction to American audiences. There was a little controversy about her bare midriff, which was just “not done” in country circles before her. 😀
Yes Shania shook up the music scene in those days, another is a series of great 🇨🇦 artists. Both the USA and Canada can be proud of the variety of great music turned out over the years. 😎🍺
Shania's "If you're Not in it for Love - I'm Outta here" for me is the ultimate! It is so upbeat and a great song! It was a huge hit for her and still rocks to this day!
You need to do Gonna Getcha Good and Party For Two. She grew up in Timmins, ON, which is very rural. Of course Canada does country. We are more than cold and snow. 😮😮😮 If you do I Gotta Getcha Good, I’d suggest a live version. She is totally lost in the official music video which distracts hugely from her and the song.
Her song from the movie Twister (which you should review on your show), is called No One Needs To Know. Very catchy. Twister is a great movie with top stars, very suspenseful!
I remember that the male back-up voice is the GREAT Dwight Yokam. This was the 1st Country CD I ever bought. I had strictly been a rocker before that. She got me to appreciate Country and Western...
So now I have to recommend her "No One Needs To Know Right Now" and Martina McBride "My Baby Loves Me". Honestly think you'll both love them. Shania is such a force, and I'm really glad you're liking her.
"No One Needs to Know" is one of my top 2 favorite Shania Songs (the other being "From This Moment On"). Great suggestion! Not enough channels react to that one.
This is old school Shania, back in her prime. The song that got me hooked on her for the first time was "What made you say that?" instant crush on her even if I was just a pre-teen back then. Waiting for you guys to react to that one, also there's "whose bed have your boots been under?" and so many more!
I started as a Mobile DJ in 1998, and this song came out a few years before that. When I did weddings, this song was a must as I would get requests for it constantly. There were times I played it twice in a night. It was a great two-step song that would get everybody out on the dance floor. It launched her career, and he follow up CD Come on Over put as a household name. Amazing song from an amazing performer, who is still out performing. She is a legend, and if you have not seen her in concert, you need to. Great reaction!
I was in college when this album came out and it was huge. Me and my friends sang every song off this album in karaoke all the time. Especially Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under and If You're Not In It For Love (I'm Outta Here).
more Shania for your list: "(If You're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here", "Who's Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?", and MY favorite -- her very underrated "No One Needs To Know". And some Canadian female artists worth mentioning (other than Shania and Celine): Anne Murray, Joni Mitchell, Alannah Myles, k.d. lang, Nelly Furtado, Sarah McLachlan, and Alanis Morissette -- just to name the more famous ones I can think of.
I hear this song and am transported back 27 years ago to my cousin’s teacher’s lounge that we spend a hot August weekend painting/redecorating. I painted the base color, cousin stencil/painted. This album and a Jeff Foxworthy CD. We sang and laughed the whole day long.
I absolutely LOVED this song back in the mid-90s! My parents couldn't stand her, but my friends and I adored Shania back in the day. Even though she had other songs out prior to this ('Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?' being one of them), this was her first ever massive hit. She even has a phenomenal song on the Twister soundtrack.
Shania was revolutionary for Country music, this is one of her more Country sounding songs. Her husband helped write & produced her songs. Saddly, he left her for her best friend.
This is one of my all-time favorite reactions from you guys! This is definitely my favorite Shania song!!! Praying for you and your family every day, Jay! Love y'all! ♥
When I worked security for the local arenas here in Cincinnati, I worked a Shania show. At the time I was stage front supervisor, entertainer detail. I met Shania and she is sweet. We are all instructed to not speak with entertainers, unless spoken too but she was talkative and excited about her show. She entered through crowd heavily guarded and it was right before or right after the separation of the husband. Sweet lady and happy at that time anyway.
This was from her first album to really hit the charts. It was much more "country" than her later albums that had a lot more pop influence to them. I've never been a fan of country music. But when it came out, I remember seeing this video and the follow-up, "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under" (which should be your next Shania reaction) and thinking that may be the most strikingly beautiful woman I had ever seen.
I loved Shania when I was like 10 yrs old more like when the songs were coming out. I was obsessed with her music. I love her. I wish i had the money to have seen her in concert this year when she was near me in concert. I'm a small town country woman/mama.
Canada does country, y’all! You guys need to check out the tv show Heartland! I bet your girls would love that show if they like horses at all. Definitely check out some more Shania Twain, I love the song “I’m Gonna Getcha Good”. Have you reacted to Keith Urban yet? Aussie’s do country too! 😉 “Somebody Like You”, “Long Hot Summer”, and “You’ll Think of Me” are a few greats. ❤
I was going through some stuff when Shania got big and her music gave me the strength and self esteem I needed to get me through it all. Shania is legendary.
She really had the men lining up with this song lol. My favorite of her upbeat songs, did a lot of Line Dancing to this at the Honky Tonks 😉. The men were hootin and hollerin, clapping...good times.
A quick fun fact! Shania Twain was the first country female artists to bare her midriff in a video. It was very conservative up until the 90s were they allowed her to do it but they were still on the defense maybe people would think it was too flashy. Yeah this woman is gorgeous and can sing like the wind blows ❤ Can you do a country artist that I don't think you've ever done. She is Canadian and her name is K.D Lang, song Trails of Broken Hearts. She switch to Alternative in the 90s but she was amazing country singer.
If your looking for another female country star from the 90’s with Shania like attitude you should check out Terri Clark. Better Things to do, Poor Poor Pitiful Me, and Easy on the Eyes are a few great songs to start with.
Try other Shania Classics like "Whose Bed Have Your Boots been Under", "The Woman In Me", "You Win My Love"," Love Gets me Every Time", "Don't Be Stupid", "Don't", "Up"
When she first burst onto the country scene at the Grammys, she really shook things up. She was gorgeous, and I don’t know that anybody else had been quite so alluring as she had been.
"If you're not in it for love, I'm outta here." "Love gets me everytime." I rock both songs when I'm haulin' ass through the country in my tractor-trailer as well as "Any (wo)man of mine."
Since I'm a fan of country music, I first noticed Shania in the 90s and I've been a fan ever since. She makes such good and enjoyable music that you just have to listen to her. The best thing was the big open air concert in Chicago It was also broadcast by NBC. There was a mood there and after the world tour where I saw her live here in Germany for the first time, it became a little quieter around her because she was dealing with a vocal cord illness, which made it all the better that she was back. Jy, Amber keep it up. greetings from Germany
Im not much in the country genre but this song hit the pop charts in the mid 90's and brought Shania into the pop scene.. I'd recommend early Carrie Underwood too.
You would love "Who's Bed Have Your Boots Been Under". A really fun song by her.
YES!!! I just recommended the same song. I'm pretty new to that song. I think it was last year that I discovered it. Now it's a regular song on my playlist.
This is the song that came to my mind as well....
Yeah thats my fave too. 😊
‘Whose’
I love that song!!!!
To say she was stunning… was actually an understatement. She came on the country music scene like she was shot out of a cannon. Such energy and confidence. Combined with her beauty and talent… holy smokes. Her appeal was off the charts. She certainly left me speechless back in the day lol.
And she’s an incredible song writer as well.
I moved to Nashville in May of 1995,right before Fan Fair. I had my picture taken with Shania Twain at her booth after standing in line for almost 3 hours! It was worth every minute. I still have the hat she signed and the picture of the two of us.
She was a singer? I was concentrating on something else😂
I remember seeing her for the first time in this video and thinking WHO IS THAT
Sinbad didn’t have many jokes but when going on stage at an award show immediately after her performance and thanking her parents, he got a rare laugh
Actually, her first album was a complete failure. It would not have registered 1/10 of a decibel if record sales, airplay, and singles sales were measured in sound. She has so many songs y’all still need to get to. Some of my favorites are “The Woman in Me” and “If You’re Not in it for Love, I’m Outta Here”. Please don’t take too long to get back to Shania.
I remember some in the country music industry were twisted because her belly button was visible.
If You’re Not in it for Love, I’m Outta Here” . that should be next on the list great song
Love that song!@@cinematicuniversenews1295
This one and the "I'm outta Here" videos are fantastic!
Love her.

“Gonna Getcha Good” is another great Shania Twain track and music video!!!!!
Just a total jam, and one of Shania's best IMO. Still sounds incredible all these years later!
Every man loves her, even my loyal dad had to look twice at her 😄
She is so captivating, can’t take your eyes off of her
If her career would of never worked out,she could of been a super model'..... she is stunning!

This women has a voice on her. Listening to Shania always brings a smile to my face 🙂
This was one of her first hits, and the song that made her a big star. It was a big hit and all over the radio.
This video was my introduction to seeing Shania Twain. I love the duet Shania in Party for Two with Billy Currington, its really good. Also Don't Be Stupid where she does Irish dancing in water.
I am so glad you finally reacted to this song. Her voice is great! She looks beautiful and the camera just loves her in this video. It is the song that made her Shania Twain. Awesome performance!!! I am glad you both enjoyed it.
Thank you guys for playing the song I knew you would like it! Another of her songs is Gonna Getcha Good
I got to see Shania in concert a month ago,she sounds great, looks great and is still a great entertainer 🎉
Lucky you!
Always liked Shania
One of my childhood crushes
When I was in my twenties I was living with a couple of cowboys going to school out west. Both of them hated this song on the radio. I agree she's a knockout but I would not agree to those terms especially in this day and age 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know Jay will like this song, she is so beautiful and talented ♥️ Amber is all smiles 😊
This is my teens!!! I went to a country bar that did a teen night every Sunday. Line dancing and lots of fun. Thank you for bringing me back in time. ❤️
That sounds like so much fun!
I always liked Shania’s stuff!
We all liked her stuff, and her music was pretty good too.
Her song with Billy Currington, Party for Two, is a lot of fun also. I liked the horse in this one. 😂😂😘😘
I was gonna suggest that one! 😂 I love it❤
She'd take a horse on tour with her. In Vegas she rode a horse on stage unbridled and unsaddled.
Bonnie Raitt is a guitar legend
She really does have an incredible backstory along with incredible talent. Like I don't know many people who could pull through what she did.
Shania was a legend in the line Dancing world in the 1990s - 2000s we were dancing at festival"s, outdoor events, weekend dance party"s, and of course weekly club nights, she was electric to dance to, she got everyone dancing

I remember that. It's so crazy to look back on that especially because it really wasn't all that long ago lol
Man, I Feel Like a Woman, is by far my favorite!
Please react to Shania’s “I’m Gonna Get You”and “Up!”
i highly recommend “Love Gets Me Every Time”!! one of my favs ❤️

I absolutely adore that one.
I remember that the male back-up voice is the GREAT Dwight Yokam. This was the 1st Country CD I ever bought. I had strictly been a rocker before that. She got me to appreciate Country and Western...
No. The backup singer is her ex husband Mutt lang he did all the background vocals
@@jenniecartier3917 Production too if I remember correctly. From HIGHWAY TO HELL to ANY MAN OF MINE ... who woulda thunk it!
Wow, never knew that, but now that i listen to it again, i hear it!!
I came to the comments because I thought it sounded like Dwight Yoakam as well. Wanted to see if anyone could confirm it.
That's not Dwight.
That male vocal you heard briefly was Dwight Yoakam. You guys would love his catalog. A true country music one of one artist.
That's not Dwight.

So now I have to recommend her "No One Needs To Know Right Now" and Martina McBride "My Baby Loves Me". Honestly think you'll both love them. Shania is such a force, and I'm really glad you're liking her.
NO ONE NEEDS TO KNOW set in OK
"No One Needs to Know" is one of my top 2 favorite Shania Songs (the other being "From This Moment On"). Great suggestion! Not enough channels react to that one.
love "no one needs to know right now." definitely gotta see their reaction, as well as "What made you say that?"
For the full Shania experience you must do “Honey..I’m Home”. Great concert video.
Would definitely recommend to listen (If You're Not in It for Love) I'm Outta Here! One of my favourite
This is old school Shania, back in her prime. The song that got me hooked on her for the first time was "What made you say that?" instant crush on her even if I was just a pre-teen back then. Me too! Brown eyes and brown hair - first time I felt attractive and represented - sounds so cliche but that’s how I felt! Loved loved loved it!
Country Shania! She took country music by storm, everyone loved her. Still do really. "Who's bed have your boots been under?" Next please.
Shania Twain has so many number one hits!!! She blew up the 90s and 2000s. EVERY MAN said YEAH I LIKE IT THAT WAY!!!
My two favourites of hers are one of her first hit “Dance with the one Who Brought you “ and the song from Twister - “No One Needs to Know Right Now”
Great song y'all. Next you need to check out " Who's Bed have your Boots been Under".

Nothing ever bad from Shania! This is a great one!!😊
“Don’t Be Stupid” was my favorite song of hers when I was little. My mom would blast it in the car and it was the coolest thing ever for me lol
This has been my favorite Shania song forever. It's perfection.
I LOVE Shania! My first live concert ever back in 2004
I have seen Shania 9 times live and just one of the best live performances ever. Her stage show is just one of a kind.
Pure country! Real talent! One of the richest female country singers around. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
One of her firsts
Great Reaction ❤
You need to revisit many of the female country artists. Matina McBride, Patty Loveless. Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire to name few
Very good song by Shania Twain!!❤❤
And now you should listen to one of her new songs, like waking up dreaming.
I hear this song and am transported back 27 years ago to my cousin’s teacher’s lounge that we spend a hot August weekend painting/redecorating. I painted the base color, cousin stencil/painted. This album and a Jeff Foxworthy CD. We sang and laughed the whole day long.

This was the first Shania song I ever heard...and like so many others...was immediately hooked!

Shania has new album out they both are good she just finished a tour this year too!
Shania was huge when these songs were out ! She was everywhere. Great times and memories ❤
Please do "who's bed have your boots been under" next!!! It's my favorite by her ^_^
MEGA talent! This song makes me smile. 😁
Most beautiful thing to ever come outta Canada! Ooozed hotness on a global scale!!

There was a mood there and after the world tour where I saw her live here in Germany for the first time, it became a little quieter around her because she was dealing with a vocal cord illness, which made it all the better that she was back.
Jy, Amber keep it up.
greetings from Germany
Love this one probably her signature song and also If You’re Not I it for Love
You really need to watch I'm Gonna Getcha Good (Performance Version). It's a great song and she has NEVER looked more beautiful.
Alanis is Canadian
"I'm Gonna Getcha Good" is an excellent song to do next Female Friday. More rock and super catchy.
Im not much in the country genre but this song hit the pop charts in the mid 90's and brought Shania into the pop scene.. I'd recommend early Carrie Underwood too.
On one of my "milestone" birthdays, my daughter got third-row seats to her show. One of my favorite shows of all time!
