PUTTING WEIRD THINGS IN THE OVEN - Time Lapse [4K]
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- This video shows you a whole bunch of different food items being time lapsed in a regular oven. Things you would normally put in the oven like various meat, croissants etc, but also other things that don't belong in it, like grapes, watermelon, jelly, and ice cream.

Oven fun fact:
The largest oven in the world is the "Great London Oven," located in London, England. It is 25 meters long, 8 meters wide, and 7 meters high, and is used for industrial-scale baking.

After a year and a half in the making, I am thrilled to finally share this video with you. I started working on it back in December 2021. Many of you often ask about the space my projects occupy on my hard drive, and I must say, they are usually quite large, often reaching hundreds of gigabytes. However, this particular project surpasses them all. I captured approximately 70,000 photos, and when combined with the video files, they amount to a staggering 1016GB. Now, my second largest project to date is the Whole Watermelon Time Lapse, which takes up 896GB.
Lastly, in this video, you will notice some items in the oven that do not belong there. I want to emphasize the importance of safety when using appliances that pose a potential fire hazard. Please always exercise caution.
A like and comment is always appreciated! :)
I love you vids
Grapes in microwaves are very dangerous
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!❤❤
I always thought you making these videos is by...taking a video, not pictures..I really wonder, if taking pic is 1TB, how big the file will be if you take a video instead.
How do you incorporate the photo's with the video and why? I thought we were watching slow mo video recordings. Also I loved watching the food you cooked to eat, they were the best and made me hungry :)
Rest in puddle Magnum ice cream!
Next Up 🤣 Will meal worms eat the charred remains of the weird stuff I put into the oven!
Very interesting idea
Love it!!!!❤❤❤
amazing video
Thanks!
Those ice lollies and ice cream took surprising long to melt
Almost hypnotized...👍🏽
That burned strawberry sounded very satisfying
imagining the smell on these was fun. though imagining your kitchen smelling like burnt banana was less fun 😅
Great to see how the sugars in strawberries, grapes, and watermelon turn black. Ironically as a diabetic these are fruits to be avoided, or eaten in small amounts because of their sugar content.
This video: Too much heat exposure = turns to black.
I once microwaved an apple with my brother for like 20 mins and after that, it had lost 92% of its mass (we weighed it before and after) and was made of solid carbon. The smell was very extreme and the kitchen smellt burnt for like 2 days after that lol.
If you do it correctly, don't burn it and cut apple to slice before you make dried fruit which can stand long time eatable. We call it "křížaly" but I'm sure you can't pronounce it. We don't make it in mikrowave or oven it but puttvon the baking tray behind window in sunny day or in air dryer for fruits (fruit dehydrator?).
For once, watching a video of yours makes me hungry instead of killing my appetite! I love the mix up, this was fun to watch
How did burnt food make you hungry 😭😭
@@Onnamusic the bread and the other stuff that wasn't burnt. :)
@@Onnamusiclooks crunchy
I would really love to see rust, even an accelerated rust.
100 years later… video still not done
I've been meaning to do a rust time lapse, but haven't decided yet how I should do it. Anyways, I will make it very soon now
@@PhotoOwl it will take a very long time to do it, but you could use chemicals to speed up the process
that’ll be so cool

I like how it went from weird stuff to just cooking dinner, then back to weird stuff.
Every time there was meat in there, I was begging the screen. "Please stop before it burns. Please don''t waste the meat."
Never have I ever been so interested at seeing things cook in an oven
This stuff takes time and real dedication ❤
I think that most of them look like venom at the end (the superhero)
That oven must have had a lot of interesting smells that entire time.
Fascinating!! I like the change in pace, and I appreciate how much work went into this! All of your videos require a lot, but a year and a half and over 1k gb of storage is truly insane!!!
Thank you! I'm actually about to get a new hard drive because with this project now I don't have more storage space left.:)
Yeah
1k gb is only 1tb
the way the fruit almost universally started foaming and burning was so fascinating. you could base, like, zombie infections in a horror movie off of the way it looked honestly
and the way the bag the roasted chicken was in started pulsating (and how for a bit the chicken _rippled_ after being removed from the bag) was oddly haunting to me o_o
It's almost like fruit is full of sugars or something... 😂
@@FatalShotGG yeah that would probably explain it actually! in all honesty i kinda forgot XD i dont think of fruit much
Baked tomatoes are surprisingly tasty.
This is so relaxing
Glad you think so!
An interesting change of scenery for the channel, but certainly not an unwelcome one. Great work as always!
I love how the bag is just vibing with the music at 3:43
I think it's because he/she has to open the oven to take the picture. When the cold air sneaks in, the bag slightly shrinks. How much it shrinks depends on how much time it took to take the picture. The variance creates the illusion that its pulsing. That's my guess, I don't know for sure.
Wow, they turned a raspberry into a blackberry.
As someone who loves strawberries, I can confirm that this is how I eat them.
I was just about to microwave my dinner when i saw this video
1:56 that was hard to watch
0:49 This is interesting. I thought you just recorded it and sped it forward
Art of destruction
If only food actually did cook this fast. 🥵
@@1.4142 what ? You’re weird to wanna cook people.
i really like your channel. i struggle with unhealthy coping mechanisms and these videos provide a distraction that still checks the boxes in my brain for "coping". in other words, watching your videos is not only a healthy coping mechanism for me, but also takes the place of the unhealthy coping mechanisms. i am very grateful for your content because of this. thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into your videos.
Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I'm grateful that my videos provde a healthy distraction and help replace unhealthy coping mechanisms for you. Wow! That was way cooler than I was expecting! Also really liked the music. What was it?
Thanks for the kind words. There are 3 separate songs in this video, I don't know which one you mean. You can find all 3 in the description in correct order
Next: putting oven in weird things 😂
Look how the tables have turned :D
3:55 they almost seem alive, funny little creatures.
Great video 👍
Your dedication and hard work is staggering. Love your videos man
I’m first
Thanks for being this fast!
@@PhotoOwlyour welcome
I'm torn by this video. Some of it looked delicious (e.g. the crescent rolls and bacon) while other parts were disgusting (the burnt fruit).
Mealworms in an oven 😈😈
I can't do that lol
@@PhotoOwl1000 mealworms eat watermelon in an oven?
Nooo! They are like his pets! 😮
Probably a cruelty issue, which is fair enough. Not something that’ll happen in nature so won’t work.
Then youtube comes with the animal abuse strike
I've been curious, how does the room where you do most of your long term time lapses smell?
Must be rough with all of the decaying food you always have in there
Sometimes pretty unpleasant, but I air it often, and I use a strong air purifier too.
@@PhotoOwlAir purifier 🤮
There is something very surreal in seeing ice cream melting in an oven...
I could watch the bacon cook all day!!!! And all that bread-wow! Thanks for sharing!
bro made the most advertising vibes in 3:02
So fascinating to watch everything! Even though all the fruit got burnt and stuff it was still cool to watch! 🍓🍋🍉🍇🍅🔥 Watching the bread and meat kind of made me want some 🥐🍤🥖🥓🍗🤤 lol
I love that in the middle it just becomes footage of him cooking party dinner😂
Love the videos ! Keep it up
Missed chance to get sponsored by an oven cleaning product manufacturer
This guys house must have smelled so weird after this
next i want you to see what a human will do if you stick your hand in and leave it for a timelapse
I love how he doesn’t burn the meat since it seasoned, obviously he will eat it later, lol
Oh that ain't nothin, just scrape the burnt part off lol
It *is* the burnt part
I can't imagine how this guys kitchen smelt after this.🤢
i appreciate the effort ...
0:29 Boiled and fried eggs, now BAKED EGGS.
Did not realize I needed this in my life. Thank you.
I just finished eating now I'm hungry again lol
I hope you do Interviews or podcasts discussing this stuff
Electricity is not expensive for those videos...
those strawberries just turned into tin foil
Hello sir, could you introduce me how to make such a good with video like these, (which camera you are using, interval shooting, frame rate,)?
Well this experiment must have smelled lovely
Warning: Don’t Put Grapes In A Microwave!
Am I the only one who REALLY wants to go put a grape in the microwave right now?
This feels like a PhotoOwl DLC expansion
Face reveal??????????????

melting that ice-cream was a crime against humanity.... @1:37
Thoes meats looks delicious.
2:36 is not a weird thing here in switzerland..we do that as a traditional meal with bread
In France too
Mmm looks pretty good

Coolest one is knowing that I can re-Jell-O Jell-O! 2:25

I realized with this video one thought came to mind. "Can you microwave this" series on youtube and I love that little nugget of nostalgia that hit watching this
Because you make my shorts content thanks ❤❤
1:44 rest in pieces or bubble 😂

I normally watch these on my TV so I appreciate the note letting me know to read the pinned comment. The Magnum was by far my favorite. Then whatever that was that followed the Magnum with the chicken in bag after that.
Nice timelapse as always! Could you please consider collecting Oak acorns and do timelapse with them? I would really, really, really, really like to see you make a timelapse germinating an oak tree from an acorn!
Please make a part 2 this is funny just because most of these things I want to put in an oven but my mom won’t allow me
Let's see how this video does and I might do a part 2. What else should I put in the oven?
@@PhotoOwl pomegranate that sounds interesting I think
I think because of the the hard outer layer it might build up some pressure tho so if you do that be careful 😅
@@PhotoOwl A bomb
OMG!!! An Owl time-lapse where everything is sped up to the point that you can really see the changes in real time. That's real time viewing time.
can i come over for dinner
Nice fun fact in the description
Only a very few of my viewers notice those. I put a fun fact in every video's description :)
Awesome
Nice
I understand and appreciate the minimizing food waste, but seeing the fruits get absolutely turned to charcoal vs the breads and meats just cooking was hilarious
Me when I realize you didn’t put marshmallows in the oven:
:> :] :) :| :( :[ :
I have SO many questions
Like
1: how tf do you stay lung cancer free
2: how tf do you not get sick from this stuff
3: were do you get the money to buy all of this
4: do you eat the stuff that's "edible"?
5: are you ok?
Your Amazing honesty!!! I can’t stop watching your videos question? What gave you the inspiration ,side note its such smart investment your videos create your own retirement plan ❤
Courage to clean the oven!
OK, tell the truth, how many Silpats (silicone baking sheets/mats) did you destroy making this video? 😉
As someone who has at times not had enough money to eat, watching you destroy good food isn't entertaining. The stuff like single raspberries and Popsicles was interesting to watch, but when you started destroying whole cheeses I got uncomfortable. Too much food was ruined in this video for me to find it anything but horrifying.
Rest in puddle maginum icecream bar 🫡🫡🫡🫡🤓🤓🤓
As McDonalds would say: "I'm oven it" :) .
This ice cream shouldn't have looked when the Ark of the Covenant was opened, but they did.
Mom: don't set the house on fire while I'm gone
Me 2 seconds after she leaves:
While the first few where quite nice to watch. When you started to burn food on purpose this is when i only feel disgust. Wasting Food is just wrong. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Your music is amazing, where do you find it?
The meat was perfect, my mouth was watering
Wow I love watching your videos! You always put so much effort in them. Keep making these!
