Thank you. The Egyptians were such great artists! These tombs are simply divine! Unbelievable that villagers were living just above them. I wasn't aware that anyone besides kings and queens had such exquisite tombs. That grapevine ceiling is sublime. The different animals so life-like! Just wow!

egypt is absolutely a place of wonder and awe their culture was too advanced and magical for their time it still attract us to this day it is unbelievable how these pieces of art are thousands and thousands years old it send shivers down my spine viewing them as if I'm talking to these people from the past

Stunning as always, Irena. The 'Vinyard' tomb was my favourite - a real neck-breaking task to complete on the obvious, undulated ceiling, yet more realistic. Completely blown away by this video - Thank you !

You should visit the acropolis of Pergamon when you go to Turkey again. I was there, and there is really more than meets the eye. There is even an Egyptian temple to Serapis in the city. Cheers!

Thanks! I filmed it in February, I'm there every year and I've never seen crowds there. All you have to do is buy tickets for specific tombs, and the guards will open them for you on the spot. You don't need a guide, but be prepared for a long walk through the desert.

For thousands of years people believed in different things and, actually, a lot of mummies have survived. In museums all over the world you can find thousands of artifacts from the tombs and many of them are still hidden in the museum archives/basements as there are so many of them. :)
