Got one of these welders at work and I’ve never really mig welded before made it so easy and the weld was spot. 10 out of 10 great tool.

I've heard about alot of problems with Miller and Esab. HTP is better than both and very reliable.

I sometimes see an option on the bottom of the screen for bead shape. Is that available on the 215 and 235?
Rebel is definitely on my list. I've been looking at the 285. I've owned the Migmaster Pro280 , I have an Old Linde Union Carbide 305. Will you do a video on Esab's suitcase welders? I'd like to compare to a Extreme 12v .

How is this machine at welding thinner gauge metal? Autobody work, 18-22 gauge sheet? Can I mig the thinner gauges? Or only Tig.
How thin are you wanting to weld?
Would be helpful to show welding thin material not thick!. I wonder also if this expensive machine can do a gasless job

Isn't the max amperage on this unit 250? Or does the US version have 3ph? The one in europe is rated to max 250amps. :o

It is out!! We shipped out the first pre orders last week! Still is a delay and we do not have stock yet but if you order on our website we will get one coming for you!
I believe the 285 is already out. Pretty cool I think you have the option of single and three phase.
Can the Rebel EMP 215ic run .035" gasless flux-core? Esab does not list it in the chart.
Yes the 215 Rebel will run .035" gasless flux core very well. You would select the flux core process from the main menu and set your polarity to electrode negative. Set your wire speed and voltage according to the wire manufactures recommendation. The 235 in the video can run .045 flux core as well!

We do not at this time but if you watch the MIG portion of this video it is very similar it has the same sMIG and capabilities for MIG are the same.

The Rebel is designed and engineered in the USA. It is made in the ESAB plant in China.
They need to bring manufacturing to U.S.A , no excuses since President Trump has lowered Corp. taxes.
