Well for me, this is the first time I’ve seen this and I think really this is what I’ve been looking for for years a blend between a railroad simulator and a train simulator railroad operations really I’m so glad I watch this today. I haven’t enjoyed watching a tutorial in forever. This was really a lot of fun just to watch, can’t wait for the 15th. Thanks for putting it up.
Nice SP, scoring the pre-early access preview from the devs. I had no clear idea of exactly what this title would be, so I appreciate you giving us the look ahead.
I KNEW they might give you early access for this game! You tell it like it is! I cannot wait for this to come out and see what else the developers do with it!
This game really does look like it executes everything it aims to do perfectly. It nails the day to day operation of steam operated railroads in the 30's-40's. My only "gripe" is that I do wish there was more sim with the locomotive involved. This isn't a fault of the game, as that's not the intention. I am just a steam engine nerd. Really hope this game takes off so the devs get compensated for their hard work.
Well I am impressed with what a great product they have straight out of the box and early access to boot. I could ramble on about the models and scenery, but I would like to bring to attention a feature that may be easily overlooked. They have done excellent work on a actual Way Bill system that utilizes a Interchange track and keeps track of operations automatically. They have put considerable effort in to condensing the complex subjects of revenue service and company book keeping into a easy to use and understandable system. This feature may not be as eye catching as the models but it is just as important in presenting a realistic operating environment.
Wow, SP. That looks really great! I have it on my wish list and it will be a first day buy. Thanks again for emptying my walnut. You're a good friend😁Hey Dovetail, this is how a Railroad sim should look! No more 💸💰💸for you!
New name? Its fun. Love the operational aspect and the building of the RR completing lines etc. Tooonnnns of engines too - im still only on the starter 😖
I agree with the other comments I am so looking forward to this loving the attention to detail and the superb sounds. the 15th cannot come soon enough luckily Im on annual leave then until just after Christmas so plenty of time to play. Artful
Nice vid SP. I haven't heard of this sim before today. Thanks very much for posting this and getting the word out. I've always been a big fan of the later steam era and this might be THE thing. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Railroader and wish listed it on Steam! 👍👍
As much as I like "Virtual Rail Academy" it's refreshing seeing someone other than them play the game. Plus you give the people what they want by not playing in first person the whole time. Not dissing them, since they're super dedicated to the more educational side of railroad operations, but this imtype of gameplay is more what I prefer. Can't wait to play this.
@@schnauzahpowahz To be honest I'd LOVE that. If Run8 dialled the decades back to say the 50s with the first generation diesels that would be perfect. I do love my BL2s.
Ela is an unincorporated community in Swain County, North Carolina, United States, located along US 19, northwest of Whittier and east of Bryson City. The name is derived from ᎡᎳᏬᏗ (Elawodi) in the Cherokee language, which translates as "yellow hill." Ela was once the junction of the Appalachian Railway (1906-1935) and Southern Railway's Murphy Branch. --Wikipedia I think it is pronounced 'L-A', just like when people are talking about the city of Los Angeles and refer to it by its' initials.
I think I may have found a bug in railroader I'm supposed to deliver a box car filled with building materials to ela house I have the box car attached to the front of the engine and I'm trying to pull it in reverse onto the tracks so I can push it forward to the unloading dock but the engine will only pull it backwards at 0.2 mph the engine is losing water rapidly trying to pull it the engine will push it forward just fine though
It seems great but doesn't sounds great. I think sound is one of the most important things, very important for immersion. I want to hear the screamings of the iron.
I agree with sounds. Visual fidelity is nice but sound/phys/operation is important to me. I did have the sounds a bit low tbf and they recently posted a game patch for RRer with new sound vol options
I have been waiting for this to release since they first announced this simulator.
Fantastic game! I've been having a blast with it. Leaving a comment for the algorithm

With the waybills and the industries this reminds me of running a model railroad, so this a perfect sim for me.
Fuck yeah, glad they gave you early access I'm so excited for this.

It's always nice to see the town named after me getting some attention.
For the humor inept, the above statement is in fact a joke. Don't have a cow.

Very cool. The more peeks i see from this game, them more i wanna play it. C’mon 15th!

Its near dare i say perfect. Its gonna be hard for me to pick up another railsim for a while.
You gotta get it so we can run some ops Chris

Starsnu1, flys787, flyza787 are all one and the same. Starsnu1 is my old original google name🤓
have been waiting so long for this! finally!
You've done a great job of introducing this sim. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed, its a great little game
Can’t wait to play it!

Oh crap you got a prerelease! YOu da man!
the Railroads Online guys could take a few notes from this
1:20:03 I made the same mistake. I thought the station was a wood shed or something
🤣
The inside is modeled a ls well
also, did anyone else notice the brake shoes actually moving when they are applied? really cool
I'm ready for articulation! Here's hoping
Whistle sounds like a Lima 5 chime

The loco, cars and buildungs look a bit too clean. But it's still very nice.

hi
How's the fps? what are your specs?
Upscaled to 4k with 4070ti, 5800x, 32gb sys ram
60 fps solid. Its not very demanding but may be tougher on 5+ yr old hardware
no console 😢
No console yet my friend dont lose hope
@SunnySelena420 I hope so we don't have any good train sim here, especially steam ones.
