One of the sweetest love songs ever written. Such a simple idea, a couple of arms, a voice talking to a jumping, jittering heart, and the feeling that you've found the one who will treat you kindly and smile whenever you walk in the room for the rest of your days on earth (love doesn't ask for much). Country music has had a lot of great, great female voices --- Patsy Cline, Dolly, Brenda Lee, Reba, and others ... But I'd give the "finest ever" award to Reba.
Moving performance; can't believe this song was cut from the film version. I am sure Betty Hutton would have done it equal justice. The songwriters of yesteryear were masters of the spoken word as well; "I got lost, but look what I found" just about tells the entire story.
Watching Reba McEntire and Brent Barrett in Annie Get Your Gun was one of the best theater experiences I ever had, and one of the few times I cried with joy. Yes, I'm a softie, but this was exceptional.
I saw her do the show on Broadway, she was Unforgettable. In this Act 2 number she stepped through the fog on the ocean liner in a beautiful ball gown and sang against a curtain of starlight. It was rapturous. Please come back to the theater Reba!
Thank you for uploading this, saw her on Broadway and the role of Annie Oakley fit her like a glove, can't wait to hear how Megan Hilty does with the role.
@tsikibriky Reba recorded two promo tracks for the show that were included when you bought the program. They wanted to re-record the whole CD with her, but her label wouldn't allow her to do it.
Where did you get this mp3? I would love to get a hold of it, if you could possibly send it. I found "You Can't Get A Man With A Gun", but I never knew this was recorded too.
One of the greatest songs ever written
That is THE MOST PERFECT version of that song I've ever heard. I wish Reba could have recorded the entire soundtrack.
She covers all the bases. This is brilliant.
A magnificent interpretation of a magnificent Irving Berlin love song.
beautiful song @its best , no other can ever sing this as perfectly & magically as Reba. Thank you for this upload
She nails this great song - because her timing make it seem fresh. Terrific.

What a pleasant surprise. One of my favorite Irving Berlin songs done very beautifully by Reba! Thanks!

She was born to play this role! The best Annie IMO.
i am blessed to have been able to have seen her do this on brodway!
I love the way she sings this song! What a wonderful singing actress she has turned into.

I just saw Megan and thought she was wonderful. She has the accent down from playing Dolly Parton and Kristin Chenoweth roles.
So beautiful.
The best by the best. Irving Berlin by are a as Annie Oakley.

TheatreFan4 that's a shame since she was wonderful and in my mind better than Bernadette
Thank You for uploading I'm doing this price for my performance!
@BennyAndShannonShow The revival's version was a minute longer than the original production.
Is it possible to download this anywhere?
Where can I get copy of this?
Is there anybody how has "anything you can do (I can do better) with Reba?

The scoop before notes was effective sometimes. But tremendously overdone, in my opinion.
