She is SPECTACULAR! There needs to be a Broadway Revival of "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" with her as Molly. NOT the re-write!!!! Just do the damn show as Meredith Willson wrote it. She would be amazing.
Fun fact: She was originally cast as Molly Brown in Titanic the movie, but when she realized how long shooting was going to take she had to drop out because of conflicts, so Kathy Bates was brought in.
back in the 90's I did a revamped production of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers that was reorchestrated to have more of a county feel than the big MGM musicals and there was talk and rumors that the producers were going to pursue Reba to take the show on as Milly. How I wish that had come to fruition
Thank you so much for sharing this. I LOVE REBA. wish I were there and watch it live. Too bad they didn't film this whole show. i'm dying to see it. Reba is so brilliant and talented.
These clips are so wonderful that I'm wondering - hoping - that somewhere there is the ENTIRE McEntire/Barret performance recorded for all of us to see. THIS should have been a television special!
Reba knows best. But I'm still thankful for these brief clips. I still think she could pull it off! I saw Merman when she was 56 in the role and she was brilliant.
03:45 I Got Lost in his Arms is my favorite tune from this show, and she brings REBA Power to it. She was born to play this part! Is this the same production as the one Bernadette Peters was is? I didn't care for the updated arrangements.
Talk about genius casting, Annie Oakley is the role Reba was born to play.
Who has a bootleg of the entire show? I need to see this. What a gem!
Thank u for this awesome upload . Best Annie Oakley in the history of AGYG. Reba is insanely talented
She’s an Amazing singer and when it comes to acting the stage is where she belongs. I wish she’d do theatre again.
Reba is an unbelievable incredibly talented person! There is nothing she can't sing or do! Simply amazing. Thanks for sharing!
WOW! Barbara Cook talked about how great Reba was in this show. Soooo incredible. Why, oh, why didn't SHE open the show? Perfectly wonderful.
RIP Ms. Cook, Star of Broadway ⭐
Reba was perfection in this show!!! Loved seeing her so much!! And I agree - she should have opened the show!!

That woulda been great!
It certainly was one of my favorite Broadway experiences! Who knows? Maybe Reba will do "Hello, Dolly!" when Bette Midler leaves!
I wish I could have seen this! Too bad Reba didn't do a soundtrack!
Brilliant! And so perfect for the part.

Thanks for sharing this. SHE IS SUPER AMAZING! admire her to pieces! wish there were a full clip of this show.
There are two full songs recorded by Reba: I Got Lost and You Can’t Get A Man With A Gun. They may even be here on UA-cam somewhere!
Please put out a video of the show so this who couldn't see can
I love Reba McEntire.
Reba is Annie
How am i only know learning about this gem

+Star Sky CBS was going to film it, but would only offer a $5M budget and Reba would not sign on because she felt it would not do the project justice.

Unfortunately I don’t think it ever will. CBS wanted to do a remake but Reba felt the budget was too low and she declined.
I second that emotion!
Great part for you.
Nick Jonas was one of her little brothers the next year of the hit show!
