That's actually an interesting question, what if you were meant to be right handed, because aren't you born with your handedness?, and then you had to use your left hand because you don't have a right hand so your left hand adapted. Idc if it's a dumb question I actually think it's interesting.

I have the same arm as her so i feel qualified to answer. It depends what I'm washing my hand for. Usually I just wash my hand and not the stump because my hand is the only thing that got dirty. But if im covered in paint or something and its on my arm ill wash it.

I think I'm going to make a video demonstrating how I open medicine bottles with one hand or unscrew caps. Or drive. I've had customers follow me around when I worked retail - bombarding me with questions such as "does it hurt?" "how do you drive a car?" "ride a bike?" "do your hair?". I get that I look as though things are difficult (a lot of things are!!) and I'm very guilty of looking at people doing things with 2 hands and get jealous, I think to myself that they are wasting the GIFT of 2 hands and that I would handstand walk out of my house and clap all day in between giving double "F YOU" fingers and typing on two separate keyboards simultaneously, ending the day by doing elaborate braids all over my head while juggling glass plates. That would be day one lol....
It was just an example to show how she uses a knife... I don't think she actually eats pizza with a knife and a fork (plus she said she doesn't use knives that often)
Grace, I love this video. My son was born with limb deficiency he has a small palm and little buds where his fingers should be. Your humour is brilliant my son makes jokes about it , he came back from school and was like "I beat someone at badminton today, you could say I won single handedly " lol. The questions have made me chuckle, the nose blowing was very funny, I uses one hand , two handed nose blowing is ridiculous , they must be really heavy tissues. These are the same people who take selfies with one two hands. Have a brilliant day.

My younger sister was born with Symbrachydactyly (she basically has half a palm and little nubbins) We always get strange looks but honestly its been 7 years now and I couldn't imagine her with a normal hand it's what makes her unique and beautiful in her own way.

Then I remembered my brain isn't normal and I've also found other methods for simple things [like doing dots on my hand to know what day it is; how I paint my nails; a photo of my medication to see the doses; I used to often write stuff on my hand to remember it, I got tired of having to rewrite it somewhere else so I just took a picture of what was on my hand: a photo of what's packed in my bag, because I forget what I've packed]
I lost both my legs above the knees in 2014, and I've learned to do everything different. I get asked all kinda questions by friends. It's just something you're used to after a while :)
Have you seen mad max fury road? Charlize theron has only one hand in it and her arm also ends at the exact same point where yours does, like right after the elbow. You might not care that much but it's pretty cool I think.
