My favorite Motrized Wheelbarrow on UA-cam! It makes me wish I still had mine.
My favorite one too!
I want to see MORE! MUCH, MUCH MORE! Love this beautiful 521 series truck!
Thanks Dan!
Nice work with the contact fix for the indicators. I always brush on a bit of clear dielectric grease to prevent contact corrosion.
Funny anecdote, my 88 Toyota Corolla just had a rear indicator bulb go out today. I just had to change out the original factory Toshiba branded bulb after 35 years of functionality. Amazing life on those bulbs.
Yep, my "Survivor" Mitsubishi Station had the original Kioto bulbs in it. I just found that my Infiniti QX80 also has the Kioto housings. Good stuff.
Was my first vehicle in 1982...was a 1972, paid $200, I painted it with 13 cans of spray paint from Bradlees with 1 can of black for racing stripes...I sold it for $400 🙂...Tried to buy one that was sitting for 20 years at Collier AMC in NC that had a tree growing out of it...he wanted $800 ....Nope!
Lol, love the stories!!
Hate it when I hear about these beauties having trees growing out of them! Makes me cringe.
As a owner of a 320,520,521 and two 620's I approve this..and yes they all run and drive
Sweet. Datsunville at your house.
I learned a few things today as your videos are educational and appreciated.
Thank you!
So nice of you. Thanks for watching!
Kids today don't understand those vent windows and their ability to make you feel like you had AC when you definitely did NOT. haha
I grew up sitting in the middle. The vent window was the key to survival.
Such a cool little truck! It’s a bummer they don’t built true mini-trucks these days anymore.
Man, I agree 100%. How's the new job going?
@@ProjectTimeGarage it’s going! As evidenced by the fact that I haven’t posted a video in a month, you can tell my life is less enjoyable than it used to be 😂…things are improving though I should be back on the projects soon. Thanks for asking brother!
I quite agree! Gas prices have gone way out of control, we need these smaller, fuel efficient 4 cylinder cars and trucks once again out there.
Hey! Whare ya been? Miss seeing you on the internet working on your beautiful little truck here. I love that 521 series truck, wish they could only come back into production once again.
Beautiful truck. Love it
Thanks!!
I miss my 521, had to sell my Datsus collection when I moved out of the USA.
Hate to hear that!
There is no doubt that horn works. Lol!
Lol, scared the hell outta me a few times......
@@ProjectTimeGarage I would of done the same to me too. I probably would of jumped and hit my head off the roof. Lol
Memories. My high school ride from 1971 to 1974. I traded it and some $ don’t remember how much for a 62 corvette with a 327 and 4 speed.
I think you made a good trade.
@@ProjectTimeGarageMight be a good trade, however, I would rather have the Datsun/Nissan 521 series truck, I love them that much. By the way, what are ya doing with the one you picked up from the junkyard? Anything on that?
looking good!
Thanks!
If I am not mistaken you’re going to have to use a LED flasher if you’re going to have led bulbs in the circuit. Hope this helps
Yeah, LED's don't provide enough resistance to heat the flasher relay enough to flash. Thing is that I still have traditional bulbs on the outside of the truck. The only LEDs are the indicators inside. Other strange thing is they've worked fine for almost a year now. My theory is that I'm not getting a full 12V from the flasher relay, or to the flasher relay.
@@ProjectTimeGarage Your flasher is still too fast, I had this same problem on my 620. if you put an LED bulb anywhere in the flasher circuit it lowers the overall resistance. A swap to a good LED flasher unit was well worth it to me and made the lights stay on longer for each flash
Love the 521 content. I'm looking to get me one for a project
FB Marketplace is where you'll find one. I constantly see them.
Would you be able to make a video on how to adjust or replace the e-brake/parking brake. Or even get your help on how to replace one. Thank you!
Actually, yes I'd be happy to. Mine needs adjustment anyway.
@@ProjectTimeGaragethank you so much!!! All your videos have help me fix my Datsun.
😘😘love it man. Mines down with an alternator/voltage reg issue right now. Hopefully up and running soon. Any tips on the white walls and how to keep ‘em white? Keep up the good work brother.
Yes, this is what I use: amzn.to/3WYf6Z7
Seriously, in order to keep your whitewall tires white, get a spray bottle of bleach and spray the bleach on your whitewall tires when you wash your truck, then rinse. That's all you have to do, simple yet effective.
Hello there! My son has a question about the clutch on these trucks. What kind of fluid do they take for the clutch reservoir?
Standard Brake fluid.
Cool little truck, needs a 4bt or maybe even a yenmar diesel!?!?
If it wasn't so original, I would consider it.
@@ProjectTimeGarageDon't EVER consider it! Its beautiful the way it is, my friend.

I'll see what I can do.
