Every time I see Danish Pete playing, I feel like I don't know how to play guitar. One of the most inspiring guitar player with amazing guitar tones in my opinion.
The chemistry between you guys and Danish Pete is unlike any other guest you've had on the show. You can feel the mutual respect and friendship.... and it leads to some really funny moments as well! I'd love to see Pete on the show more often, not just because he is a great and knowledgeable player but mainly because of how you three play off each other! haha
The note selection Pete uses playing clean, reminds me very much of how Bobby McFerrin selects notes when he’s singing freestyle i.e. lots of soulful jumps between registers. A great episode as always gents. Three years plus of videos and every one of them has something worthwhile to absorb.
@@RobFlaxMusic - definitely (or at least maybe as part of) say an episode on 'essentials/utility' pedals alongside things like using an EQ well and similar tips. Def interesting to explore using reverse looping, half speed, layering, ect to mix it up too
Whole show on loopers from simple to complex would be so freaking cool. I love the sound Pete gets from a simple Ditto. I couldn’t get that good a sound with his rig and the most advanced looper ever.
Only started playing again recently due to stumbling across my first proper guitar. Radiohead are like a drug for me to which I was attempting help to overcome... Then this show happened. Incredible job guys you have come from nowhere to being my favourite show anywhere on UA-cam.
I love the bit at the end...Dan's laughter is contagious.. Danish pete is a top notch guest but then again all your guest are to be honest. two thumbs way up guys thank you... 👍👍😎.
Man that jam around the 26 minute mark is just amazing. All three of you are amazing players. The number of times I shook my head at a tasty lick is too many to count. Pete is just fantastic man.
Guys I've been watching y'all from the beginning. Seeing someone like Pete on the show makes me smile. That said I'd like to challenge you to get Mike Hermans on the show. He has influenced my thoughts on gear more than any other demo guy and almost as much as TPS. I've never even seen his face!
Thats it! This last few months of jamming along to ye every friday and to pete any time he's loopin and what naht and basically listening to a whole heap of music and playing, me and my mates are starting a band. For the first time in about a decade I will be playing guitar in said band and i can not wait for it! I got my TPS inspired pedal board and a 90's lester and its gonna be a wet dry setup and YAAAASSSSSS!!!
I hope this means Pete is potentially touring in some capacity again! While being at andertons is entertaining to us, it would be a true gift to see some live performances. I understand he has family he wants to be with though.
Guys, your show is always the funniest most instructive guitar stuff ever on YT...but Pete was a considerable upgrade on both things. LOL Thanks for that!
Pete getting grumpy over product usability is hilarious! Great video, guys - thanks for sharing the process (and letting us listen to that awesome board with Pete's beautiful playing)
Damn, not that Dan struggles with strats at all-he sounded great!-but the second Mick picks it up it is just perfection. It is so clear how at home he is there!
Always know it’s going to be good when Danish Pete walks in the room....or should I say climbs into your bed! LOL! Great episode today! Best Three Stooges out there in UA-cam land. Can’t get enough of these episodes! Until next week, cheers!
I love this so much. Laughed out loud multiple times. Just pure fun and as a guitarist and fan of TPS, could watch a pedal build video every single week (on top of the usual goodies you guys produce). I always learn something new.
I'm gonna say one thing. Dan, I've been thinking about this for a while: every time you play a strat, it looks like you feel at home. Maybe I'm wrong, I know you had a really dear one that you say cannot be replaced, but still, hearts learn to love again :)
I always pictured Pete's peddles being covered in sticky stuff, hair and dust with dents all over them. Tone dents and tone dust. Kudos to Dan for the Gig rig, too. After all these years I am still amazed by how amazing his boards look and function. My intentions are good, but my boards always look like a car wreck when I am finished.
Wow...that Oswald Strat style guitar sounds absolutely amazing (and of course the GR2 and pedals and what not). I'm hoping the Oswald guitar guy has to quit his day job soon cause that guitar's the unsung hero of this episode...sounds fantastic and doesn't get nearly the attention it deserves.
Another great video! Always good to see Pete. I actually appreciate being able to see you guys figure things out as you go along, in regards to programming everything into G2. Cheers from Michigan, gentlemen!!
Volkswagen was a worldwide success after the war because they had a good product (the Beetle) AND a worldwide commitment to local service centres with trained mechanics to fix or service your vehicle. After watching this I can see G2 is an awesome product. When are the local Dans going to be available? Then again, I could just go to the pub like Mick... Impressive episode, guys. And that’s the second superb Oswald Strat I’ve seen on UA-cam. You guys need to meet and do a show with Dave Simpson.
Whoa, if you gents do an Expensive Chords episode, a sidebar into that jazzy in-between bit Mick did over the looper would be something I'd be keen on watching
Epic, you guys killed it today. Love watching Dan geek on making boards for people. The Dane, man he has the chops. Enjoyed fellas. Have a great weekend. 👍
I’m so everything right now; jealous of Pete’s board, so in love with that pink strat, really needing to make more use of my looper.... TPS just gets better and better.
Coming back from early guitar retirement, and painstakingly relearning after injury, along with slowly trying to fathom video and photography to document it. .. I just wanted to take a sec to say thank you for your work. Never a shortage of the inspiration any of us next-gen creators need, and we all owe you a debt!
@@colaboytje Aw man, thank you very much! I made it sound more dramatic than it is, I reckon. I'm past most of the problems now, it's just a lack of strength/stamina, and a few quirky occasional missteps from my hand I have to deal with.
We wish you all the best with that and hope in the positive way possible that your adversity at least offers you some opportunity for a new and inspiring approach!
I know what you mean. I broke my left ringfinger a couple of years ago. When the surgeon said that they had to insert a pin, my first question was: will I be able to play guitar again. Luckily he said yes. But, because my tendim in my finger was cut off as well, they had to re-attach it. That causes it to be shorter than it normally is. So, I still can't bend the top of my ringfinger like I used to, making it harder to play as I sometimes mute a string because I can't bend enough. It's a pain in the ass, so I started learning to play more with my pinky, where I would usually use my ringfinger. It takes time and it's damn frustrating. But, I still enjoy playing so much. However, I will not be able to play with the same strength and speed as before. And that also has a benefit: playing slower and thinking about the melody more than on speed riffs. Anyhow, I went on a TPS style tangent. :-) Enjoy playing!

Pete is great; the other two.....
Pete is radical!
Dan: "One thing you haven't tried before is the wet/dry thing"
Pete: "Well, not on a pedalboard.."
LMAO
He is so quick with those.
The man is a God amongst men!
"I'm alone all the time, mostly in the corner of the shower, 'til the water runs cold. Crying." I'm still laughing.
"Wet, Dry... and Moist".... and "I don't play with myself.. in the shower". So much Pete in this video :)
Everything with Pete is a joke. He is so damn cool.
Best intro ever! This is starting to turn from being the best gear-show on UA-cam to being the best sitcom... I LOVE IT
Kalle André Johansson more like a Rom Com with these three 😂
Dan is “strangely attractive” and a “beautiful man” with his “hairy Arms.”
Oh man, when Pete popped out from under the covers....that was GOLDEN
Been watching Pete through Andertons for years now and I just love his playing. It’s so full of feeling.

Pete played for Helene Fischer? Thats insane. That absolutely raised my respect for her

Hearing you guys play within the context of harmony and rhythm adds so much. The looper works!
33:24 After a long discussion of not talking over the reverb trails, Dan talks over the reverb trail. Genuinely love the show, you are all awesome.
Pete’s the best! His on-screen personality and antics are only bested by his playing. More Pete!
That Oswald guitar looks and sounds great.
Dan putting boards together is ASMR

Brilliant! I can see why Pete was absolutely thrilled with this incredibly Innovative, master work of craftsmanship, technology and art!
it´s a pleasure to watch how passionate you all are when it comes to craftsmanship and tone.
When Dan and Mick gave Pete his guitar back to jam over his loop and he just brought all the dynamics out of his hands immediately : 0
