Every time I see Danish Pete playing, I feel like I don't know how to play guitar.

The note selection Pete uses playing clean, reminds me very much of how Bobby McFerrin selects notes when he’s singing freestyle i.e. lots of soulful jumps between registers. A great episode as always gents. Three years plus of videos and every one of them has something worthwhile to absorb.

I know what you mean. I broke my left ringfinger a couple of years ago. When the surgeon said that they had to insert a pin, my first question was: will I be able to play guitar again. Luckily he said yes. But, because my tendim in my finger was cut off as well, they had to re-attach it. That causes it to be shorter than it normally is. So, I still can't bend the top of my ringfinger like I used to, making it harder to play as I sometimes mute a string because I can't bend enough. It's a pain in the ass, so I started learning to play more with my pinky, where I would usually use my ringfinger. It takes time and it's damn frustrating. But, I still enjoy playing so much.
However, I will not be able to play with the same strength and speed as before. And that also has a benefit: playing slower and thinking about the melody more than on speed riffs.
Anyhow, I went on a TPS style tangent. :-) Enjoy playing!
