What is the lure you used to catch the last Jack (Yellow/Orange?, single hooks)? Going to Mayto for my B-day in mid November. I have a 8.5' ML (3/8-1 1/4 lures) with a Quantum 4k w/20lb braid, a 9' MH (2-5 lures) with a Shimano Sahara 5k w/30lb braid and hope to have (B-day?) a Seage 10.5' MH (2-6 lures) with a Saltist 6k w/40lb braid. What lures and leaders do you suggest? Thanks in advance for your gracious advice!
What were your tackle setups? We are going to Neuvo Vallarta in august for 2 weeks Bringing a 5 piece 11ft Diawa Ardito rated 2 to 6 ounce and a Diawa Saltist 6500 with 500 yards of 50 lb braid
@wltmar8 I've got yo zuri surface cruiser poppers , some youzuri slow sinking twitchbaits, rapala xraps, bucktails, some saltwater heddon spooks and rapala top water baits.....I think I have a couple Sebile minnowbaits too.....plus some live target shrimp jigs and weighted soft swimbaits plus some lures and casting minnowjigs I also bring a 3 piece 7ft Penn Battle 4000 travel combo with 30lb braid for lighter stuff than the big rod What is a GT ice cream BTW?

This place is about 2 hours from Puerto Vallarta. It's called Mayto. I stayed at the Rinconcito hotel.
