"Dated features" is not a drawback, it's what gives the C5 character. "Dated" is a good thing, including radio, etc that's why I like keeping things stock. You could say this about other cars like Ferraris.
Had my 02 vert since Dec 2001. Picked it up between Christmas & New Years from McCluskey Chev in Cincy. Drove home with top down. Typical C5 problems, headlights, wiper motor, glove box latch, ecbm, seat rocking....What’d I miss? Keep threatening to get rid of it for a used CTS-V...dealer offered me $7500 for trade. 86k miles, 6 sp, memory, hud, no mods.
I Love my ‘03 Z, Bella! 3rd and 4th gears are naturally off the neutral mark, making it easy to shift and get that TORQUE feeling on your backside! That FRC style is the sexiest Vette style. IMO
The design has aged tremendously well. Every year it looks sleeker and more purposeful than traffic. I prefer fastback style on bigger coupes, but the Z06/FRC notchbacks make the car stand out even more, such a small cabin 'bubble' of glass above the body. Lean and mean.
It's a beautiful car. It looks like something out of a Speed Racer episode. ( Now , that's dated) Its a Hot Wheel , that you can actually drive. I love my C5.

The C5 in my opinion looks like a Corvette should. They never get dated. I remember my dad driving one home when they first came out. He worked at the Corvette assembly plant for 42 years. So Corvette is in my blood. Dad nor I like thees new ones that look like a foreign car....especially the mid engine.
I got a triple black 04 that's the fastest car I've ever owned 19 inch wheels all the way with 255 on the front and they fit 285 in the back and they just fit quarter inch to the body. Looking for spacers I got horses also and I like the bubbling sound
Is there any problems with the car I should worry about? I’m 15 I want to work to save up for this car so I can use it not to race or anything but just to have fun driving. I think I should drive more to get a feel for this specific engine but I just love this car so much lol
I actually really like the "dated" look. A car just looks better when it doesn't have a video screen in the middle of the dash. These were the last generation not to have a screen.

My C5 convertible is a beautiful girl!
I love 💕 her
I have a 2001 c5 convertible. 29,000 miles. It's so sexy, I get complements every time I drive it.
Hey look at bright side, old less complicated electronics, means less things will break, or easy fix/swap aftermarket parts
my thoughts exactly!
Yep and a C2 split is pretty dated also but I'll bet few would care..
i have an 2004 and it doesnt have an antenna. atrleast it isnt visible ... mine doesnt feel dated at all. its on my videos check it out i just put a cam in it.
"Dated features" is not a drawback, it's what gives the C5 character. "Dated" is a good thing, including radio, etc that's why I like keeping things stock. You could say this about other cars like Ferraris.
Smoothest looking corvette
Had my 02 vert since Dec 2001. Picked it up between Christmas & New Years from McCluskey Chev in Cincy. Drove home with top down. Typical C5 problems, headlights, wiper motor, glove box latch, ecbm, seat rocking....What’d I miss? Keep threatening to get rid of it for a used CTS-V...dealer offered me $7500 for trade. 86k miles, 6 sp, memory, hud, no mods.
I have a 2002 red ZO6.. Love it!
Me too 😍
Me three!!. And her name's Elvira!!
Looking for a nice C-5 Z06. My son got one and now it's on!
How you only have 11k subs is beyond me. Such great and professional videos. Keep it up
You could say good things take time 😀
Great vid. I love my ecs blown 2004 z06.
What's not to love!! Had my torch red C5, 99, since 2002, 133,000 miles. 👍🇺🇸
It's a beautiful car. It looks like something out of a Speed Racer episode. ( Now , that's dated) Its a Hot Wheel , that you can actually drive. I love my C5.
True that!!
I don't like that 57' chevy... its dated lol
One thing for guys looking for a C5 2001 and older have the iffy PCM and weak drive shaft.
I own a 2003 red Z06. Love it and love your video.
Great video TFS!!! Looks awesome in red.. my friend has a silver convertible C5 2004 and he loves it..
we are in 2018/11 but this is my dream car :D
Love my 98 C5. I'll never sell it. My boy will be driving it one day.
z06 is king of the c5 cars. tons of power and great balanced vehicle. it is no secret why a c5 z06 has won the optima street car challenge against all the greatest modded cars 3 years in a row!!!!
I came across your video and srry as a previous vette owner the weight on the 2000 c5 is 3246 and yes I agree the car is a little out dated and unfortunately it takes a ton of mods in order to keep up with the c6 or c7 but still it's a beautiful c5 fyi
Bought a '02 C5 with 15,000 miles on it. I've had it 3 years. Just bought a new 2019 Stingray. If I want to just cruse, I take the Stingray. If I want to enjoy and have fun, the C5 is my choice. I'll never get rid of my C5. 2019 is a keeper too.
I don’t think these look dated at all!!
Exactly this guy doesn’t know his ass from ice cream. The car looks beautiful.
I absolutely love my C5 convertible Corvette, even with an automatic. I installed the Borla Stinger exhaust, and she sings. Is the car dated? Yeah but she is a 20 years old and gorgeous. Would you say that a twenty year gorgeous woman is dated?... I didn't thnk so.
Yeah my 98 doesn't have HUD. Sadly I wish it did I love the way they look. Wonder if I could add one don't wanna guess how much that'll cost though.
Nice car. Live right down the road from that park. About to buy a c5
Salute to all Corvette fellows
I ❤my yellow C6Z06
I don't think I've seen a dated Corvette ever lol
1980's pace car
Is there any problems with the car I should worry about? I’m 15 I want to work to save up for this car so I can use it not to race or anything but just to have fun driving. I think I should drive more to get a feel for this specific engine but I just love this car so much lol
Stock or modified. C5z is badass for the coin. ‘03 Zo6 with a blower for this guy :)
How can it not be dated??? It’s 20 god damn years old. SMH. LOVE MY C5
Got a 03 Z06 with backup camera Bluetooth radio upgrade and cold air intake
Pic is of current ride but my screename says it all. Nice ride!!
What a great car, these will bring big money in decades to come.✌👍
@Shifted Perspective I've got a 2004 C5Z you can test out, slightly modded like this FRC was.
I need one of these. Hopefully next year
I actually really like the "dated" look. A car just looks better when it doesn't have a video screen in the middle of the dash. These were the last generation not to have a screen.
I have a B8 Audi S4 in Columbus, stage 1, few other little things done to it, clean car. Let me know if you want to do a review on it. Otherwise love the videos man keep up the good work!
I wish my tail pipes stuck out like that. Sooo cool!
Best corvette ever made
Thanks, I like it better than C8 now.
