@@jhs5150 Hey there, I had to pay a local to me shop to take the new 3.73 differential out because there was small crack in the differential casing, but no one saw it until after gear oil was added it leaked bad. If anyone is shy about modding their C5, don’t. I modded my brand new C5 OO vert for six years until it is where it needs to be. Still have her since 2000 with zero reliability issues….
How difficult was it to install your pioneer radio? Is there a youtube video out there for the install? I have a C5 and of course use the bluetooth connection through the radio, and it is massively inconvenient. Also, I see you upgraded the shifter knob- did you upgrade to a short throw shifter (MGW, Hurst, etc)?
That is mine as well, not cats, mufflers just new pipes totally unrestricted and loud just as I like it. Also have the same style wheels which I think is awesome looking..
Great content 👍 thoroughly enjoyed the show. Nice car! My ‘04 C5 is completely unmolested stock. Plenti of car for me. For now. It is my daily driver unless winter is here. Soon I’ll be back in the driver seat having a ball. Went for a spin the other day, just waiting on the tabs in the mail now 😬 my first Vette was a ‘93 black C4. Loved that car! but longed for an upgrade 🥶
Just found your channel, nice to see a number of vettes in NH... other than my poor lil C4. In WY at the moment, driving a C5. Enjoyed the mods list :)
Good vid. I feel like my 03 ZO6 is too quiet so I want louder pipes, but I also respect the Titanium exhaust so I hesitate changing it. But I've done Borla on other cars and like it quite a bit. They just demand a lotta cheddar for it.
I had a 2002. I replaced the stock oval exhaust with a factory Z06 one from the same year. I think that was like a $200 mod, very nice. I had to get the Column Lock worked on, and then the bypass mod for that. You get locked from driving your car home, with the key in the ignition and the engine running, and a message on the display saying "pull key, wait ten seconds", or something like that. Your viewers are telling you, mods that don't affect performance are not going to thrill. If you see how much people spend on headers and exhaust, that do nothing for power, you will get the comment about "buy a supercharger". The C5 was a car for its day. 350 horses WAS a lot of power, but quickly became commonplace, and car companies found ways to get speed with higher gear counts. Anyway, back to mine. The lexan roof panel spider cracked and looked like crap. Tint shops wouldn't touch it. I guess yours may not wear like that, since you park indoors. In general, mine was just OK, until things started breaking that even the dealer could not figure out. Mysterious failures to start, etc.. It was a blood red, with the chrome 5 spoke wheels, and a factory-installed spoiler that was unique and awesome. Sold it at 60k miles and bought a 2004 Z06 with no miles from Carmax for $27k. So you can see again, more power in a better car, was easy to do, even within the Chevy family back then. No need to dick around with head lights and blingy things.
I have a 2002. There was a recall for the steering wheel column lock which the dealer will fix for free. I didn't know they had a recall until I looked at the service bulletin for my car. I had a 1997 that I always worried at some time I was going to get the dreaded ' Steering Column Lock" on my display. I also have a C6 and I don't have to worry about that issue anymore!! Love these Vette's!!
Was wondering the the shifter handle brand and best place to get one, I not a fan of the shifter knob size on my car, any information would be appreciated bud, thanks!
My suspension light came on after the vette doctor in Melbourne messed with my ebcm so so does that mean it's bad or they did something wrong since it says I can't go over 80mph help me please it's a 99 with the 3selective ride, ty very much 💯‼️
Wheels are an easy mod. Easy to return to stock for the purist if needed. The headlights are a must. Honestly, I am leaving my old school headlights in my 78 Trans Am simply because I never drive at night, so why bother? I did go with all aluminum snowflake wheels, which woke up the car. The new Year One wheels are awesome. Sorry that my comments are about a different make and model, but I am shopping for a C5 as we speak. I agree with your mods. They do not detract from the originality of the C5. Lights should be bright. Who walks through the woods with old school flashlights during hunting season? Nobody. They use LED all the way.
Headlights are great , bad headlights limit your safe top speed... get everything working as designed so you have a good baseline. 1.) Go to a driving school. 2.) Headlights 3.) Performance alignment 4.) Ditch the skip shift. 5.) Tires , Tires, Tires ...
On mine there's an annoying sound coming from the rear left of the driver position. Sounds like it's close to ear height. It sounds a bit like a bee trapped inside an empty soda can, so at first I thought it was the speaker grill rattling, but no. What could it be? Could it be some sort of electrical buzz?
I have a 2004 Corvette and need an answer. Pretty sure the computer is screwed and needs to be replaced along with misc. other stuff. (was informed that it may have been a flood car) What is the shop in Hudson or Nashua that did some of your work?
For you young guys the biggest thing is keep on top of tires/brakes/fluids Mods later Vararam intake and SpeedEngineering headers free up alot of power

If anyone is shy about modding their C5, don’t. I modded my brand new C5 OO vert for six years until it is where it needs to be. Still have her since 2000 with zero reliability issues….
The problem with wheel spacers is that they add the worst kind of weight to a car- rotational, unsprung mass.
officially, that touch screen is fire it alone makes your c5 look as if it just rolled off the assembly line 😂
That spacer is THICCC
I did a muffler delete on my ‘04 Z06, but left the cats on it. Mine is loud too. Teeth rattling loud.
Hi, can you please let me know exactly what I need for the pioneer screen mod?

@@DriveHub Didn't know we could purchase a new bezel to fit the 7" Double Din display. Awesome. Now I have to do this too.
That is mine as well, not cats, mufflers just new pipes totally unrestricted and loud just as I like it. Also have the same style wheels which I think is awesome looking..
I like the boat sound :D
Great content 👍 thoroughly enjoyed the show. Nice car! My ‘04 C5 is completely unmolested stock. Plenti of car for me. For now. It is my daily driver unless winter is here. Soon I’ll be back in the driver seat having a ball. Went for a spin the other day, just waiting on the tabs in the mail now 😬 my first Vette was a ‘93 black C4. Loved that car! but longed for an upgrade 🥶
Already at 1k bro! These vlog type videos 👌🏾
Nice Corvette and great upgrades
@@loosearrow5150 You need the LMC5 module.
If you needed a black drivers side rear view mirror, where would you get it? I have 97
Was wondering the the shifter handle brand and best place to get one, I not a fan of the shifter knob size on my car, any information would be appreciated bud, thanks!
Bro you so funny in random parts fw it
My suspension light came on after the vette doctor in Melbourne messed with my ebcm so so does that mean it's bad or they did something wrong since it says I can't go over 80mph help me please it's a 99 with the 3selective ride, ty very much 💯‼️
Great video, can you buy me a Corvette and put it on the company card so I can use all of these mods?
Say no more! ❤️
clutch will definitely feel different with the park brake still on
Omgosh you're so funny! Love this video.
I added the sleepy eyes on my C5 and it looks Awesome!!!!! Check them they would look great on your Vette
2.) Headlights
3.) Performance alignment
4.) Ditch the skip shift.
(was informed that it may have been a flood car)
What is the shop in Hudson or Nashua that did some of your work?
My c 5 has those exact wheels but chrome and my car is black I will say 5 spokes are nice I love it
For you young guys the biggest thing is keep on top of tires/brakes/fluids
Mods later
Vararam intake and SpeedEngineering headers free up alot of power
Super late but the front wheels get dirtier because the front brakes are the ones that take most of the brake load
all mods are good,
Amen to that buddy!
WHERE DO YOU GET THAT PIONEER DASH?

How do you figure these mods are a Must Do🤔 I’ve left my Vette Stock for 16 yrs and have fully enjoyed it with very little expense or maintenance.👍
The headlights are objectively terrible and need to be upgraded.
He clearly stated it’s in his opinion
Nice car I have a 99 c5 same color love it.
19:31 you do a great Grinch face...lol. Love the car and your Videos by the way.
Slap a set of CCW 505A wheels on it. I don't think I've ever seen a nicer set of wheels for the C5. HRE also makes some sick wheels.
This is David again I forgot to tell you what I liked I like your tail light mod and I like that radio
Solid video. Just got my C5 the other day. Aside from some preventative maintenance stuff, I'll probably start with lighting maybe an exhaust in regards to mods.
Lower on stock bolts with billstein sports. Z06 shifter, cat back exhaust and more hp.
You can never go wrong with a silver c5
