They are almost certainly independents using lower level hardware, hence why the footage is being released and not secret like the main report is.
If you believe this video it doesn't look like it took much equipment to get to this pipeline.

If a newspaper can charter a dinghy with an underwater camera and find the damage, you can be assured that every interested government can and already has been down and done a thorough inspection. Tell-tale signs of internal versus external sabotage will be blast marks, not metal curling as the pipeline operated at a min 2500 psi and so would have peeled outward regardless of which side the charge was set.
I don´t think it would. Ambient pressure around that depth is around 1000 psi. That leave "just" 1500 psi in pressure-difference to the surrounding waters. Tensile strength of steel is around 40000psi. The pressure difference therefore is less than 3% of the pressure difference needed to permanently deform the surrounding metal.

How would you even get a charge inside the pipeline? It's obviously an external charge.
At the time of the explosion the pressure in the pipe was ~100 BAR which is ~1500 PSI.
Probably done by divers from a lockout submarine.

The main problem is diplomatic and administrative problem which is taking time. Give the same work to any Chinese company they will repair it in a week at lower cost

Danish and Sweden was already know the Culprit, since they had Advanced technology, yet the culprit was deemed as "State Secret" or "Goverment Classified", strange since they used blame anything on Russia as usual.

To me and I’m no expert , but the pipe is blown out , As if the explosion came from inside the pipe , you can clearly see that in this video (0:19) , also there are signs of buckling to the top left of the pipe where it’s bent outwards , also this is no easy fix , sea water will already damaging the pipeline

It's not been the first time a Russian sub has been spotted doing malicious work near pipelines and infrastructure
It seems this is one of those cases that been pre planned as back up since decade. There's still articles to be found as they been reported many times. Tbh i feel Russia reacted a tid bit disappointed on the explosion given they might have planned more before but perhaps been foiled
The pipe is under high pressure, the explosion created a weak point for the pipe to burst. As the pipe bursts its getting bent outwards. Go head and try to make a pressure tank look bent inwards.
@@peterlustig2048 was it under high pressure at the time? Supplies were turned off I believe. Granted, they would maintain some pressure to prevent crushing (from the external water pressure) and make leak detection possible but not sure they would use high pressure during supply stoppages.
@@thebrowns5337 It was running at reduced capacity, but that does probably not mean that the pressure was reduced. After the incident at 10m wide bubble column was detected at surface level that lasted for days.

That is not a gas pipeline. No where near thick enough. Should be 4 layers, inner steel, insulation, outer steel and a concrete layer to wiegh the pipe down to keep it from floating. Shameless reporting. This is not an LNG pipe.

Why would you not use that remote camera to identify specific areas of the undamaged pipeline to prove it's the Nord Stream? We get a few seconds of video of a broken pipe and without any sort of identification or verification we're told this is it?

Small charge pierced and caused gas to abruptly go out. The pipe then opened like a tuna can due to the incredible difference in pressure between in and out. fracture in pipes usually are most of the time along the length due to difference in stress state.

I see there's an obvious concerted social media campaign to say the explosion was from some device supposedly sent 100s of miles inside a pressurized natural gas pipe that exploded from the inside.
Imagine being dumb enough to think anybody would believe that and getting paid to make it up?

The reason the pipe is bent outwards is due to the pressure of the gas escaping the pipe, it’s the same as popping a balloon.
So basically a random person could just drill a hole in the pipe and wait for it to pop?

Initial charge would have ruptured the pipe and ignited gas causing a secondary short-lived explosion which pushed the metal pipe outwards.

There can be no spontaneous explosion in the pipe. It is pure methane and there is no oxygen in the pipe which would be required for an explosion to occur.

Die Versuche Deutschlands, nach Schweden eine eigene Untersuchung durchzuführen, richten sich an ein internes Publikum. Es muss gezeigt werden, dass Deutschland irgendwie auf das reagiert hat, was ihm angetan wurde. Wenn nichts unternommen wird, ist das ziemlich unschicklich. Wie führt man eine medizinische Untersuchung bei einer Vergewaltigung durch, wenn das Opfer dreimal geduscht und alle Spuren von seinem Körper abgewaschen worden sind?
Die Tatsache, dass Schweden diese Aufgabe vor Deutschland übernimmt, zeigt, dass die USA Deutschland nicht vertrauen. Wenn Schweden also sagt, dass es wegen der Vertraulichkeit allein ermitteln wird, stellt es den Zweck der Vertraulichkeit in Frage. Im Wesentlichen spielt Schweden die Rolle eines Ermittlers, der sagt, dass der Vergewaltigungsbeschuldigte nicht laut genannt werden kann, weil es sich um eine sehr bekannte und wichtige Person handelt.

The simplest way of achieving this is to send a torpedo. You pretty much give a torpedo some coordinates or a point of reference, launch it and you’re done, it takes like 5 minutes and there was a US fleet with this kind of capability in the area during the incident, as well as numerous US military bases surrounding the area with this capability as well.
There were also Russian, Polish, British, in fact ships of all nations, because guess what, it is one of the busiest seaways in the world.
