Yeah, GTI's are not going to beat a lot of cars in a drag race, It's not trying to, but it's more of a complete package when it comes to handling and low end performance that's just a blast to drive! I love my MK7. The people who don't understand GTI's most likely have never driven one. I have my Cobb tune coming, can't wait!
I have the injezn intake and a cts turbo inlet pipe installed, no software cuz I dont want to void warranty so will wait later down the road. Also a turbo muffler delete but havnt installed yet. I would definitely recommend getting a turbo intlet pipe, you can tell it ads a little bit more boost and a really easy install.
if you haven't gotten the turbo muffler delete yet go with the full discharge kit which will delete the turbo muffler and increase the air going from the other side of the turbo.
Anything with out a tune won’t make power. The stock tune will always regulate the vehicle to run stock no matter how much air you think you’re getting.
Punky MK7 this is when the car was stage 1 cobb accessport with intake only. Everything else was stock. Even now at stage 2 I'm still on stock trans tune with no problems
Nice video, good way to tell how different it really is and in my case a stage 1 tune will be plenty enough as a daily driver
Even though GTI's are not that quick stock. There still a lot of fun

Just 1k miles wow! I remember those days! Mine now has 45k and it is an amazing car!
Hi
How is possible red line in carbon fiber skin on fis?
Good car, thanks
Heey! Sounds better with stage 1?
Doesn’t a Cobb stage 1 not add much hp like around 30? Or did you use a cob device and get like eqt or something
This was the ots map off the Cobb, no Tuner maps.
Was this a dsg trans??
Punky MK7 yes both dsg
Did you have to tune the dsg as well? I heard there is a torque limiter

Ok thanks I always thought a trans tune was required to go more than stage 1
@@matthewmansholt2827 trans tune is always better because they adjust the rpm and the time it chance gears in sport mode.
Next time, just film the cars. We don’t need to see the speedometer and tachometer 😐
I beg to differ, I found this video useful
Nice car payments
Robert Vigil 👍
