One thing I've learned is that doing the proper combo relative to your resources is way harder than top players make it look.
This right here. There’s so many combo routes utilizing different amounts of drive gauge and/or super gauge. I just freeze up sometimes by trying to optimize and end up dropping the combo

I sure do hate when I hear "Ken is easy to play".... from pros sure, they have no guage of actual difficulty, hahaha, but from normal randoms that aren't good? Meanwhile they play some shit like Marisa but call Ken easy..... riiiiight.
Once you learn Kens flow it gets easier, but it needs practice, much less to do it in an actual match and not drop it.

I tried this on a stick, starting from the right side just like this clip. I tried for 3 hours straight, couldn't get it not even ONCE, the DR into 2x qcb is hard af (got it consistently on left side tho).
MP+MK f, hcb, qcb + kick
forget DR just level 1, if not use fwd dash. simple.

Am trying to learn this but it's hard cause I already learned the two different Juggles with a jinrai kicks in the corner one is I do the down crouchinh high punch and i link it with a high version of jinrai kicks and i do the follow up foward low kick to keep u in the air and i do two times ex jinrai kicks but i dont use the 3rd kicked he ends it wiith so in then I mix with a level 3 and the other one is just chin buster link with low version of jinrai kicks and forward low kick and do it 2 times to keep u in the air and finished with a any reachable move and I learned this juggle by watching Maximiliandood with a week of ken in sf6 when the game just came out and I gotten good with ken now I got to learn this one from angrybird I learned soon
That was an amazing combo that i shall adopt to my modern ken and hopefully have a useful midscreen combo❤ ps i wonder if SA 2 works there

One spot of confusion here, why the dash forward st.HP when cr.HP can natively cancel into H Jinrai and both do 800 damage? It doesn't affect the juggle state at all either. Not trying to criticize my man AngryBird but curious why he goes for that since it seems more difficult. Maybe to ensure proper spacing in case his DI hits from a farther distance?

@@CleAnMa Yeah, I know he uses dash as a frame kill to make sure st.HP hits as a juggle state, but you could just as easily cr.HP, no frame kill needed as it can cancel into H Jinrai raw w/o the juggle state.
My hunch is that it's to ensure it works regardless of distance.

Youre right cr.hp is easier and it makes no difference at all. Also instead of super 1 could he of not went crouch mp into ex dragon lash again and then super 1 for more damage or would that not work?
Did the Drive Rush before the level 1 super was necessary to add juggle state or just to bring it closer to connect?
Probably necessary to connect, he looked kinda far
